The Migraine Trust is the only UK migraine charity providing information and support, campaigning for awareness and change, and funding and promoting research.

One in seven people in the UK live with migraine, and this complex and debilitating neurological disorder significantly affects their lives. We have been leading and bringing the migraine community together to change this since 1965.

Every year we support millions of people through our website and support services on all aspects of migraine and for help in managing it at work, in education, and in accessing healthcare. We campaign for increased awareness and understanding of migraine, and national policy change to improve the lives of people who get it. We have funded over 140 medical research projects and hold an international symposium every two years to bring together the world’s leading experts on migraine.

The role

People living with migraine are at the heart of our organisation, while our research highlights the urgent need to reduce the inequity we see for those living with the condition. You will ensure their voices are heard by decision makers and the public and get closer to our vison of ‘a world where migraine doesn’t stop anyone from living the life they want’.

You should be able to deliver high-impact communication campaigns, and have a real interest in policy. A skilled communicator yourself, you will be able to manage a broad role with the ability to build and nurture relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Overall, you’ll bring a desire to create positive change.

You’ll work closely with the CEO and be a key member of The Migraine Trust’s Senior Management team, leading our strategic direction on communications activity alongside targeted public and political campaigns.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of the organisation’s 2026 policy and communications plans and coordinate the development of plans and budgets for 2027
• Oversee development and delivery of the charity’s policy and public affairs strategy, ensuring a strong evidence base and meaningful involvement of people living with migraine
• Manage work our public affairs agency to deliver targeted influencing projects to improve migraine care, workplace support, and parliamentary engagement
• Shape policy recommendations and develop strategies to engage key stakeholders including parliamentarians, policymakers, clinicians, employers and partner organisations
• Monitor the external policy environment identifying risks, opportunities and emerging issues relevant to migraine
• Work with the team to develop and execute creative and impactful communications campaigns to raise the profile of the charity and tackle misunderstanding around migraine
• Ensure content across all channels – including media, digital, social and publications - is on brand and reflects our values and core messaging
• Ensure our online presence meets the needs of our stakeholders, and is fit-for-purpose for current and future organisational needs
• Oversee production of relevant reports, marketing materials and key publications working with freelance agencies and designers as required
• Work closely with Fundraising colleagues to identify and develop opportunities that support organisational growth
• Ensure all those living with migraine and their voices are central to our policy, campaigning and communications work
• Act as a spokesperson when necessary, representing the charity externally

About the job

We are looking to recruit a Grants and Foundations Manager to join Caritas Salford’s fundraising team. The Grants and Foundations Manager position is ideal for someone with previous experience of income generation and a proven success in securing funding from trusts and grant making bodies. You will work closely with senior and service managers, to research new funding opportunities, building and sustaining strong relationships with new and existing funders. You will prepare grant applications and maintain a comprehensive database of funders, opportunities and grant applications, in addition to managing and evaluating bids to ensure optimal outcomes.

Additionally, you will have strong relationship building skills, with the ability to engage and grow income from a wide range of supporters.

Having recently settled into our new identity and expanding the portfolio of programmes we have on offer, this role will work closely with our Business Development team, Admin team and Quality Assurance team to ensure that our existing delivery centres are sufficiently supported to forge a sustainable leadership pathway.

We’re looking for someone to adopt a consistent relationship management process to support all staff at existing delivery centres and to on-board new centres. Introduction

The Senior Fundraising Officer role is a key position within the Fundraising Team in Wales with the main aim to secure income from Grants, Trusts & Foundations and Corporates. The Senior Fundraising Officer will work against annual targets to achieve the RSPB's goals, playing a key role in building financial support for nature.

What's the role about?

The Senior Fundraising Officer will be expected to:

Our newly created role of Director of Technology will join our Senior Leadership Team, and will be responsible for our technology strategy. This includes leading the Full Stack and IT teams to develop the technology infrastructure that supports RNID’s work, and to develop tools that directly support our communities. Job description
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering Lesbian Visibility Week 2026 (LVW). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project manager to lead a high profile week of events and activities raising awareness and building community for LGBTQIA+ women and non binary people.

Core Responsibilities
 Develop a comprehensive plan and schedule for LVW, coordinating an engaging, inclusive and financially viable programme of events and activities
 Working with the Executive Director to lead on LVW partnerships with all stakeholders, ensuring that clear, timely and accurate communication is employed when dealing with sponsors, event partners, attendees, colleagues, trustees and
other key partners
 Overseeing the budget for LVW, ensuring that the programme includes a combination of ticketed events and free accessible for all activities and generates income for DCT
 Work with the DIVA team to develop and deliver a strategy for promoting LVW, including sharing event information on social media, DIVA website, magazine and other partner comms channels and media
 Lead on management of events for LVW, including coordinating venues, catering, performers, ticketing etc
 Work with DIVA team to plan and deliver the DIVA awards nominations and shortlisting, and the DIVA powerlist
 Work closely with sponsors to ensure the terms of their agreements are met and their brands are shared in promotional material as appropriate. Support the team and Executive Director with general administration and support as
necessary

Person Specification / Attributes
The successful candidate will be an experience project manager with a strong track record in event management.

Essential skills and experience
 Demonstrable track record of managing a complex programme of events
