This role will deliver the communications strategy, further the Charity brand, and engage with our supporters and patients at the hospital, online and in the community. The role will support a range of communications activities, including digital marketing, campaigns creation, website management, production of assets and promotion of key events.

This is an extremely varied role and presents a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in the communications sector. You will have the opportunity to support the wider Business Services Department with the promotion of educational courses and international partnerships. It would suit a flexible, diligent and self-starting all-rounder with an interest in the third sector and the NHS.

The post holder will help to champion and manage the PAPYRUS brand and support the delivery of our projects and services through developing engaging and targeted content. They will act as the day-to-day lead on our social media planning and scheduling, as well as blog writing and storytelling.

What you will do:

Lead on the PAPYRUS social media planning and scheduling, utilising a social media management suite such as Hootsuite, or similar.

Support the day to day running of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and YouTube), using these to promote our services, increase brand awareness and drive engagement with our audiences;

Lead on maintaining and creating content for the PAPYRUS website and blog, collating stories from people with lived experience of suicide, as well as other charity staff and stakeholders.

Develop the charity’s online presence by exploring new opportunities and channels to appeal to different audiences;

Produce creative designs and artwork for print and digital requirements, utilising in-house design tools and software (including Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva);

To be successful in this role you will have:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Social media marketing campaign experience

A natural flair for storytelling, with the ability to create compelling, informative written content promoting the voices of lived experience.

Good project management skills and ability to manage reactive and planned work

Salary: £29,269 per annum (Scale SCP 18) progressing by increments to £32,076 per annum (Scale SCP 23) If based in the London office, you will receive an additional cost of living allowance of £5,000 per annum.

SUDEP Action is the only UK charity focused on preventing epilepsy-related deaths. We have the only epilepsy bereavement service freely available to anyone suddenly bereaved by epilepsy (including SUDEP). Working both independently and with the wider team you will deliver a high-quality community fundraising service. We’re looking for someone who has worked in a fundraising department and/or similar role before, preferably in the charity sector. Engaging confidently with people and feeling comfortable in adapting your approach to different audiences is a key skill for this role - whether they are major donors, corporates or community fundraisers. We are looking for a confident and driven marketer who is eager to join a hard-working and ambitious direct marketing team. Working with different teams across the charity, you’ll be planning, managing and delivering direct marketing campaigns across a range of media including digital and print. You’ll also work with external agencies on our face-to-face fundraising campaigns. Activities in the acquisition portfolio are diverse; from developing the donor’s online user journey to delivering motivational training to fundraisers across the country, your campaigns will drive income and attract new, engaged supporters to the charity.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Campaign Management

· Plan, manage and deliver successful campaigns across a range of channels including face-to-face, digital and print.

· Successful management of fundraising agencies and suppliers; ensuring relationships are effective and productive.

· Deliver motivational fundraiser training and develop engaging fundraiser materials with agency stakeholders to ensure high-quality fundraising.

· Ensure compliance and adherence to regulation and codes of practice is considered in all campaign activities, to include mystery shopping and call listening.

· Work closely with Data and Digital teams to ensure effective processes are worked to and full campaign evaluation is possible.

· Donation page monitoring, reporting and development, to include looking at ways in which to improve the donor’s online user journey.

· Continuous improvement through test and learn principles across all activities.

· Integration of campaigns across the charity to drive maximum value.

· Development of compelling communications and materials to support all activities.

Planning and Budgeting

· KPI tracking, trend analysis and interrogation of results at all levels.

· Live programme optimisation to ensure targets are met.

· Input to annual planning and development of individual giving campaigns.

· Assist Direct Marketing Manager with compilation of detailed income and expenditure campaign budgets.

· Work with Direct Marketing Manager in developing the Acquisition programme and strategy.

· Input to monthly forecasting and regular reporting across a range of financial and non-financial KPI’s.

Finance and Reporting

· Ensure daily campaign tracking and reporting.

· Routine end of campaign reviews and analysis.

· Ongoing reporting on long-term success measures such as attrition and ROI.

· Invoice reconciliation and processing for timely payment.

· Non-financial KPI trend reporting - such as opt-in rates and quality scoring.

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Key responsibilities:

· To take ownership of content published via Baby Lifeline’s website and shared via its social media channels

· To use social media and Baby Lifeline’s website to drive income through fundraising

· To engage with stakeholders through digital activity, building positive two-way relationships

Scope of the role: 

The Digital Content & Communications Officer is responsible for creating content across FEI’s communications channels, inspiring individuals organisations alike to get involved in the face equality movement. 

This is an exciting new role within the organisation and the ideal candidate will be creative, passionate about communications, content and digital and looking to build their expertise in a growing organisation with a global footprint. The role will be varied and the successful candidate will have the chance to work across a variety of key communications activities, with a primary focus on social media.

There will be freedom for creativity and trying out new ideas, with a focus on personal development through training and ongoing support by working closely with the newly promoted Campaigns Manager who previously fulfilled a similar role.

• Social media – Written, graphic and video content to be produced to support FEI’s mission. With the support from the Campaigns Manager, the Communications Officer will lead on developing engaging content to amplify the voices of the facial difference community. • Graphic/video editing – Using tools such as Canva or CapCut to create and edit content.  
   

• Website updates – All FEI staff have access and responsibility to collectively update our WordPress site in line with their role.

Energy & Retrofit Partnership Officer

Working across Newcastle, Northumberland, and North Tyneside this post will support the delivery of the North of Tyne Combined Authority’s One Stop Shop for Retrofit Advice (OSS).  The One Stop Shop will help households progress with domestic energy retrofit by offering a trusted end-to-end solution.

