The Operations Manager is an internally focused role that ensures the advertised service is delivered. You will be part of the senior management team ensuring the smooth and efficient running of a high quality advice service, including overall management of the advice session supervisors and volunteer team.

Complex Needs Worker: Women Experiencing Homelessness
Our client, a leading homelessness charity based in London, are looking for a Complex Needs Worker to work in a complex needs service for women experiencing homelessness in south London. Due to a rise in female rough sleepers, and the need to safeguard the most vulnerable in society, a new female only rough sleeper service has been commissioned to provide support and ongoing casework to vulnerable women engaged at the service with the aim of rehousing clients into more independent accommodation. Clients will be referred to the service via homeless assessments services, street outreach teams and other referral pathways.
Candidates for this role will need:
- Experience of working with the homeless and ideally complex needs women and the challenges the specific client group face
- Experience of working in a homeless assessment capacity
- Resettlement experience and knowledge of housing options
- DBS certificate issued within the last 12 months or registered to the online update service
Candidate duties:
- Offering advice and guidance on housing and resettlement related issues to clients
- Overseeing the casework delivery for around 4 clients within a supported housing unit
- Conducting needs and risk assessments and putting in place well-being and risk management plans
- Presenting clients with resettlement options
- Assisting clients to obtain their welfare, housing and related rights
- Referring clients on to relevant specialist support agencies for their needs

Heritage of London Trust restores the buildings and monuments that tell the story of the city and the people who live within it. Founded over 40 years ago, our mission was to rescue characterful and neglected historic sites all across the city. To date, we have restored nearly 800 sites across London.
In 2020 we launched our ground-breaking Proud Places youth programme to inspire and engage young people with the world around them, helping them develop knowledge and skills now and for the future. We work with mainstream schools across London and are the only UK heritage organisation to specialise in working with excluded pupils, young people at risk of gang exploitation and young refugees. To date we have worked with 6,000 young people and the programme continues to expand.
As our programme work has grown, so has our team and investment into our fundraising capability. We are now looking for a dedicated fundraiser who will help us build on our relationship based fundraising activity to grow our income. The Head of Philanthropy is a new role reporting to the Chief Executive.
We have a great pipeline of corporate partners, opportunities with charitable foundations and attractive offers for our dedicated group of high-value supporters to experience our work up close. Our Board of Trustees are committed and well connected, many of them are generous personal donors. We are looking for a Head of Philanthropy who shares our ambition and drive and is excited to work closely with a dedicated and collaborative team while enjoying autonomy to build on our great work to date. Based in a vibrant newly developed impact-hub for charities who work with young people, this role will work in partnership with senior peers in communications and programmes, alongside a fundraising assistant and the Chief Executive, who herself was a professional fundraiser.

Head of Project Delivery (Housing)

Our client's vision is to build new affordable homes to help more people who cannot otherwise buy or rent on the open market. The Development Directorate has a programme of between 400 and 500 homes a year with S106, land-led, package deals and joint venture projects. They are looking for a Head of Project Delivery who will be instrumental in helping them achieve this delivery and their wider vision.
It’s an exciting time to join them, on the back of a busy 2024 / 2025 where the Delivery Team managed the completion of over 520 homes. The new postholder will build on this success, motivating the Delivery Team to successfully manage current and future projects.
Reporting into the Assistant Director of Development Delivery, and playing a key part in the Development Leadership Team, this role currently directly manages a team of six, whilst working closely alongside colleagues throughout the Development Directorate and the wider business.
About you
They are looking for someone who can inspire, develop and motivate the Delivery Team, whilst ensuring successful project, programme and contract management. You will need to demonstrate your ability to do this alongside a great record of delivering diverse development programmes and a knowledge of the social housing sector.
Working via a mixture of office, remote and homeworking, you will have excellent and effective communication skills, being able to positively influence all levels of the business and a diverse range of external contacts. . Supporter Retention & Development, you will play a pivotal role in the Individual Giving team. You will be working on the development and delivery of multi-channel (online and offline) activity and campaigns for Supporter Retention & Development including conversion, upgrade, reactivation, cross-selling, cash appeals & in memory income. You work towards building the Supporter Retention & Development programme, focusing on growing income, the supporter base and improved engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proven experience of Individual Giving / Direct Marketing within a multi-channel, multi-discipline environment to deliver significant returns and supporter satisfaction, especially through supporter retention & development programmes
- Understanding of the effective development and use of supporter contact strategies
- Strong project-management experience, creative development, and supplier relationships for fundraising direct marketing campaigns
- Experience of Individual Giving retention and acquisition programmes
