About the role
This is a varied and rewarding role supporting the delivery of Lily's community fundraising and individual giving programme. You'll be the main point of contact for many of our amazing supporters, helping individuals, families and community groups make the most of their fundraising. You'll also play a key role in developing Lily's Teams initiative, which brings together families and friends fundraising in honour or memory of someone affected by mitochondrial disease.
Alongside community fundraising, you'll support the delivery of Lily's emerging Individual Giving, Regular Giving and Legacy fundraising activity, helping to develop and deliver supporter journeys, campaigns and communications that encourage long-term engagement.

Key responsibilities

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, relationship-led Philanthropy Manager to join the Fundraising Team at the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO). Join us in developing our portfolio of major donors at a time when investment and commitment to strategically transforming our programme is high.
In this role, you’ll focus on high-value relationships of £10,000 and above, with opportunities to collaborate on organisation-wide projects. You’ll identify, cultivate and steward major donors and work with teams across the charity to create inspiring supporter relationships
This role also holds responsibility for curating meaningful events that steward our generous donors and encourage their support of BTO. The Head of Public Fundraising is a new role at Coeliac UK leading the charity’s public fundraising function. The role focusses on driving sustainable growth across individual giving, community fundraising, events, lottery, raffle, digital fundraising and merchandise. This role is responsible for delivering Coeliac UK’s 5-year fundraising strategy to maximise return-on-investment, grow long term supporter value, and contribute to the charity’s mission.
The Head of Public Fundraising will embed and deliver comprehensive fundraising strategies, growing Coeliac UK’s supporter base and income, building up new and under-developed income streams and communicating effectively with their audiences to expand their reach, and encourage financial and non-financial support to deliver the organisations mission.
Who are we looking for?
Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding of individual giving fundraising. This role blends the strategic oversight and leadership of a Head of role across multiple income streams, with the hands-on expertise of an IG fundraiser. Experience across other income streams and areas of fundraising delivery would be a huge benefit as the role leads community fundraising and events, will take on digital fundraising - currently led by the Chief Engagement Officer, as well as manage the data and supporter care functions, but experience in individual giving is essential as Coeliac UK has defined that as an area of priority income. Age UK Wandsworth is a local, independent charity that works to promote the wellbeing of all older people in the London Borough of Wandsworth. We offer a variety of services with the goal of helping older people to #AgeWellinWandsworth. Our charity is consistently growing, so we are creating this new role to support our CEO with social media, marketing and organising events.
The role will suit someone who is calm, mature, professional, organised and creative and will be comfortable working directly with a creative and curious CEO committed to transforming the charity’s online presence.

Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser
Up to £31,000 per annum + excellent benefits

About the role:
We are looking to appoint an experienced fundraiser to manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships to help fund the growth of our care services, and to build relationships with companies to help them achieve their CSR goals.
Reporting to the Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager. You will be part of a team driving Rainbow Trust’s Corporate income, building and maintaining the pipeline through effective networking and stewardship. You will be responsible for the stewardship of varied corporate accounts to whom you will become a main contact and provide excellent account management. Some accounts raising six figure sums.
You will work collaboratively towards a ‘one team one target’ approach across the Fundraising and Engagement department and ensure that the use of technology is maximized and all processes are subject to continuous improvement.
This is an excellent opportunity to maintain a breadth of fundraising experience to position yourself for future fundraising roles with increased responsibility.

What we’re looking for:

Knowledge of the principles that underpin good customer care – you adhere to established guidelines,
policies and procedures, and provide excellent relationship management
You thrive working in a busy environment on multiple priorities simultaneously – results-oriented and a fast learner, you respond quickly to pressure and a changing environment.
Confident use of MSOffice and some experience of using a database – you have strong attention to detail, are comfortable working with data, and produce high quality accurate work.
