The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating FearFree’ Volunteers, including supervision and coaching of volunteers.
Volunteers are essential to FearFree services both support service roles and non-support service roles such as admin and fundraising. Volunteers will be within the following roles:
· Helpline Support: Responsible for logging referrals and triaging cases, ensuring initial safety advice is given and the service user is directed to the most appropriate service, as well as responding to professional enquiries.
· Facilitating and Co-facilitating Group Work Programmes: This will include facilitating peer support groups and being second facilitator for group work programmes providing support to victims/survivors of domestic abuse, those who have experienced sexual violence and group programmes for perpetrator groups supporting those who wish to change their behaviour.
· Befriending Services: offering support to individuals who have experienced domestic abuse or sexual violence and are still impacted by the trauma of their experiences, providing support and encouragement to enable service users to create independent and fulfilling lives.
· Admin support: Supporting with our admin support teams such as HR support, finance support, covering reception and other tasks as required.
The Volunteer Coordinator will work closely with the Volunteer Manager, Head of Fundraising and other Volunteer Coordinators in other FearFree localities.
FearFree is committed to hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for meetings. Travel across Devon is required and occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks
Recruitment and training of volunteers
· Participating in the recruitment of volunteers in both service user facing roles and support roles. This will include advertising for roles, interviewing perspective volunteers and supporting with HR processes.
· Planning and delivering thorough training for all volunteers, dependent on the role they will be completing.
· Ensuring each volunteer continues to develop in their role.
· Liaise with Service Managers and Team Managers to identify roles where volunteers could be utilised.
Service delivery and management of volunteers
· Providing line management support and supervision to volunteers.
· Be point of contact for volunteers to raise concerns and discuss cases.
· Ensure the delivery of a high quality, responsive service to people who have experience domestic abuse and/or sexual violence.
· Manage volunteers to ensure service users individual issues and needs are clearly identified and plans meet these needs including matching volunteers with clients.
· Manage the quality assurance of support given by volunteers including safeguarding and compliance with all relevant legislation and best practice guidance.
· Network with other agencies in order to maintain effective communication and joint working for the benefit of service users.
· Promote the rights, equality, diversity and needs of service users by ensuring they are respected and valued as individuals.
· Produce stories and case studies to support the promotion of the service and to evidence the impact of the service.
· Engage with our Marketing and Fundraising Manager to support with coordinating events and to encourage wider team engagement and support.
Other
· Providing written reports and information as required, including information which can be used for the promotion of the organisation and to deliver key messages regarding the experiences of our service users.
· Undertake role relevant training to maintain knowledge, keep up to date with legislation, information and best practice relating to domestic abuse, sexual violence and other related work to maintain Continued Professional Development.
· Attend team meetings, monthly supervision and participate in organisational data collection as required.
· Contribute to effective team working with a flexible and pro-active approach.
· Work within organisational policies and procedures at all times.
· Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the services work in and recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of service users ensuring the service is accessible to all.

The National Paralympic Heritage Trust (NPHT) has embarked on a new exciting five-year strategy – ‘Becoming Seamlessly Inclusive 2023-2028’. Role of the Company Administrator
The Administrator will be responsible for the key administration functions of the Trust; planning, directing, managing, and coordinating all operational functions including the office management, day to day finance records, events support and site maintenance.
1. Overall
1.1 To be part of the inspiring work of the National Paralympic Heritage Trust, supporting the wider team and often being the first line of contact to visitors and partners in person, online and via telephone.
1.2 Manage the provision of office services including the management of day to day finance and payments, staff rotas, stationary orders, supporting events and bookings and ensuring the smooth running of the office.
1.3 Organising the day-to-day maintenance of the Heritage Centre and the displays at the National Spinal Injuries Centre.
Main Duties
1.4 The management of office systems, operating practices, record keeping, policies and budget monitoring systems including supporting returns to funders, monthly invoicing records and payments.
1.5 Administration of training, Heritage Centre bookings, events and meetings, including organising catering when relevant.
1.6 Management of general correspondence, answering phone calls, managing the admin mailbox and processing post.
1.7 Oversight and coordination of environmental action plans.
1.8 Drafting, formatting, and printing of relevant documents for meetings as required.
1.9 Maintaining stock lists and ordering of office supplies as needed.
1.10 Coordinate agendas and take meeting notes for the Board of Trustees and the Finance and Development Committee.
1.11 Management of purchase orders and invoicing.
1.12 Photocopying and filing of appropriate documents as needed.
1.13 Maintaining databases, and the google drive.
1.14 Support processing of DBS checks for staff and volunteers as directed by the wider team.
1.15 Other
· To support communications, digital content and evaluation consultants.
· To support the commercial programme of work.
· Other project work as arises.
· To assist work placement trainees in areas where they require admin support.
2. Meetings and reporting
2.1 The Administrator will be employed by the National Paralympic Heritage Trust and be responsible to the Board of Trustees.
2.2 The Administrator will report to and be supported by the Head of Programmes.
2.3 The Administrator will have monthly meetings with the Head of Programmes, reporting on progress and raising any areas of concern.
3. Period of Contract
3.1 Permanent.
4. Contract fee/Pay
4.1 The proposed fee is £25,000 a year Pro rata 3 days a week (24 hours).
4.2 In addition to the payment outlined above the Administrator will be paid reasonable agreed expenses incurred subject to the supply of receipts/travel expense claim and a stakeholder pension.

Insurance is covered by the NPHT.