You will be a key resource in supporting the marketing and campaigns activities of the OSS to engage partners across our communities. Working with a team of Energy and Retrofit Advisors the Partnership Officer will develop networks and partnerships to help households pursuing domestic retrofit opportunities. They will attend ongoing Steering Group and delivery team meetings to ensure they are aware of all Shop activity and its effective coordination. The post will work closely with Local Authorities and the Combined Authority to ensure that domestic retrofit is recognised and delivered across the North of Tyne Area.

As Digital Fundraising Executive, you will manage specific digital campaigns to drive supporter acquisition, engagement, retention, and income. You will play an important role in ensuring we provide the best possible experiences for supporters online, and that the online content and journeys are as good as they can be.

Working with colleagues across fundraising and beyond to ensure digital support for the relevant campaigns is effective and optimised.

Required Skills

Essential:

• Proven experience in managing digital fundraising projects with timely delivery, adherence to briefs and budgets, and effective results reporting.
• Knowledge and experience in key digital marketing or fundraising disciplines, including CMS, email platforms, social media, search and display advertising, and GA4.
• Excellent writing skills with a background in fundraising copywriting.
• Competence in data analysis, reporting setup, and tracking progress against KPIs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Project management skills involving coordination with multiple teams and external agencies to achieve organisational goals.

Desirable:

• Experience in international fundraising.
• Understanding of various individual-giving fundraising disciplines, such as mailings, inserts, and TV advertising.

The role

Our Communications and Marketing Officers support all areas of Family Fund’s communications and marketing department. In this role, you will use your creative flair to help deliver strategic communications and marketing plans. And you’ll craft compelling and engaging targeted content to support cross-channel campaigns.

Working closely with colleagues and partners, you’ll be promoting the grants and services we deliver and helping generate vital income so we can be there for even more families.

• Working with the Communications and Marketing Manager to create, implement and evaluate communications and marketing strategies and campaigns, across all areas of Family Fund’s work.
• Creating vibrant content that’s really focused on our target audiences This could be news stories, press releases, blogs, campaign copy, or email newsletters, website pages, social media posts.
• Helping secure positive media coverage for Family Fund and our work
• Supporting wide-ranging internal teams with communications and marketing advice and guidance, and targeted plans to help them achieve their goals
• Giving an editorial steer- editing and proof-reading so all our external content is in line with our brand guidelines.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest communications and digital marketing trends and putting these into practice in your role.

About you

You’ll be someone who is driven by our purpose, and excited about achieving impactful communications and marketing outcomes. You’ll need strong verbal and written communication skills as well as experience of copywriting, editing and proof-reading.

Also, you’ll need solid digital marketing skills, including creating engaging social media posts, across channels.

Finally, you’ll need to be confident in using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Main purpose of the role

Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, this post will lead on the development and delivery of Thrive’s community and public fundraising whilst working collaboratively with the rest of fundraising team to maximise and develop opportunities over various income streams.

 The post holder will work with our local centres to develop fundraising opportunities and offerings that are appealing to the local community.

This new Marketing and Digital Content Creator role will work alongside the Fundraising and Communications Manager and Partnerships and Events Fundraiser. The work is varied with different events and projects arising throughout the year and the team works collaboratively to achieve targets.

• Developing and implementing digital plans to grow audience engagement and brand awareness.

Introduction to Generate

Generate is a charity that was founded in 1972 by passionate volunteers who wanted to make sure that people with learning disabilities weren’t isolated in their local community.

Today that passion still inspires our staff: to support people with learning disabilities to live their lives, in the way they choose – enabling people to discover their passions, connect with their communities and explore ‘possibilities’. This passion drives the quality of the work we do.

Main Purpose of Role: To manage the portfolio of Generate projects related to promoting better health for people with a learning disability.

Responsibilities and Duties specific to this role:

• Collaborating with the other manager on the following:
• Day to day management of the Easy Health website, website management and membership management.
• Day to day management of the Easy Health social media: Creating regular engaging content and posting to the Easy Health twitter and Facebook pages, engaging with replies.
• Co-creating accessible health resources alongside Generate staffs with lived experience of learning disability.
• Designing and delivering training, in collaboration with co-trainers who have learning disabilities.
• Promoting Generate’s health training and easy read work.
• Increasing Generate’s earned income from health training, easy read work and contract delivery.
• Delivering on all the Health Project contracts to increase the accessibility of primary care services and reduce health inequalities for people with disabilities in Wandsworth and the UK.
• Manage a team of consultants and sessional project workers, some with lived experience of learning disability and autism.

Person Specification

We recognise that not every candidate will have all these skills and experiences but are looking for somebody who can show us that they meet a high number of them.

• At least 1 year experience of coordinating or managing projects.
• Experience of website management using a content management system.
• Applied experience of creating accessible digital products and platforms.
• Working knowledge of social media, online campaigns & community engagement, creating engaging and inclusive content.
• Experience of designing and delivering engaging and informative training, including online and blended trainings.
• Knowledge about health inequalities for people with learning disabilities, and the challenges this group of people face in accessing healthcare.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues with a learning disability and neurodiverse colleagues – understanding of reasonable adjustments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adjust communication style to different audiences, and provide accessible information.
• Experience of managing relationships with a range of external stakeholders.
• Experience of promoting a product or service and creating new business opportunities.
• Experience of using person centred approaches with people with a learning disability.
• Experience of using design tools (Canva, the Adobe suite, Final Cut Pro....)
• Good IT skills including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Methodical and well organised, with the ability to prioritise work effectively.
