Job Purpose - Project Delivery Manager 

Responsible for the overall management of a defined project(s); establishing the membership of a cross functional project team; ensuring that the work is done within agreed time, cost, and quality tolerances; ensuring execution; ensuring post project evaluation.

Key Result Areas

• Deliver the definition, planning, development, and operational implementation of a new system(s) across the organisation.
• Developing the Project Initiation Document for Sponsor sign off that ensures effective estimation of cost, timescales, and resource requirements, including a detailed Quality Plan.
• Active management of project progress, scope, budget, risks, issues, resources, dependencies, stakeholders, vendors, and requirements throughout the project lifecycle, escalating to the Project Sponsor, as appropriate.
• Ensuring that Delivery Partners produce robust and realistic detailed project plans which enable critical path analysis, ensuring action is taken where these deviate from agreed tolerances.
• Manage supplier relationships – Using strong negotiation and influencing skills, you will ensure that suppliers / vendors keep to project delivery plans, that SLAs / KPIs are met, and that performance / delivery remains at a high standard. You will lead in the resolution of any blockages / challenges.
• Assuring and overseeing the effective management of all project workstreams to agreed quality criteria throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assuring and overseeing the development and execution of a stakeholder engagement plan to manage relationships, ensuring buy-in, timely involvement and commitment of key stakeholders.
• Put in place governance and control structures for the design, implementation and management of business process, infrastructure, data/data quality design.
• Ensure that robust frameworks are in place for User Acceptance Testing by systems users, project members and maintain oversight/approve resolution plans and changes.
• Support the Head of IT / Director of IT in contract management.
• Assuring the project(s) are managed according to best practice principles and appropriate governance is in place.

ROLE PURPOSE

This position involves identifying and prioritising potential donors capable of making significant contributions to help us deliver a range of projects aimed at enhancing the student experience and supporting the local community. By providing the Development and Fundraising Team with tailored and insightful research, this role will enhance the prospect funding pipeline and facilitate the cultivation of a diverse pools of donors, including individuals, grant-making trusts, and companies. This role will also manage a well-structured stewardship program for donors. Responsibilities include promptly acknowledging donations, creating personalised impact reports, and overseeing bi-annual events which recognise and celebrate their support.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

· To maintain and develop the University’s database of fundraising prospects through proactive identification, analysis, and segmentation, (individual and aggregate) record updating, and original research, including the identification of new prospects.

·  To prepare prospect profiles (which may include wealth ratings), and work with relationship managers to devise appropriate tailored cultivation and solicitation plans, enabling appropriately targeted fundraising asks.

·  To develop and manage reporting in the database across fundraising portfolios to help ensure prospects are strategically moving along the prospect pipeline towards major gift solicitation • To produce and provide due-diligence reports on prospective donors as part of the University’s gift acceptance procedures.

· To deliver an annual donor recognition event to acknowledge and celebrate the support of the University’s most generous supporters.

· To organise smaller bespoke events for higher level donors to the university, for example, site visits to project sites and/or opportunities to meet student beneficiaries.

CONTEXT

The primary purpose of the Development team is to secure philanthropic income to support the delivery of the University’s Being Westminster 2022-2029 strategy. The Development team forms part of the Global Recruitment, Admissions, Marketing and Communications (GRAMC) directorate. The team also works closely with the Business Engagement Directorate to deliver an integrated approach to the University’s relationships with its key external stakeholders. About You:

Having worked in a third sector direct marketing role previously, you will have experience running effective national and regional campaigns using a variety of fundraising channels including digital, email, social media, direct mail, and telemarketing. You will have knowledge of usability testing, user research methods and conversion rate optimisation as well as an understanding of fundraising regulator guidance, gambling commission compliance and GDPR. 

About The Role

• Manage the delivery of all Retention campaigns from concept through to evaluation, using data and insight to drive creative and production, drawing up schedules, and managing the approval processes
• Work collaboratively with data teams to ensure effective use of supporter profiling for delivery across a range of Retention campaigns
• Manage relationships with external agencies including media houses, designers and printers; to negotiate costs and relevant performance reviews
• Responsibility for collation of all KPI tracking, trend analysis and activity results that feed into the team’s reporting and performance structure 
• Work alongside the Content team to research and develop strong cases for support to appeal to existing donors. To gather information, case studies and photos for use in all direct marketing campaigns. Where appropriate, to liaise with external agencies such as designers and copywriters

Main duties and responsibilities:

As Panel Chair you will be required to chair panel meetings monthly (or as required); meetings will take place in either of CFC’s main offices located in Gloucester and Lancaster.  We undertake a blended approach to our Panel’s; some are face to face whilst some remain on zoom.  Our preference is for Panels to take place face to face wherever possible. 

