Zoe's Place Baby Hospice was founded in Liverpool in 1995 as the first hospice in the UK specifically providing for the needs of babies and younger children. Our team of specialist nurses and healthcare assistants are supported by a wide range of other healthcare professionals to provide respite care, therapies and bereavement care to babies and children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families.

In late 2024 the people of Liverpool, the North West, and even further afield helped us to raise more than £7,000,000 to secure the future of our hospice, and to build a state-of-the-art new facility in West Derby.

As work begins on our new hospice facility, our dedicated team continues to deliver specialised care from our existing site, and our team of fundraising, marketing, finance, compliance and administration professionals work hard to keep the charity operating smoothly.

This is a rare opportunity to join our dynamic and successful team as the head of our Income Generation and Marketing function. This role enhances the previous role of Head of Fundraising to be responsible for the overall income generation for the hospice, and the key role for the Head of Income Generation is to maintain a sustainable level of fundraising by increasing the income from paid placements through our relationships with Health Trusts and Councils in Merseyside and Cheshire in particular.

Primary location of role

This role is primarily based in our Glasgow office.  Our hybrid working model allows you to work up to 3 days per week at home.   Regular travel will be required to meet supporters in your region, as well as occasional travel to our London or Sheffield offices.

Role purpose

The purpose of this role is to support the National Programme Team with the implementation of operational plans that deliver successful national skills competitions. Summary of terms and conditions

· The salary for this role is £28,000.

The role

The Finance Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring Action Together remains financially robust, sustainable, and compliant as a charity and employer. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will partner closely with the CEO and Board to shape a resilient business model, strengthen financial governance, and provide strategic direction that supports our mission and values.

You will lead and develop a high performing finance function, oversee annual budgeting and long‑term financial planning, and ensure high‑quality financial insight is available to the CEO, SLT and Board. The role

Operating within the Finance and Performance Directorate, as Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will lead the Finance Business Partner and Senior Management Accounts team. You will develop the financial planning and analysis capabilities of the team that will better support financial decision making across the organisation and effective risk management.  You will lead on The National Archives' financial planning through Spending Reviews and Fiscal Events; ensuring these are reflected and managed internally through budgets, efficiencies and multi-year business planning.

This is an exciting opportunity to join RCR Learning as our Digital Learning Production Scheduler, playing a central role in delivering high quality digital learning experiences for clinical radiologists and clinical oncologists across the globe.

We are building a world class digital learning library that supports doctors at every stage of their careers strengthening professional development, improving clinical practice, and ultimately enhancing patient care.

To help us achieve this, we’re looking for a proactive and detail driven production specialist who can bring clarity, structure and momentum to our digital learning production workflows. As our Digital Learning Production Scheduler, you will own the end to end production lifecycle of multiple digital learning resources: from scoping and scheduling through development, quality assurance and release.

What you’ll be doing

• Plan, track and coordinate digital learning production across multiple projects
• Keep schedules and trackers up to date, ensuring everyone has a clear view of deadlines, dependencies and risks
• Work closely with our Learning Designers, Digital Content Developers, SMEs and Project Leads to keep delivery on track
• Maintain strong production processes — intake, prioritisation, reviews, approvals and release
• Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks and slippage, working with the Digital Learning Manager and Project Manager to keep projects moving
• Support rigorous quality assurance, version control and release management
• Ensure learning resources are published accurately and consistently to our LMS
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, documentation and production standards
• This is a hands on, highly collaborative role at the heart of our digital learning operation.

What you'll need

• Proven experience coordinating digital learning or e learning production, from planning to publication
• Confidence managing multiple concurrent workflows with clarity and composure
• Strong organisational and scheduling skills — you love a good tracker
• Experience supporting QA processes, media checks and issue tracking
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work smoothly with a wide range of stakeholders
• A highly detail oriented approach and commitment to maintaining consistent standards
• Confidence using project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, Jira, Teams or SharePoint

About us

TALK Surrey CIO is a small local charity dedicated to supporting people affected by stroke and aphasia, an acquired language and communication difficulty. People with aphasia can often feel isolated and lose their confidence.  We provide group activities, home visits, and community services designed to improve quality of life and foster social connections.  Our team of trained volunteers and two existing part-time staff provide an inclusive and supportive group environment for our members to practise their communication skills, share experiences and enjoy each others' company.

We are seeking a dynamic, compassionate Head of Charity to be responsible for leading our organisation, ensuring our services are high-quality, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of our members.  You would be responsible for the overall leadership, management and development of TALK, including thinking ahead to expand our range of services. You will ensure the charity is well governed, financially sustainable and delivering high-quality, person-centred services aligned to its mission.

You would work closely with Trustees, staff, volunteers, members and other stakeholders to shape the charity’s future, strengthen partnerships, and ensure effective service delivery.

About you

Ideally you will have: 

• Experience in managing or leading a small organisation, charity or service.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience developing and improving services based on user need and evidence.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience supporting, supervising or managing staff and/or volunteers.

Experience working in the voluntary or charity sector and an understanding of charity governance, compliance and accountability would be desirable, as would some knowledge of stroke, aphasia or related health and social care services. 2. Support financial resource management by helping to monitor and control assets, reserves, funds, and supplies in alignment with IOM policies and regulations.

3. Verify vendor claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial guidelines.

4. Assist in the preparation of annual budgeting submission and revisions, including preparing estimating staff costs, and forecasting expenses such as utilities, office operations, and services.

5. Extract, input, and maintain financial data across various accounting and finance systems.

6. Assist in providing guidance to colleagues on accounting, budgeting, and financial matters when needed.

7. Assist in payroll preparation by conducting accuracy and validity checks on monthly payroll results.

8. Perform claim validations against documentation to confirm that that all purchases and services are properly authorized and received.

9. Support reporting activities, including the preparation of financial, budgetary, statistical, and other operational reports.

10. Provide administrative support for staff services such as travel arrangements, expense claims, and document retrieval.
