The role
Drive is a high risk / high harm domestic abuse perpetration intervention. Its sole aim is to reduce the risk posed by those using high levels of harm towards family members and / or (ex) partners. This is achieved via disruption, diversion and direct behaviour change work, where safe to do so, within a multi-agency framework.

The Team Leader will manage a small team of Case Managers and a reduced caseload.  You will assist the Service Manager in managing the Drive service to ensure high standards of practice in service delivery. You will provide leadership to the team and contribute to the development of the service. You will manage your own reduced caseload  working one-to-one with perpetrators who have been identified as high risk to pro-actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and connect with complementary services. To do this, you will work with local agencies to design a co-ordinated, strategic individual intervention plan to address identified needs and risks and promote understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours. However, it may not always be safe or possible to meet with the perpetrator. Equally as vital to risk reduction efforts is analysis of presenting information to identify ways to disrupt their abusive behaviour, alongside closeknit multiagency working to implement actions.

Throughout all intervention the Drive Team Leader will work closely with the local IDVA service to review risk, develop safety plans and improve outcomes for all parties involved.

About you

You’ll have a deep understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on clients and children, as well as the reasons behind abusive behaviours towards intimate partners.

Your knowledge extends to the range of statutory and voluntary agencies that clients and their children may encounter, and you are aware of the impact of domestic abuse on children and parenting, including the additional needs of clients from BMER communities.

You will have experience in working with clients on issues of domestic abuse, managing your own workload and administration, and assessing the risk and safety of your clients and those connected to your client.  You will have handled safeguarding disclosures and referrals, and you communicate clearly with a range of people both over the telephone and in person.

You will be organised, able to use your initiative, and work effectively as part of a multi-service team. Your administrative skills are strong, and you are adept at using a computer to maintain effective systems.

Flexible and able to travel independently. Additionally, you will understand trauma-informed practices, risk mitigation, and safeguarding. Experience liaising with social workers and other professionals, and in related areas such as substance misuse, child protection, or family support, is desirable.

About the role
OUTpatients is seeking an experienced Education and Policy Manager who can help us reach people all over the UK with our sector leading education and policy advisory. We encourage applicants who have prior experience working in small, developing teams and are able to balance taking initiative with close collaboration with other staff members.

You will lead on managing our education arm of the charity, continuing to deliver existing webinars and sessions on LGBTIQ+ inclusive cancer care, and explore development into new products, content, and audiences. You will work closely with stakeholders in the NHS, third sector, and industry.

Experience developing and delivering education sessions or programmes would be beneficial. You should also have a strong understanding of data-led educational content, and how intersectionality can be applied as a lens throughout our work.

Responsibilities
Education
• Delivering education sessions on LGBTIQ+ inclusive cancer care to healthcare professionals, charities, and other organisations.
• Attending and presenting at conferences and special meetings.
• Securing new education clients and project work through networking and outreach.
• Collecting and analysing evaluation data to report on and inform education outputs.
• Managing junior and session staff to support education delivery and reach.

Policy
• Keeping up to date with sector policy direction and announcements.

• Making recommendations to the CEO about areas of policy that the charity should try to influence.

• Attend and present at policy oriented meetings and events to promote data-led insights and recommendations for improved LGBTIQ+ cancer care.

Essential

About the Role

We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting young people who will be a key member of RF’s programme team. It’s an opportunity to develop skills, gain new experience and support RF across programme coordination, outreach and engagement and impact. You will play a key role in helping to plan, deliver, promote and evaluate the programme, making sure everything runs smoothly and ensuring RF young people have a great experience.

