We are seeking an Events Manager to lead UnLtd’s event portfolio while our current Events Manager is on maternity leave. This person will be responsible for leading, coordinating and delivering the event plan in line with the organisational strategy. We are looking for a confident event specialist who will be able to support our frontline team to deliver a schedule of events for social entrepreneurs and UnLtd’s wider network.

You will be flexible in your approach and confident managing the whole process from planning through to delivery and event evaluation. The role is primarily hands-on and often involves working as part of, and at times leading, a cross-functional team. This role will suit you if you are patient and keep calm when things don’t go to plan, or when you don’t have all the answers you need. You’ll fall back on your meticulous organisation skills to ensure that UnLtd events are produced efficiently, fulfil their purpose, and are executed to the highest level.

This role may include some travel within the UK and evening work; however, we operate a TOIL system.

Job Title: Partnership Development Manager

Salary: £37,500.

Contract Type: Full time, 35 hours per week.  Compressed hours may be considered.

Working location: Home based. The role may involve some travel throughout England and Scotland. Expenses will be paid in line with our Travel and Expenses policy.

Magic Breakfast’s mission is to champion and provide nourishing breakfasts that help children and young people learn and thrive. The latest research suggests that 2.7 million children are at risk of hunger, meaning one in five children don’t have enough to eat. When a child is too hungry to learn, they struggle to concentrate, absorb information, and manage their emotions, causing them to fall behind in their studies. 

Magic Breakfast provides a nutritious breakfast to over 350,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target children most in need without barrier or stigma.

JOB PURPOSE 

As Magic Breakfast continues to expand its reach to support growing numbers of children and young people across the UK, increasing our fundraised income is essential. To help drive this growth, we are seeking a full-time Partnership Development Manager to join our high-performing team and secure new, strategic, multi-year corporate partnerships. 

The purpose of the Partnership Development Manager role is to work closely with the Partnership Development Lead to shape and deliver our new business strategy. The role will focus on identifying, cultivating and securing new strategic, multi-year corporate partnerships, developing tailored and compelling propositions for prospective partners, and collaborating cross-functionally with Brand and Marketing, Operations, Volunteering, and other departments across the Charity to successfully bring these partnerships to life. 

Experience securing five- and six-figure partnerships is a plus, but most importantly, we’re looking for a confident, creative, and outgoing self-starter. Someone who is comfortable building relationships, pitching with conviction, and passionately championing our mission to win new strategic partners. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Pipeline Development and Cultivation:   

• Build and manage a pipeline aligned to Magic Breakfast’s funding priorities, including restricted, unrestricted, and Gift-in-Kind opportunities, working closely with the Prospect Research Manager. 

• Secure meetings with prospective partners through creative outreach, networking, phone calls, and LinkedIn. 

• Cultivate prospects to conversion, tailoring messaging, approach, and engagement to each organisation. 

• Maintain accurate records in the database and ensure all risk screening, due diligence, and compliance with ethical and regulatory standards are completed. 

Planning, Pitching & Partnership Delivery 

• Research and understand each prospect’s strategic priorities to define mutually beneficial partnership opportunities. 

• Develop and deliver engaging pitches, proposals, and costed partnership plans. 

• Collaborate internally and with prospects to agree partnership vision, objectives, and KPIs. 

• Ensure contracts are appropriately prepared, explained, approved, and filed. 

• Facilitate smooth handovers of new partners to Account Managers or the Small Corporates team. 

General:  

• Work closely with the Partnership Development Lead and the wider team to contribute to the new business strategy, annual planning, and budgeting. 

• Collaborate with the Partnership Development Team to share ideas, troubleshoot challenges, embrace our test-and-learn culture, and support collective prospect development. 

• Maintain accurate forecasting in Salesforce, updating weekly to reflect progress and pipeline activity. 

• Monitor trends in corporate giving and competitor activity to identify opportunities and inform proposals.

• Build strong, collaborative relationships across the organisation to support partnership development.

• Actively participate in team meetings, supporting colleagues and sharing insights. 

• Represent Magic Breakfast at occasional external events. 

• Undertake other duties relevant to the role and adhere to all Magic Breakfast policies and procedures.

Role Mission. 

We’re on a mission to connect with thousands more bereaved military families and that starts with storytelling.We believe that ‘social’ media is in the past and what is needed today is ‘interest’ media – great content that engages its target audience has the potential to reach more people than a high follow count.As Content Creator, you’ll be our expert in creating great content, capturing the emotion, personality, and purpose behind everything we do. 

This is a fast-paced, highly proactive role focused on creating short-form video and photo content for social media. You’ll attend events, follow team members in action, and use your creative instincts to turn everyday moments into compelling content that resonates with our unique audience. We’re not looking for slick corporate videos, we want quick-turnaround, on-brand, authentic content that stops the scroll and builds trust. 

The key responsibilities of this role are:  

Content Creation 

• Film and edit short-form video content (e.g. Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories etc) for use across Scotty’s social channels. 

• Capture and edit photography when needed, particularly from in-person events and outreach activity, often on the go. 

• Work proactively to identify and attend opportunities to film team members and events (e.g. corporate talks, family days, community activity). 

• Jump on relevant trends and moments, adapting them to fit the tone, audience, and sensitivity of our cause. 

• Create great content which will educate or entertain our target audiences (within the bereaved military community). 

