This is an exciting opportunity for a well-organised and detail-focused professional to provide essential administrative, financial & operational support to the Wilder Ecology team. The successful candidate will help coordinate contracts, manage records & SharePoint file management, support enquiries, arrange equipment & servicing, assist with quotations and tender submissions and ensure important documentation is kept accurate and up to date. The role will involve working closely with the finance team to maintain contract records, monitor budgets, process expenses, support invoicing, purchase orders and help track financial performance across the consultancy.

Alongside strong administration & finance support, the post holder will contribute to the profitability & growth of the consultancy by helping analyse contract costs and financial performance, ensuring the team has the information needed to make effective decisions. This role would suit someone with excellent organisational skills, a strong eye for detail and confidence working across administration, finance and business support.

Wilder Ecology is the ecological consultancy of Suffolk Wildlife Trust. It provides specialist ecology services through a team of expert ecologists, with work focused on ecology, wildlife conservation & Biodiversity Net Gain. The consultancy delivers professional advice & survey services to high ecological & professional standards, working in accordance with CIEEM guidance and the Biodiversity Code of Practice for Planning and Development, and is also ISO-certified.

As part of Suffolk Wildlife Trust, Wilder Ecology combines commercial ecological consultancy with a strong conservation purpose. It is a member of The Wildlife Trust Consultancies network, which brings together consultancy teams affiliated with local Wildlife Trusts to share expertise, training & knowledge and to collaborate on larger projects. All profits generated by Wilder Ecology are passed back to Suffolk Wildlife Trust, helping to support the Trust’s wider work to protect & restore nature across Suffolk.

This is a permanent position working 20 hours per week (days and hours to be discussed at interview). The base of work will be Brooke House and the starting salary will be between £13,847.70 and 14,847.70 per annum (FTE £27,839.44) depending on skills, knowledge and experience.

The Business Support Officer will play a key role in the smooth running of Community Leisure UK, with a specific focus on facilitating members’ meetings and managing queries from members. The postholder will ensure that our members’ Special Interest Group, and other thematic, meetings are organised and run efficiently, and that information is shared regularly with our membership via email. They will often be the first point of contact in relation to member queries and will be responsible for directing and responding to queries as appropriate. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate contact details for the networks. An overview of our networks can be found on our website.

• Monthly mailout to collect submissions for the monthly ezine 
• Post members’ job advertisements onto the website

The Brompton Fountain supports children's heart and lung care at Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust encompassing Royal Brompton, Harefield, St Thomas’, Evelina London Children’s Hospital and their partner hospitals.
Based at Royal Brompton Hospital, we work with teams across all sites to ensure patients and their families receive specialised support and resources (whilst in hospital and at home), regardless of where the child is treated within the Trust
network.

The Family Support Officer plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, practical and emotional support to children, young people and families receiving care under the Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. Working closely with the Hospital Services Manager, the post-holder will help deliver high-quality charitable services, events and projects.

Key objectives of the job 

• Work closely with the Hospital Services Manager to deliver core charity support, including but not limited to researching and distributing essential items, seasonal gifts and treats.

• Assist with the planning, preparation and delivery of events for children and families, varying in scale from one-to-one activities to large events.

• Obtaining and filing photo consent forms for any photography for promotional use.

• Assist with the delivery and development of services specifically for bereaved families, including annual events and support projects. 

• Assist with the upkeep of parent communal areas, including stock levels and general maintenance.

• Order products as directed by Hospital Services Manager

• Accurately recording charitable output, to be used for reporting purposes.

As a Senior Support Officer, you will primarily be responsible for raising awareness and providing a high-quality support and advocacy service to our members and their families.   You will be a relationship builder who cares about the community we serve and ensures that the individual (or family) remains at the centre of support.  You will have experience in multi-agency working and an in-depth understanding of the needs of those with disabilities, their families and carers.  Demonstrable experience and knowledge of health and social care, education and relevant assessment processes are essential. 

As deputy safeguarding lead officer for both shildren and vulnerable adults you will take the lead in the absence of the safeguarding leads and be confident sharing your knowledge with new recruits through mentoring.

You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to uphold best practice, challenge poor policy and inappropriate decisions.  Excellent IT skills and the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver to tight timescales are essential.  You will be self-motivated and highly organised, juggling many strands of work. 

As part of a small, dedicated team, you will have a positive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively with your colleagues and external parties to raise awareness, advocate for our membership, as well as supporting the delivery and development of services for the MPS Society community.

