You will support the promotion of sustainable shopping and the shop’s social media to increase audience reach, attract customers, donors and volunteer supporters to deliver the Retail Strategy.

Role Requirements

• To maximise shop sales by achieving agreed targets both through donated stock and bought in/new goods. This involves proactive stock generation, optimum pricing, processing stock to agreed amounts and stock planning.
• Achieve Gift Aid sales conversion target through maximising new donor sign up and encouraging repeat donations.
• Achieve the shops Raffle sales targets through involving the shops team.
• To maintain high levels of shop presentation by merchandising and housekeeping to agreed standards as set out in the Shops Operations manual.
• Manage the stock levels of bought in/new goods, to include ordering of more stock as and when necessary and recording key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Assist in holding and attending Fundraising events to promote the awareness of The Children’s Trust.
• To source links with local communities to promote Retail in the community via media and other sources.
• Role involves a degree of manual handling in sorting and lifting of stock.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Governance

• Work with the Board of Trustees to set and deliver the charity’s vision, mission, and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

As Clerk to the Board of Governors

Provide procedural, regulatory, and governance advice to the Board of Governors. Responsibilities include:

• provide administrative support to the governing body, for example: co-ordinating calendar of dates for governing body meetings and preparing agendas, taking notes at meetings for the preparation of minutes and ensuring that all decisions are recorded accurately and objectively, including timescales for actions

Together, we take good quality surplus food from right across the food industry and get it to approximately 8,500 frontline charities and community groups.  Every week we provide enough food to create almost a million meals for vulnerable people.

You will undertake structured, strategic account management, leading and coordinating FareShare’s engagement across our organisation. This will mean agreeing and executing a bespoke joint business plan with each account to get more food, money and strategic support. You will also feedback on ways that we can better support our accounts and improve our services to them.

The Role

This role will identify, develop and manage top food partners relationships and strengthen existing business relationships with companies in the food industry, generating value for the partner and to secure growing and sustainable volumes of surplus food for the FareShare Network.
You will work directly and be on-site with top food partners to help identify and overcome the barriers which exist to giving surplus food to people in need as well as increasing money and strategic resource.
You will also be required to work closely with FareShare colleagues within FareShare and across the UK in our partner organisations in order to identify and understand opportunities for creating mutual and shared value.

Main areas of responsibility

Partnership Management

• Contribute to the development of consistent, structured Joint Business plans with designated accounts that take into account food, funding and other strategic initiatives to drive growth in food, money and other strategic resources.
• Work on behalf of the account to develop and embed services relevant to the account and agreed through the joint business plan – e.g. employability or store level redistribution.
• Execute joint business plans and report internally and externally on progress.

About the role ofHead of Principal Donors

As Head of Principal Donors, you will lead and manage the Foundation’s philanthropy programme, working closely with our senior leadership team and our founder to personally cultivate and steward the Foundation’s principal donors. This includes overseeing our recently formed Accelerate Circle – a select group of visionary philanthropists who help drive the Foundation’s fundraising through their networks.

In this role you will:

• Develop and deliver the Foundation’s philanthropy strategy, playing an active
  leadership role in the successful delivery of income growth from UHNWI and
  HNWIs
• Develop the Accelerate Circle of patrons and deliver a solicitation strategy to
  expand membership and grow our community of donors and supporters
• Provide exceptional stewardship to existing donors and cultivate new donors
• Work closely with our founder and their office to design, plan and deliver highROI engagement such as income-generating dinners or paid speeches
• With the Director Fundraising and Communications, develop annual plans and

Project Accountant

An international not-for-profit organisation is seeking a Project Accountant to join its expanding finance team in London on an initial 1-year FTC. As Project Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity and compliance across a diverse portfolio of philanthropic and government-funded projects. This position sits within the Grant Finance function, working closely with legal, HR, and operations teams to forecast expenditure, track commitments, and ensure that all financial reporting meets donor and audit requirements. The charity has offices in Central London and offers flexible working arrangements, including remote working, compressed hours, and the option to work a four-day week.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain full accountability for project financial transactions and grant funding records.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reports and analyses to project leads and external funders.
• Prepare and review project and proposal budgets, ensuring alignment with donor guidelines.
• Monitor and forecast expenditure, tracking commitments and staffing costs.
• Support funder audits and ensure internal controls align with donor requirements.

About You

You will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with strong experience in grant or project finance, ideally in an international or donor-funded setting.

You’ll bring:

• Proven experience with grant compliance, funder reporting, and audits
• Experience with EC grant compliance and financial reporting is essential
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with the ability to manage complex financial information.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to translate financial detail for non-finance colleagues.
• A proactive and organised approach, capable of managing multiple deadlines across time zones.
• Experience working with multi-currency projects and diverse international teams.

Desirable:

• Experience with SUN Systems / Infor Q&A, Concur, or project tools such as Asana.

As an Individual Giving, Retention Fundraiser, you’ll work as part of the Public Fundraising team responsible for managing a portfolio of Individual Giving campaigns from inception through to evaluation to generate funds, improve engagement and increase life-time value of existing supporters

The role

In this role, you will:

· Be responsible for managing retention campaigns, coordinating with a number of different stakeholders, both internal and externally.

· Experience of monitoring and reporting of results and other financial data.

· Experience of working with data for fundraising purposes, either in using a database to select and segment data or of producing briefs to do so.

· Work with the Senior Individual Giving Fundraisers to deliver campaigns against agreed budgets
