The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that gives families with a seriously ill child in hospital a comfortable place to stay and a friendly ear to listen in one of our ten ‘Homes from Home’. We are looking for a House Manager who is hardworking and has excellent people skills to manage our ‘Homes from Home’  Stevenson House supporting families at The Royal London Hospital. 

You will be responsible for managing the house including working with the hospital to admit and welcome families, property maintenance, daily administration and compliance such as health and safety, and will be hands on with light domestic duties to prepare rooms for families and ensure the house is maintained to a high standard. 

Your experience to date could come from a variety of sectors and roles such as office administration, facility management, housekeeping or health and care sectors to name a few. What we are looking for are candidates who can:

As Finance & Operations Manager at the Foyer Federation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and building our finance and administrative functions at an operational and strategic level. You will support all aspects of the charity's work and development through the provision of strong financial assistance - ensuring accurate financial reporting, sales invoicing, bookkeeping, grant management and payroll management. You will also take day to day responsibility for HR and organisational administration.

About This Role

We are looking for an exceptional Outreach Manager to lead our outreach and develop excellent referral partner relationships across London. Our Outreach Manager will play a vital role in ensuring that as many women as possible know about and can access our service. 

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised, passionate, strategic, and relationship-driven individual to grow our reach and impact within London (and beyond). 

The role would be based across all of London and our three London centres (Islington, Ladbroke Grove and Croydon). You will be expected to travel to and attend outreach events, as well as meeting referral partner organisations. There will also be occasional evening and weekend work, for which time off in lieu is given.

Responsibilities

About the Role

The Intensive Engagement Hub is an innovative new pilot service, run in partnership with Westminster City Council.

You will have the chance to be part of this exciting new approach to engage people experiencing rough sleeping who are furthest from help.  

As part of a small team, you will work intensively with people rough sleeping in Westminster whose physical and mental health, and engagement with services is creating a persistent barrier to their full assessment and plan to move into stable accommodation.

The pilot will provide;

• Full time wrap around case work for a cohort of approximately 20 people at a time, using the principles of a psychologically informed approach, to develop a plan with the person to support their move on into longer term accommodation, alongside building up a network of professionals around them to support wider stabilisation with health needs. The caseload will be distributed across the team 

• A schedule of temporary accommodation ‘hubs’ set up throughout the year and run from our Centre in Adelaide St. Each hub will offer communal style accommodation for each cohort and will run for up to 8 weeks (we plan to run 4 Hubs throughout the year). The offer of accommodation will be providing an incentive to engage, alongside a short term period of stability to focus on peoples physical & mental health, assessment and facilitation of access to other support services. 

As a result, we will be able to make a new offer to rough sleepers, for whom existing approaches have not been successful, giving them fresh opportunity to engage with the life changing services available that will stabilise them to be ready to move into settled accommodation.  

This is a pilot project, so this will be an opportunity to be part of testing a new approach, which if successful could dramatically improve systems and practices for the those with the most complex needs across the UK.

You will be flexible, adaptable and open to new ways of working, willing to try new approaches and being prepared to learn from mistakes. When the accommodation hubs are open the role will require flexibility and a rota system to ensure evening cover during the week and weekends (overnight cover not required). 

You will be joining the wider dynamic and creative team at The Connection who are grounded in building trust through relationships, providing harm minimisation to our clients whilst promoting a sense of belonging, and working with clients to support them on their journey towards a place to call home.

Senior Digital Engagement Manager

About the role

As our Senior Digital Engagement Manager, you will champion strategic social media, digital campaigns and experiences, working closely with communications, fundraising and campaigning teams to drive sustainable change.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver and continually optimise organic social media strategy.
• Line manage the Social Media Manager.
• Lead on the expansion of the digital channel mix in key growth areas.
• Refine and continually optimise WaterAid’s approach to social video.
• Lead on delivering priority digital engagement projects.
• Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.

To be successful, you will need:

• Experience in strategic planning/development and digital channel management.
• Extensive experience in and knowledge of digital marketing and social media – spanning earned, owned, shared and paid.
• Line management experience, the ability to lead and motivate others, and drive change.
• A strong understanding of the digital landscape and ability to respond creatively to emerging trends and technology.

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• Experience of creating content for and strategically growing YouTube channels.
• A solid understanding of SEO techniques, user experience, testing and conversion optimisation.
• Experience of working with content management systems.

About the role

This role is accountable for playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of safe, high-quality safeguarding processes, procedures, reporting systems across Galop. It is also entrusted with reporting to the board, promoting a culture of safeguarding and learning from safeguarding incidents.