Editing & Tools 

• Use tools like CapCut, Canva, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, or iPhone editing apps to deliver content quickly and efficiently. 

• Add subtitles, basic transitions, music, and graphics where appropriate, always with accessibility and brand in mind. 

• Maintain an organised archive of content and assets for reuse across campaigns. 

• Work closely with the Social Media & Marketing Exec to provide platform-ready content.

Planning & Collaboration 

• Collaborate with the Head of Outreach and Social Media & Marketing Executive to contribute to the content calendar and plan campaigns inline with goals. 

• Bring creative ideas to the table and take initiative in spotting content opportunities. 

• Work to brand guidelines while retaining creative flexibility, balancing tone, authenticity, and audience sensitivity. 

The 30-day goals for this role are: 

• Built a deep understanding of Scotty’s mission, our audience, the services we provide, and strategic direction. 

• Conduct a full audit of the charities existing assets, tools and equipment.  

• Alongside the Head of Outreach and the Social Media & Marketing Exec demonstrate a strong understanding of the Scotty’s tone of voice and our marketing philosophy.

• Agreed key performance measures and personal success measures with Head of Outreach. 

• Attend and capture at least one live in-person event or activity and turn it into usable, on-brand content. 

The 60-day goals for this role are: 

• Delivering consistent, high-quality, creative content reflecting Scotty’s mission and resonating with our target audiences.

• Actively contribute to creative campaign ideas and planning. 

• Effectively repurposing existing content to meet current needs. 

• Working confidently on the go, managing own calendar and movements to capture relevant content across the team. 

• Maintaining an organised archive and has ownership of all video content at the charity. 

The 90-day goals for this role are: 

• Recognised as the go-to team member for on-brand, authentic, video or photo content.

• Demonstrating impact through content, using key performance metrics to evidence success in collaboration with the Social Media & Marketing Exec. 

• Balancing creativity with sensitivity by consistently exercising good judgement around tone, storytelling, and safeguarding. 

• Working with the Head of Outreach and Content Creator, we already have the best social engagement rates of any UK military charity!

What You’ll Need to Succeed 

Must Have 

• A strong portfolio or clear examples of short-form social content (video and/or photography), with clear results. 

• Proven ability to create mobile-first content using tools such as CapCut, Canva, InShot, or similar. 

• Confidence working independently and proactively, capturing content without needing detailed briefs. 

• Strong visual judgement and understanding of what works on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. 

• High emotional intelligence and the ability to work sensitively and respectfully with content involving bereavement and military families. 

• Willingness and ability to travel within the UK for events and activities (with flexibility around occasional evenings or weekends). 

• A genuine passion for Scotty’s mission and a desire to tell real, human stories that matter. 

Nice to Have 

• Familiarity with accessibility best practice (e.g. subtitles, clear visuals, inclusive framing). 

• Experience capturing content in live or fast-moving environments (events, community settings). 

• Basic understanding of how content performance is assessed on social platforms. 

• An interest in community-building and storytelling beyond polished or corporate content.

This role is central to securing the resources, relationships, and income needed to ensure our Multibank meets rising demand across Scotland while contributing to the wider ambitions of the National Multibank network.

Working to a strategy agreed and developed with the CEO, the Partnerships & Fundraising Manager will build strong corporate, community, and referral partnerships; unlock surplus and donated goods; and secure sustainable income through grants, corporate giving, and strategic collaborations. Key Responsibilities

Partnership Development

• Build and manage strong relationships with businesses, retailers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to secure surplus goods and in-kind support.
• Expand and maintain a network of referral partners, including schools, health professionals, local authorities, and community organisations.
• Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities that extend the Multibank’s reach and strengthen supply.
• Identify new partnership opportunities and progress these independently, escalating strategic or high-value decisions to the CEO as appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with the National Multibank and Regional Multibank network, building and nurturing strong relationships and contributing to shared partnership and fundraising opportunities.

Fundraising & Income Generation

• Work closely with the CEO to develop and deliver a pipeline of funding opportunities across trusts, foundations, corporate partnerships, and individual supporters.
• Prepare compelling funding proposals, business cases, and impact reports that clearly communicate need and demonstrate value.
• Secure restricted and unrestricted income to support operational costs, cost-price procurement, and strategic initiatives.

Innovation & Strategic Support

• Work closely with the CEO to identify and secure funding for pilot projects and new delivery models.
• Help shape partnership approaches that support test-and-learn innovation, wrap-around support, and new community pathways.
• Represent The Big House at meetings, events, and stakeholder forums, helping raise the profile of the Multibank and its mission.

GFS is seeking a creative and values led Programme and Participation Coordinator to bring our
programmes of youth activities to life and ensure that girls and young women (GAYW) are at the
heart of everything we do. This role sits within the Development and Impact Team and is key to
designing and delivering inclusive, evidence-informed activities that support and inspire girls, and
develop their socio-emotional skills to build confidence, friendships and wellbeing.

The Programme and Participation Coordinator will develop engaging activities and resources,
support training for delivery staff and administer the monitoring and evaluation of programmes.
They will also champion the voices of GAYW in decision making, and create and deliver
participation opportunities that ensure girl voices are heard across GFS. By connecting
programme design, impact measurement and participation, this role ensures that our work is truly
girl led. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, as well as volunteers and external
partners, they will help embed a culture of learning from and collaborating with girls.