Harrogate Homeless Project is seeking to recruit a Volunteer Coordinator to join the Fundraising and Marketing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the growth and development of Volunteering within the organisation. Working with the Fundraising and Marketing Manager, the position will look to develop opportunities for increasing income across fundraising and recruiting volunteers for all areas of HHP activities.

The Role
This role will work with HHP’s Management Team to develop opportunities for all areas within the Charity. Regular activities will include, developing recruitment campaigns to promote volunteering with HHP, ensuring all volunteers receive an induction and appropriate training, and identifying specific skills volunteers have developed and matching these to suitable volunteer opportunities to maximise the benefits for HHP and the volunteer.

Ø Identify potential fundraising opportunities to be discussed with the Fundraising and Marketing Manager.

The Role:
This role will cover a wider area of executive support including governance, meeting management, senior leadership team support, managing on-line gatherings, travel management, diary management, correspondence management and relationship management.
The post-holder will be key in supporting the WWP in this, and also, with both WWP and CEO, in mapping out the key events and activities over a 6 year cycle, so that there is a clear structure for the new WWP (and ultimately successor to CEO ) to come into and work with. They will also assist the CEO in “standard agenda planning” for the board, for example, the induction of the new Board in early 2025.
Whilst the role is for 3 days per week, ideally this would be flexible, with the individual working more days at certain times (for example during the Board week) and less at quieter times.
MU is a small team, (about 25) and there is an expectation that all will show flexibility in helping out on areas not explicit in their role descriptions, when time and their expertise and ongoing workload allow
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate should be proficient in handling the Microsoft suite, zoom, familiarity with handling databases and finance systems. They should be confident in taking minutes in board meetings, experienced in acting as a project manager, able to use a project tool to facilitate planning of schedules for SLT, Board and committees throughout the year, and possess excellent relationship skills, confident to liaise with board members and provincial presidents from around the Globe.

Work Location
This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays.

Grandmentors
Grandmentors is an innovative volunteering project where older volunteers (aged 50+) use their lifetime of skills and experience to support and mentor vulnerable young people leaving the care system. These young people often need a guiding hand and role model to support them to find work, continue their education or begin training – ultimately giving them the skills and self-belief to lead successful and independent lives.
Volunteers meet with a young person regularly to boost their confidence and work towards goals, which are unique to each young person.
Role Purpose
To develop and deliver all aspects of our Grandmentors project in Suffolk, ensuring it achieves its aims, objectives, outcomes, and targets. The post holder will work closely with the Virtual College and Leaving Care teams within Suffolk County Council and local volunteers to ensure that we improve and empower the lives of care leavers (aged 16-25) through the unique power of inter-generational mentoring.
Key Duties
- To effectively deliver the service to ensure the project meets its agreed targets and millstones.
- Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and local authority staff at a day-to day level.
- To ensure volunteers are recruited, appropriately trained and supported in their role; this will involve processing volunteer expenses, DBS checks and maintaining databases.
- To ensure regular communication between project staff and volunteers is maintained and that regular supervision for volunteers is provided.
- To work with your line manager to ensure project expenditure is in line with the budget.
- To maintain accurate administration, for all aspects of the project.
- To maintain accurate records on all aspects of the project and submit data onto a secure database.
- To manage and maintain effective monitoring and evaluation records to capture impact and outcomes and ensure contractual compliance.
- To implement and maintain appropriate risk assessment management processes.
- To prepare regular reports including quarterly progress updates, impact reports and end of year reports for both internal and external purposes.
- To develop relevant information to promote and raise the profile of Volunteering Matters locally.

We are looking for a coordinator to carry out the delivery of our Vocational Qualifications and Funded Modern Apprenticeship Programmes.
The role includes course and funding administration, communication with students and teaching staff, registration with external bodies, and maintenance of student records.
This post requires essential knowledge of IT with a clear understanding of data input and good data management principles, attention to detail and the ability to follow strict timelines in accordance with our funders, as well as adhering to contract requirements. Some young people, for whatever reason, may not have the skills to ensure they can navigate a route into higher education or into training and the employment market.The role of the coordinator is to successfully match them to a volunteer who can help empower them and ensure they achieve the future they deserve. We believe all young people are capable of being in higher education, employment or training if they wish to be, but we also know that some need a helping hand to achieve this. This is where Equip Mentoring comes in. We match the young people with a mentor who can support them to achieve these goals.
Equip Mentoring is delivered by Volunteering Matters across Suffolk. The project works closely with local educational establishments to equip young people with the tools they need to re-engage with education and make informed decisions about their future career prospects and pathways.

The Role of Safeguarding Administrator
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Coventry Diocesan Safeguarding team as a Safeguarding Administrator.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work successfully with a range of stakeholders. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written will be key, as well as working collaboratively within a team.
The main responsibilities of the Safeguarding Administrator are:
- To provide effective and efficient administrative and logical support to the diocesan safeguarding team ensuring that all systems contribute to the delivery of high-quality service and the smooth running of the diocesan safeguarding teams work.
- Overseeing the team’s diary management, booking internal and external meetings
- Minute taking meetings including safeguarding meetings
- Screening calls and emails for the diocesan safeguarding team from a range of stake holders including those who may have vulnerabilities, using your initiative to respond to enquiries, delegate safeguarding referrals to the relevant members of the team
- Maintain and update relevant databases and recording systems, ensuring accurate records
- Be responsible for DBS administration of Parish Safeguarding Officers
- Developing knowledge of safeguarding policy to advise appropriately on matters relating to general parish safeguarding such as safer recruitment, training and parish dashboard