As a Panel Chair you will be expected to take responsibility to:

- Chair panel meetings (to include panel briefing), ensuring that all items of business are covered and that the panel operates in accordance with regulations and CFC’s policies and procedures

- Prepare for all panel meetings, reading papers thoroughly and identifying key issues and alerting the panel advisor if necessary, to ensure that the case is adequate for submission to panel.  

- Facilitate the active participation of all panel members in contributing to the panel’s consideration of cases and to the making of clear and well evidenced recommendations with the reasons for these.

- To address diversity issues and to promote anti-discriminatory practice at all times

- Ensure that clear and accurate minutes are written, which record the views of all panel members and to be involved in the checking and agreeing draft minutes with other panel members before they are sent to the agency decision maker

- To liaise with the ADM and other senior managers as required

- Ensure that the ADM and registered manager are aware of any areas of concern, in relation to individual cases and more general matters

- Be involved in the recruitment and appointment of central list members and in any consideration about terminating the appointment of a member

- Review, alongside the panel advisor, the performance of central list members as the need arises, and at least annually.

- Assist in developing, promoting and monitoring policies and procedures and high standards of work in fostering services in the agency.

- Assist in planning training for members and to participate in this at least one day a year

- Safeguarding the confidentiality of all panel papers and panel discussions

- Be involved in

o Whether a case is adequate for submission to panel (via panel briefing meeting)

o Deciding on the attendance of observers at panel

o Deciding on the participation of a panel members who declare an interest in the case

o Deciding when an extra panel maybe necessary

o The preparation of an annual report on the panel’s work

- Participation in Fostering Quality Assurance meetings (3 times a year), to support the agency monitor and review areas of practice across the fostering service, to include the panel’s performance.

Safeguarding Officer

Specific Responsibilities

To provide ongoing strategic development, support and administration for effective safeguarding in RDA by way of:

- developing and delivering the action plan and ongoing objectives from the BEF Audit/ Framework Plan and RDA Safeguarding strategy
- continuous improvement and relevance of all Safeguarding materials and resources, to ensure RDA UK’s Safeguarding policy and statutory obligations and expectations are met, including relevant actions following BEF Safeguarding Action Team (SAT) meetings
- handling communication of Safeguarding reports, concerns and requests for guidance from the RDA UK network
- Safeguarding Case Management support to Membership Services Manager and other RDA UK Safeguarding staff, as appropriate
- working collaboratively with the RDA UK Safeguarding Lead and other relevant RDA UK staff and volunteers to plan, deliver and review projects that improve outcomes for children and adults at risk, within the RDA UK network
- liaising with and advising other members of the RDA UK team and working groups on Safeguarding best practice, policies and requirements, including specific projects or events

About the role
We are seeking an experienced individual to lead our volunteer development activity. Working closely with
the Fundraising, Delivery and Marketing teams, this is a varied role working with alumni and employee
volunteers to support activities in our member schools.

You will lead on the development of our volunteer community which is managed online through the Future
First Hub, and be responsible for developing and delivering a programme of activities that nurture

The Senior Multiple Needs Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) will work within a dynamic, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service based at the CGL Ealing Women’s Wellness Zone.  The IDVA will provide support in the local community and at the Ealing Women’s Wellness Zone.  The successful candidate will be co-located up to 5 days a week at the Women’s Wellness Zone.

The IDVA will be closely working alongside CGL colleagues/team to deliver support to women with a range of complex support needs including substance misuse, mental health, domestic abuse, sex working, trafficking, and offending behaviour. The IDVA will work in collaboration with their team members to holistically support women in the borough of Ealing to achieve sustained recovery, improved health and wellbeing, helping women to manage/mitigate risks, and empowering them to reach their fullest potential in society as well as ensuring the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process.

The Senior Multiple Needs IDVA will assess the needs and risks of survivors, carry out short and longer-term risk management, safety planning and support. As well as identify and refer to services appropriate to their needs. They will also proactively advocate and advice women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies, encouraging them to engage with other agencies, and help co-ordinate the provision of multi-agency support where necessary.

About You:

 

To be successful as the Senior Multiple Needs IDVA you will need to have:

Excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children, of best practice in supporting survivors of domestic abuse, and of the MARAC. As well as understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field.

Bringing your experience of risk and needs assessment, safety and support planning, and crisis planning and successfully managing high numbers of referrals and experience of working in a co-located setting with another agency and providing consultations/briefings to professionals to support in upskilling them around Domestic Abuse. The candidate will have experience of partnership working and of maintaining excellent working relationships with a range of stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to work as part of an innovative service, designed to offer multi-disciplinary wrap-around support to women with multiple needs, with the aim of facilitating long-term recovery.