Key Contributions

Programme Coordination:

• Supporting the day-to-day coordination of RF’s programme and maintaining programme systems and processes including databases and spreadsheets
• Attending drop-in sessions and holiday activities to support the young people. Term time drop ins take place Wednesdays 5-7pm. Holiday drop-in sessions take place at different times. (Evening work will be time taken back in lieu)
• Acting as lead coordinator for RF’s mentoring programme

Outreach and Engagement:

• Supporting the Programme & Outreach Manager around communication with schools, hospitals and other stakeholders to build partnerships that promote growth of young people, including supporting to deliver assemblies, hold meetings and other external visits as required
• Acting as a confident and reliable point of contact for young people at RF, building positive, trusted relationships to encourage active participation on the programme
• Supporting with tracking and reporting the progress of each young person throughout their 3-year journey

Marketing & Communications:

• Developing and coordinating programme communications including social media content and marketing materials
• Collecting and writing stories and testimonials from the young people and their families to share impact
• Updating the website and digital content

General:

• Ad hoc projects as necessary

About You

You may already have experience in the charity sector, in youth work, or another related field, but most importantly you will have experience in project planning and coordination and really enjoyed it or are keen to build skills in this area and feel you would be good at it.

About the role

This Operations & Administration Coordinator role is a diverse and hands-on role, covering a wide range of tasks and responsibilities that are essential to the smooth, efficient running of the organisation. It's a part-time position for three days (21 hours) a week.

You will provide day‑to‑day operational coordination across IT systems, office management, finance administration and HR processes, alongside varied administrative support. Acting as a central point of contact, you will work closely with colleagues, external suppliers and advisors to ensure our working environment, systems, policies and processes are practical, compliant and support staff to do their best work.

The role works with all staff and external suppliers, particularly the Resilience Strategy Lead, Finance Officer, CEO and external IT support providers.

The Role

Reporting to the Associate Director of Technology, this role is responsible for ensuring the organisation’s infrastructure is fit for purpose and that the service desk delivers a responsive, high-quality service to users.

Do you have a passion for saving nature in the South West of England? This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the next phase of Nature South West (NSW)-a bold regional initiative accelerating large-scale nature recovery through collaboration, technical support, and investment readiness.

Hosted by the RSPB, and funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Project Manager will coordinate partners, manage the creation of investable propositions, engage with funders, oversee communications and events, and secure further funding. The ideal candidate will have experience in green finance, nature recovery policy, and multi-stakeholder project delivery. Due to the breadth of the work, the job will be exciting and varied, with a real opportunity to make a big difference to nature.

About Nature South West

The South West of England is rich in natural resources and has the potential to lead the UK in green technologies and nature-based solutions. Its economy is deeply intertwined with the health of its ecosystems, supporting industries like agriculture, tourism, fishing, and renewable energy.

However, the region is under significant pressure from the climate and biodiversity crises, which threaten both its environment and economy. Nature is often overlooked in financial decision-making, and restoration efforts are typically short-term and underfunded.

Nature South West (NSW) has emerged to fill this critical gap. Acting as a regional bridge between local delivery partners and large-scale funders, NSW will bring together expertise and project opportunities to define shared priorities for nature recovery. These priorities will be shaped into investible propositions that meet environmental, economic, and social needs, enabling projects to attract broader and more sustained funding.

NSW is initially focusing on two of the South West’s most vital natural systems: rivers and wetlands, and coastal and marine habitats. These landscapes are not only rich in biodiversity but also critical to the region’s resilience-supporting clean water, carbon storage, flood protection, and local livelihoods. By convening partners, sharing expertise, and championing investible nature recovery opportunities, NSW is positioning the South West as a national leader in nature-based solutions and unlocking new pathways for public and private investment.

Key areas of work will include:

• Responsibility for all aspects of project coordination and delivery of the Nature South West Project Plan, activities and outputs.
• Manage the project budget ensuring that necessary changes are escalated and approved.
• Engaging with stakeholders
• Identify, record, manage and communicate risks and issues, putting in place appropriate contingency actions where required.
• Managing the procurement and contractor tendering process for evaluation, website design/delivery and green finance specialist.
• Managing and overseeing consultants & contractors.
• Reporting and claiming - produce the relevant project documentation to meet the requirements of the RSPB, The National Lottery Heritage Fund, our partners and other funders.

