About the Role

Key responsibilities
Income generation and business development
•Identify and develop opportunities to secure commissioned services and contracts with local authorities, NHS bodies, family hubs, children’s services, early help teams and voluntary sector organisations

The Business Development Manager will play a central role in building the relationships and income pipeline that drives the training targets. Alongside these targets, NEYDL currently holds commissioned service contracts with several local authorities: Durham, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Gateshead. From initial investigation through to completion, you'll coordinate surveys, manage contractors and consultants, monitor budgets and programmes, mitigate risks and ensure full compliance with current legislation and organisational standards.
You'll also play a key role in resident engagement, providing clear communication throughout the project lifecycle while maintaining accurate project records and audit trails.
What You'll Be Doing
Deliver complex major works and defect remediation projects from inception through to completion.
Manage contractors, consultants and specialist suppliers to achieve high-quality outcomes.
Coordinate technical investigations, surveys and condition assessments.
Monitor project budgets, programmes, risks and performance.
Ensure compliance with Building Safety legislation and industry best practice.
Build positive relationships with residents and internal stakeholders.
Produce project reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Drive continuous improvement across project delivery and contractor performance.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Experience delivering major works, building maintenance or refurbishment projects within social housing, housing associations, local authorities or ALMOs.
A strong understanding of building defects, asset management and building safety.
Experience managing contractors and consultants on occupied residential properties.
Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of compliance, health & safety and construction legislation.
The ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Our client offers a range of quality, exciting and inclusive short break clubs and activities across Surrey and West Sussex for children and young people aged 5–17 with a disability and additional needs. They are now looking to recruit an Senior SEND Delivery Coordinator to oversee the delivery of high quality, stimulating, safe services for a range of children and young people in Leatherhead and Epsom.
As Senior Delivery Coordinator you will plan and deliver a structured programme of enjoyable, recreational, high-quality activities to meet the needs of children and young people with additional needs and disabilities who attend Short Breaks clubs. You will coordinate and take responsibility for the planning, allocation of places, and sufficient staffing to ensure safe delivery of Short Breaks clubs, and will assist in the recruitment, training and ongoing development of the Disability staff team. You will have responsibility for processing new referrals, initial assessments, individual care plans and any associated risk assessments or specialist plans to ensure individual needs are met.
This exciting and rewarding role will require a passion for working with SEND as well as excellent coordination skills to manage the delivery of high quality, stimulating, safe services. Term time hours: Tuesday-Saturday, or Wednesday- Sunday (09:00 – 17:00) on a rota basis with one weekend day each week (max 35 weeks)
School holidays hours: Monday–Friday (09:00 – 17:00) (minimum 17 weeks)