Whilst a relevant qualification within health & social care, education or a related field is desirable, other knowledge and work experiences may be equally as valuable in this role. Prior knowledge of MPS and related conditions is not required however a special interest in neurology and working with individuals with neurological disabilities is advantageous.  In-depth support and training to develop expertise in MPS and related conditions, and the needs of those affected by these progressive, life-limiting conditions will be provided.

The Role:

The Fostering Recruitment Officer/Family Support Worker role focuses on working with prospective and approved foster carers, children and families. You will be available to respond to and visit prospective foster carers as well as plan and participate in recruitment events across the region, contribute to facetoface and online activities and opportunities to support those interested in fostering.

This role requires the candidate to support children and young people in person and attend recruitment activities across the South Coast, focusing primarily on Hampshire and Dorset, including Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) and surroundings. Therefore, the use of a car suitable for transporting children is an essential requirement of the post, along with the ability to travel extensively, working flexibly around hours and days, including occasional weekends and occasional evenings, as key support to children and their carers and to respond to prospective carers' availability. Flexibility is required in the role to manage and support at short notice, meeting the needs of the children/service.

All employees are homebased but are required to travel regularly to the above locations and attend monthly face to face meetings, wellbeing events, and training events.

The Frontline AIDS Technical Assistance (TA) unit is responsible for managing the delivery of Frontline AIDS’ portfolio of Technical Assistance assignments to a wide range of stakeholders. AMMF is the UK’s only charity solely dedicated to raising awareness of and funding research into cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer).  The charity works closely throughout the UK with clinicians, healthcare professionals, researchers, policy makers, patients and their carers, as well as actively collaborating across Europe and globally.  

The role of the Fundraising Support and Admin Officer is to deliver high quality, responsive fundraising support across all areas of fundraising, and to drive forward AMMF’s fundraising activities, strategy and relationship development with supporters and funding partners, including the development and use of social media, and Microsoft Office, to achieve this.

It is expected the Fundraising Support and Admin Officer will develop an understanding of AMMF’s aims and objectives and its policies and procedures.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Successfully co-ordinate and manage all fundraising activities – which include individual giving, digital fundraising, events, In Memory, legacy giving and online shop sales.
2. Support all aspects of contact with AMMF’s supporters and fundraisers, via social media platforms, the discussion groups and forums, email, including e-shots, mail and telephone.
3. Manage and maintain the fundraisers’ events diary.
4. Develop, maintain and manage a comprehensive database of supporters and fundraisers using a CRM system.
5. Manage and record all information relating to fundraisers’ activities, results and income, including recording Gift Aid.
6. Record, reconcile and provide accurate financial information to the CEO and trustees as required. 
7. Identify and progress fundraising opportunities to generate sustainable income.
8. Support the Head of Events and Campaigns with the delivery of fundraising campaigns, ensuring they are cost effective and maximise income.
9. Support the development of a fundraising and communication strategy.
10. Manage all aspects of the charity’s online shop.
11. Attend external AMMF networking, partner and fundraising events when required.
12. Attend the annual AMMF conference and fulfil duties as required.   
13. Produce ad hoc reports to support senior management team as and when required.

Essential criteria

2. Competent with Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and with emailing services such as Mailchimp, virtual meeting platforms Teams and Zoom, and social media platforms, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Bluesky, and Hootsuite.
3. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
4. To be sensitive to the areas of work AMMF is involved in.
5. Ability to motivate and enthuse colleagues, fundraisers and supporters.

We are currently seeking a Trust Fundraising Support Officer to join our growing fundraising team. 2025 was our best year yet for income and this role is pivotal in helping us to take the next step in further growing our income.

This new role will play a key part in delivering funding from Trusts, Foundations and other funders across the UK, supporting the Senior Trust Fundraising Officer to maximise our income. You will be responsible for making small-scale grant applications, and for growing our grants portfolio through identifying new funding opportunities.

There will be a range of projects to work on, providing vital support to ensure that we are increasing the number of warm funders who regularly support the charity.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Build up a strong pipeline of prospective funders by researching trusts that align with Epilepsy Action’s vision and strategy
• Secure income from small-scale charitable trusts, foundations, and other grant makers to meet individual and team targets
• Ensure timely thanking, updates and reporting for all grants and donations from our rolling programme of applications
• Use data in the CRM to analyse trends and identify opportunities

At Epilepsy Action we recognise the power of collaboration and teamwork, so our team members with hybrid contracts can expect to work a minimum of 40% at our office in Leeds. On average this is 2 days a week, normally on Mondays and Thursdays, for full-time employees. The expectation to collaborate face-to-face is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do which may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to help us create a world without limits for people with epilepsy.