What we need from you:

We’re seeking a dynamic and adaptable individual who can lead a complex programme with confidence and clarity.

Essential skills and experience:

• Energy, enthusiasm, and adaptability to deliver a multi-faceted programme on time and on budget
• Experience in project management, event coordination, and/or communications
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative
• Experience delivering large-scale, complex projects or programmes
• Knowledge of green finance, particularly in securing blended finance for large-scale environmental projects with co-benefits
• Experience with procurement, tendering, and contractor management
• Understanding of nature recovery priorities in policy and legislation, and how they apply in the South West
• Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver complex projects; knowledge of South West partners is desirable
• Experience writing business cases or funding bids, and overseeing project delivery and reporting
• Excellent communication skills and a well-organised approach to work

Additional Information

• This is a 24-month Full-Time role for 37.5 hours per week which is funded through the National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of the Nature South West programme.
• Reports to: The RSPB, with operational guidance provided by the Nature South West Board, comprising representatives of Natural England, the Environment Agency, National Trust, Blackdown Hills National landscape, NFU, Devon Wildlife Trust, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Nature Partnership.

We need someone to:

• Provide strategic digital leadership and implement our digital roadmap and report on digital developments across the organisation.
• Take overall responsibility for the effective running of the charity’s digital function, including the maintenance, development and growth of our digital channels and platforms to meet our audience’s needs and department goals and KPIs.
• Lead digital transformation within the organisation by proactively identifying and responding to emerging trends and technologies (with a particular focus on AI), horizon scanning and future-proofing our digital channels to ensure we are in the strongest possible position to respond to future changes.

About You 

• Experience of overseeing the smooth-running of the digital function within an organisation and providing ongoing digital support to internal teams.
• Experience of leading, developing and line-managing a small team
• Experience of developing and implementing digital strategies across all channels: SEO/GEO, SEM, content marketing, owned social, paid social, PPC, email marketing.

Therapeutic Management

• To manage and support a staff team, including the Head of Active Recovery, a Counselling Lead, Nexus Counselling Manager, a Family Support Group Facilitator, and administrators.

• To oversee all of the charity’s therapeutic services and ensure that efficient and high-quality services are delivered.

• To be the charity’s Designated Safeguarding Lead to respond effectively and efficiently to safeguarding concerns.

• To ensure staff are sufficiently trained in adult and child safeguarding and that training records are kept up-to-date.

• To oversee the charity’s pre-trial therapy processes and be a point of contact for the police.

• To attend monthly one-to-one clinical supervision with a supervisor approved by the Southmead Project. (Supervision is a requirement of this charity as members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).

• To attend monthly one-to-one line management meetings.

• To work to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy ethical guidelines.

• To work within the framework, spirit and ethos of the Southmead Project’s Equal Opportunities Policy, and actively engage in promoting the policy within the charity and in all dealings with clients and other agencies.

Person Specification

ESSENTIAL:

• Diploma in Counselling (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited course or equivalent); and to have BACP accreditation or be working towards BACP accreditation or equivalent.

• To be a registered member of BACP, UKCP, NCS or equivalent professional body, with over 5 years of supervised counselling experience.

• Significant experience of providing one-to-one counselling for survivors of abuse and carrying out initial assessments and risk assessments.

• Significant knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting this client group and the impact of trauma.

• Significant line management and appraisal experience with the ability to effectively co-ordinate a team. 

• The ability to support staff to foster a positive working environment and deliver a high quality of service.

• Experience of recruiting staff, including inductions and training.

• Experience of managing safeguarding concerns and supporting others to act in accordance with safeguarding policies and in the best interests of the client or those at risk. 

• The ability to work with clients online or by phone.

• Experience of working collaboratively as part of a leadership team and ability to contribute to an organisation’s future development.

• Experience of developing and maintaining working relationships with partner agencies and professionals. 

• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
