We protect children by working with people who pose a risk and diverting them from causing harm. We support individuals and families who have been affected by abuse. And we help professionals who work with families to create safer environments for children through delivering risk assessments, interventions, training and consultancy.
About the role and you
This is a strategic and hands-on role in our fast-paced, collaborative communications and advocacy team. You’ll lead the charity’s digital presence, overseeing our websites, paid media, and digital projects, to ensure they drive reach, engagement, and measurable impact.
You’ll manage relationships with external developers and agencies, lead on the digital strategy and performance, and support colleagues across the organisation to improve our digital presence.
This role is central to delivering our mission to prevent child sexual abuse.
You’ll be energetic, proactive and innovative, with a strong track record in managing websites and be confident in gathering and using data and analytics to evaluate and improve performance.
You’ll also be comfortable working across multiple projects and with a range of stakeholders - from internal teams to external agencies.

What the job involves
The Education Team at Prostate Cancer UK delivers high-quality education for health professionals involved in prostate cancer care, supporting their development through face to face and online engagement, regular clinical updates and collaborative work across the organisation. We also partner with teams and external stakeholders to help increase engagement and reach, ensuring healthcare professionals feel informed, connected and equipped to support men and their families.
As an Education Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in making this happen. You’ll help organise and deliver healthcare professional education events and conferences across the UK, working closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure everything runs smoothly. You’ll also provide support to our digital communications, helping to build our marketing emails, healthcare professionals webpages and social media, so our work reaches the right audience.
Alongside this, you’ll provide essential day-to-day support to the team. This includes coordinating meetings and events, managing inbox enquiries, arranging travel, handling financial processes and keeping our systems and processes up to date. You’ll also help track and report on our impact, and lead on projects like the People’s Choice Award. What we want from you
We’re looking for an Education Coordinator who is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities, using their initiative to keep work moving forward. You’ll have strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a good eye for detail to ensure accuracy and consistency across your work.
You’ll be comfortable working with systems and processes, including maintaining spreadsheets, monitoring data and supporting financial activities. Experience of using digital communication channels such as social media or email newsletters is helpful but not essential, as well as the ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues and external suppliers. You’ll be able to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to changing priorities where needed.
An interest in supporting healthcare professionals and improving outcomes for men affected by prostate cancer is important for this role. Experience in, or understanding of, the health or voluntary sector would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.

The job
We're looking for a digital leader. To us, that means you’ll be able to advise clients on how to align their digital presence with their organisational goals. You’ll know what good looks like, and you’ll have the interpersonal skills to explain and convince others of your views.
Ever-curious, you’re the kind of person that is always looking for opportunities to make digital deliver for clients. You'll have an instinctive sense of what will (and won't) work on various platforms (websites, data platforms, Substacks, etc.), how they should complement each other and what it means to build an engaged online audience.
You'll have that instinct because you've done it before: you know how to set digital/design KPIs and manage a team to meet those targets; you’ve run enough website build processes to do it in your sleep, and you know how to identify things a client should do, and explain to them why they should invest in doing them.
You’ll have a number of responsibilities from day one. You’ll take over advising our largest digital clients and be responsible for supporting them in their mission.
You’ll be the new business lead for any strategy projects that require digital infrastructure – that means identifying what needs to change, writing those ideas into proposals, and pitching them. And you will own the digital roadmap for client content-led platforms, ensuring that the content isn’t just ‘published’ but drives audience growth.
You’ll be managing a team of developers to ensure the final product delivers on the strategic vision. While you may have a technical background, it’s worth being clear that this is not a technical role and we are not looking for exclusively technical candidates.
The challenge
Our clients work in the front line of campaigning to make the world a better place. Their websites are often the first thing funders and policymakers will check to see how legitimate or credible an organisation is. Nothing kills credibility faster than a website that loads slowly, categorises content in a way that no-one outside the organisation understands, or a site where the design is just… bad.
The challenge is that too many policy websites prioritise internal audiences over external. Rather than thinking “what does policymaker X need to see?”, the question is “what do senior management want to see on the website?” This leads to websites that are an output in themselves, rather than websites that lead to outcomes.
Your job is to ensure that all our digital workstreams avoid that trap; that they prioritise outcomes (hard to do), over simple outputs (anyone can do).
What we are looking for:
Someone who prizes outcomes over outputs, and knows how to adapt their approach to achieve best results.
Clear leadership of a digital function–in a consultancy, a nonprofit, or another relevant organisation.
A consultative approach: you’re able to identify problems, solutions and opportunities, and convince others of your point of view.
Commercial and revenue management experience.
Experience managing a team, and an understanding of how to get the best out of different types of people in that team.
An understanding of the policy landscape and know how to use digital platforms to move the needle with policymakers, media, and other stakeholders.

The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and creative Communications and Brand Manager (Partnerships) to join a small, friendly and ambitious team in a varied role with genuine opportunity for development and impact. The Communications and Brand Manager (Partnerships) is primarily fundraising focused, delivering compelling communications strategies to support individual giving, fundraising events and our growing number of Corporate Partnerships, including Sky, Co-op, National Grid, OVO, Cadent, UKPN, Barratt Redrow and SGN. The role will specialise in maximising brand impact and income-raising potential.
The role sits within the growing Communications Team, which is led by the Director of Communications and includes the Communications Manager and Communications Assistant.
Reporting to the Director of Communications, the postholder will play a key role in telling the Warm Welcome Story for positive change, raising awareness to grow the brand and creating campaign strategies to support income generation.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, agile and collaborative, whilst bringing creativity and initiative to their work. Relationship building will be key, working with a wide variety of high-profile corporate partners, stakeholders and ambassadors. You will be an excellent brand champion with the skills to develop stand out creative ideas for partnership campaigns, awareness campaigns and activations. While the role is primarily fundraising focused, you will support the delivery of the wider Warm Welcome Communications Strategy.
In this role, you will work across all aspects of communications strategy including, PR, events, brand asset development, storytelling, digital marketing, and campaigns.

As our Website Manager, you’ll help accelerate our work by championing the use of our website as a key channel in The Charity. You’ll lead on development and optimisation so that it can support acquisition, engagement, conversion and retention of users across Fundraising, Support, Policy and Research. Overseeing the work of a small team, you'll manage a programme of user experience and conversion rate optimisation work, plan and analyse user journeys and web personalisation, and devise and execute our SEO strategy. Your friendly personality will enable you to build strong relationships with your colleagues across The Charity so you can work together to ensure our content and user experience are well optimised and delivering those all-important results. You’ll be a valued member of our Marketing team, made up of technical experts who make sure all our community receive the very best experience and support.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
A skilled communicator, with strong project management skills, you’ll be the trusted voice of the website across the Charity. Your in-depth experience of developing and optimising a website using evidence from multiple sources, including Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, server side tracking and audience/UX research will enable you to thrive in this role. Lack of awareness, stigma and discrimination in society, and a lack of action by decision makers, has stalled hepatitis healthcare worldwide. As a result, 287 million people are living with the virus, but only a small fraction know.
We are looking for someone to position WHA and the hepatitis cause within the global health landscape.