This is a high-impact and strategically significant position, ensuring the development and enhancement of safeguarding frameworks.

The post-holder will act as the organisation’s Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, with the Director of Services continuing to hold the Designated Safeguarding Lead role. The post-holder will also work closely with Heads of Service, service managers, senior leadership, trustees, and teams across the organisation to foster a culture in which safeguarding is deeply embedded and consistently prioritised.

This role holds the responsibility for delivering high quality operations, quality assuring and working on key cases

Due to the nature of the role, regular evening and weekend work may be required. Hybrid working is available, but it is anticipated that this role will be required to regularly work and attend meetings in the Galop building in central London.

About Cosmic
Cosmic is a small but mighty children’s charity dedicated to supporting the incredible work of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, and Queen Charlotte’s Hospital, Hammersmith. We provide vital funding for life-saving equipment, specialist staff training, and pioneering research. We also deliver our own emotional and practical family support services - making a real difference for children and families when they need it most.
As part of our close partnership with our NHS colleagues, you will join a team working at the heart of two world-class children’s and neonatal services, helping Cosmic to make a real difference for families during their most difficult moments.

The Role
This role will take day-to-day ownership of key operational processes across Cosmic’s NICU and PICU support, ensuring smooth delivery, strong relationships across hospital teams, and the continual improvement of internal systems.

The Operations Executive plays a central role in keeping Cosmic running smoothly across both hospital sites and Cosmic HQ. This is a hands-on and varied position, combining operational coordination, ownership of key processes, and direct support to Cosmic’s Senior Leadership Team. This role will be pivotal in connecting Cosmic with the families we support and our NHS units across both hospital sites, by supporting our service delivery and fostering continuous engagement.
You will be responsible for maintaining high operational standards across our service delivery programmes, ensuring our units are well-stocked and supported, coordinating fulfilment activities, improving our internal systems, and helping strengthen Cosmic’s visibility within the hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Coordination Across PICU and NICU
• Act as a consistent and trusted operational contact for unit staff across St Mary’s and Queen Charlotte’s.
• Enhance Cosmic’s visibility in the units, ensuring noticeboards, communications and information materials are up to date and on brand.
• Lead end-to-end coordination of operational tasks across both sites, ensuring high standards and reliable follow-through.

2. Nutri-Care Campaign  
• Coordinate Nutri-Care food deliveries to Cosmic HQ and our units.
• Distribute food items to NICU and PICU units at St. Mary’s Hospital and NICU at Queen Charlotte’s.
• Oversee stock storage at St Mary’s, Cosmic House, and Queen Charlotte’s, maintaining clear logs and ensuring resources never run low.
• Review family and staff feedback from the Nutri-Care surveys and share themes with the Service Delivery Manager to support service improvement.

3. NICU Welcome Bags & Corporate Volunteering
• Take ownership of stock levels for NICU Welcome Bags across both units, ensuring they are always ready for families.
• Work with NICU teams to develop practical solutions that ensure every family receives a Welcome Bag within 24 hours of arrival on the units, monitoring consistency and resolving any barriers.
• Prepare materials and coordinate logistics for corporate volunteer packing sessions, acting as the Cosmic lead on the day.

4. Stock & Supplies Management 
• Maintain regular routines to check, restock and record Cosmic items on PICU and NICU units.
• Oversee stock of cereals, tea, coffee and other essential items that support families and staff.
• Maintain accurate inventory logs and recommend improvements to stock processes.

5. Office & Systems Management
• Manage routine supplier relationships and monitor service standards.
• Process and code invoices for approval and support compliance tasks such as health and safety checks, first aid and fire safety.
• Maintain organised shared drives and digital filing systems, ensuring they are up to date and easy to navigate.
• Ensure all Cosmic office equipment is functional and well-maintained.
• Coordinating diary bookings and logistics for meetings, events, and training.
• Overseeing health and safety compliance (first aid, fire safety checks).
• Support onboarding and leaver processes for new staff and volunteers.
• Manage Cosmic’s relationship with the NHS Post Room, overseeing all incoming and outgoing mail.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, events and staff activities, ensuring information flows efficiently.

6. Support to the Senior Leadership Team
• Provide high-quality executive support including diary management, meeting coordination and travel arrangements.
• Prepare briefing and meeting notes, collate information for internal or trustee papers, and support follow-up on key actions.
• Undertake small operational projects or research tasks with minimal supervision.

7. Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, stock processes and internal systems across the charity.
• Recommend changes to the CEO, COO and support implementation.
• Champion consistency and high standards across Cosmic’s operations.
