About MenWalkTalk
MenWalkTalk is a registered charity in England which aims to support an improvement of mental health in men of all ages by engaging in a walking group which is proven to be beneficial to their mental and physical wellbeing. The Stigma around Men’s mental health needs to be broken. MenWalkTalk also aims to reduce social isolation for men and provide signposting to specialist support for those who may be experiencing mental health problems. We want to provide volunteer-led walking groups in every county across England and then the UK. Our volunteers have mental health first aid training as a minimum and their aims are to discuss mental health within their walking groups, in a caring, supportive, and non-judgemental manner. We currently have 22 walk-leaders and 5 campaigners, all of which are volunteers.
Job Description – about the role
We are seeking to hire a self-motivated and enthusiastic Fundraising Officer to work with the charity team and to support the activities of the organisation.
The ideal candidate will possess a wide range of skills and be interested in playing a key role within a small and committed team, supporting the Trustees and Fundraising & Marketing Committee with the organisation’s activities.

1. Background
Chance to Shine is a national children’s charity. We change young people’s lives through cricket giving them the opportunity to play, learn and develop through the sport. Since 2005 our Chance to Shine Schools programme has helped reverse the decline of cricket in state schools with millions of boys and girls in over 13,000 state schools playing and learning through cricket. The Fundraising Team is tasked with helping Chance to Shine achieve its ambition. The Head of Fundraising role will play a key part in leading the Fundraising team to success.

2. Purpose of the role

Salary: £35752 - £42,165 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week (some flexibility considered)

Aim:
We are looking for an experienced finance professional who has worked in the business or charity sector and who is looking to use their skills to make a difference to our charity. Demand for Anawim’s vital services for women is growing and we are looking for a finance manager who is flexible and adaptive while managing the day to day nature of the role. The finance team consists of a Head of Finance and a part time Finance Assistant.
Anawim’s finances are in good shape but its funding sources are unpredictable. Government procurement is increasingly complex and payment in arrears based on performance measures is increasingly common. Our present Finance Manager has developed management accounting systems that allow excellent monitoring of our financial position, KPIs are in place to give early warning of financial challenges and our audit reports are clean.

Fundraising Relationships Officer

At One YCMA, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of those we serve, and we are seeking a passionate Fundraising Relationships Officer to help us expand our Corporate Connect Club and secure vital funds from corporate groups across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire.
This is a Full-Time role
Hours per week: 37.50
Working Pattern: 9am - 5:30pm

This new sub-division (manager and five team members) will join the existing marketing, communications, and fundraising team in identifying and building relationships to raise vital funds for the organisation.
The team will engage existing supporters and identify and cultivate new relationships across all fundraising income streams, including but not limited to:
- Corporate sponsorship and regular giving.
- Individual giving.
- Fundraising challenge events.
- Trusts and foundations.
- High net worth individuals.
- Major donors.
This role will be instrumental in driving forward the approach and stewardship programme for donors, enabling the team to fill the funding gap to continue the organisation’s work in supporting 120,000-150,000 people across Herts, Beds and Bucks.

What you will do:
A vital role in our Fundraising team, you will be working with individuals, organisations, schools, and small businesses in the local areas across the southern region to raise income and awareness for the charity. You will recruit, manage, and inspire fundraising volunteers to support us to raise much-needed funds. You will be passionate about stewarding existing relationships and cultivating new ones, ensuring an outstanding donor experience. Taking a proactive approach will be key to showcasing our work and charitable goals.
What we are looking for:
• Proven experience of effectively managing relationships across a range of audiences.
• Experience of planning and running events.
• Ability to create and support the development of new campaigns, initiatives and strategic plans.
• Ability to manage a varied workload with initiative to prioritise.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills with the ability to engage and inspire.
• Experience of creating, forecasting, and monitoring budgets to deliver against income and expenditure targets.
• Ability to write reports and evaluations using data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in recording and maintaining information on a database.
• Ideally, you will have experience in community fundraising or events management, with a successful track record in raising and securing income from a diverse range of funding streams. Experience of using Salesforce, supervising/managing people and up to date knowledge of fundraising regulations/legislation will be advantageous but not essential.
• Most importantly, you will be passionate about the transformative impact that our assistance dogs provide to our beneficiaries.

About the Role
- You will develop, manage and grow an enthusiastic and motivated team of challenge event participants, pioneer our involvement in the collaborative London Walk event, lead on our Special Events programme, and identify new opportunities and networks for our Community Fundraising remit.
- You will manage the Events Assistant, with a particular focus on their work on our annual Pilgrimage event.
- You will have a strong track record in Events and Community Fundraising, with a solutions-focussed mindset.
- You will have experience in translating sector best practice into action, and to be excited at the prospect of innovating and pursuing new Events and Community Fundraising opportunities for the organisation.
