The Work Rights Centre is looking for an experienced and values-driven Immigration Adviser or Solicitor to join our frontline team. In this role, you will deliver life-changing legal advice to vulnerable migrants, while using your frontline insights to contribute directly to strategic campaigns, research, and policy work that challenge the systemic causes of injustice.
This is an ideal opportunity for an empathetic immigration expert who thrives in an agile and collaborative environment, and wants to plug the vital gap in support available through legal aid.
Pay: £36,000 - £42,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
Contract length: Permanent (6-month probation)
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate)

The role
You will provide high-quality legal advice and representation at IAA Level 2/3 or Solicitor standard. Your diverse casework will range from assisting sponsored workers on high-risk visas, to managing complex human rights cases and supporting victims of modern slavery and trafficking. Crucially, your work will not happen in isolation. You will work closely with our employment advice team on overlapping cases, collaborate with policy and comms colleagues to evidence systemic issues, and help deliver public legal information and training.
About you
We seek an enthusiastic professional with at least 3 years of experience delivering high-quality immigration advice, who demonstrates a deep empathy for the experiences of vulnerable migrants.
You will also have:
Level 2 or 3 IAA accreditation OR status as a qualified Solicitor eligible to practice in England and Wales.
A 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in law or a related subject.
At least 3 years’ experience providing immigration legal advice in compliance with IAA/SRA standards.
Excellent legal research, analytical, and case management skills, with the ability to manage complex caseloads and tight deadlines.
Outstanding client management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to lay persons clearly and compassionately.
A collaborative, team-first mindset and a commitment to the mission and values of the Work Rights Centre.
Desirable: Knowledge of Modern Slavery and the National Referral Mechanism (NRM), familiarity with social welfare law, or proficiency in a language other than English.

The Deputy Manager – Localities will support the Oxfordshire Wellbeing Manager to ensure effective delivery of high-quality locality-based services for people experiencing mental health issues in Oxfordshire. Providing some direct support to service users through Advice and Guidance sessions, short courses, workshops and peer support groups as well as providing management support to the team.

In addition to dedicated advocacy support, they will be able to access a programme of prevention and awareness-raising groups and workshops run out of Advance Women’s Centres.

You will build trusted relationships and coordinate practical support across the areas that most affect young women’s stability and future prospects - including education, housing, health, employment and interaction with justice services.

Part of a team of Outreach and Project Workers pivotal to the delivery of an exciting new project focused on reaching women identified as at risk of homelessness and exploitation. The Luna Project supports women at risk of rough sleeping, homelessness and exploitation. Together, we provide a seamless service that supports residents from immediate financial crisis through to long-term resilience. Our partnership combines specialist money and debt advice, welfare benefits advice, housing support, homelessness prevention, trauma-informed practice and financial education to provide holistic support for people experiencing financial hardship. Rather than asking people to navigate multiple services, we work together to ensure they receive the right support at the right time, through a coordinated 'No Wrong Door' approach.
The Crisis & Resilience Fund Team Leader will lead the delivery of the Exeter Crisis & Resilience Service, providing operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred support to residents experiencing financial hardship, crisis and multiple disadvantage. The postholder will line manage Navigate's Client Liaison Officers and the Money Advice Caseworkers employed by partners Churches Housing Action Team (CHAT) and Encompass Southwest to ensure a seamless, coordinated service that supports individuals from immediate financial crisis through to long term resilience. As Navigate's operational lead for the contract, the Team Leader will foster strong partnership working, maintain effective communication across organisations and ensure clients experience a consistent 'No Wrong Door' approach. Alongside leadership responsibilities, the postholder will manage a small caseload of complex clients, delivering FCA-regulated debt advice, welfare benefits advice, advocacy and holistic financial resilience support. They will provide guidance and oversight for complex casework, ensuring clients receive timely, flexible interventions tailored to their individual circumstances.
The Team Leader will champion Wis£rmoney’s relationship-based, trauma-informed approach, recognising that financial hardship rarely exists in isolation. By supporting staff to build trusted relationships with clients, remove barriers to engagement and address the wider issues affecting financial wellbeing, the role will help residents achieve sustainable financial stability, independence and resilience. As a lived experience led organisation, we provide culturally competent, trauma informed and survivor centred support to women from migrant and racially minoritised communities affected by violence against women and girls. As part of the Safe Horizons London Partnership, funded by MOPAC and led by Victim Support, we deliver specialist advocacy and support for women from Latin American communities across London.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting survivors of domestic abuse to improve their safety, wellbeing and access to justice.
About the role
You will provide high quality advocacy, risk management and practical support to women experiencing domestic abuse. You will work closely with survivors to develop safety plans, navigate complex systems and access housing, legal, health and other specialist services.
You will represent survivors within multi agency settings including MARAC, build strong partnerships with statutory and voluntary sector organisations and contribute to community engagement and prevention activities.
