Job description

Help to turn inside knowledge into a powerful lever for corporate accountability.

Inside Track is hiring a Senior Campaigns Manager to ensure that valuable Insider insight successfully reaches and resonates with those who have the most power to act on it.

There are millions of people going to work each day with a sense that they are, in some way, working against the world they want to live in. They may know what needs to change and have ideas about how change could happen, but lack a safe and credible route through which to act.

Inside Track creates that route. We build confidential movements of senior professionals inside powerful industries, giving them protected spaces to share what they see. Their insight helps key stakeholders understand the cultures, structures, norms and incentives creating negative social and environmental outcomes, and apply targeted pressure to redress these.

The Senior Campaigns Manager plays a key role in this work. You will work across multiple industries, providing strategic input on the timing, medium, and narrative of campaigns, ensuring that they resonate with their target audience and effectively create the environment for change to happen.

This is not a standard campaigning role. Each industry group and each issue raised will demand an entirely different approach and may have a different pathway to impact, which will likely be complex, indirect, and long-term. You will need to be a highly strategic thinker, bold in vision and comfortable in uncertainty.

Inside Track is growing quickly. For the right person, this role offers a unique chance to establish the Insider voice as a key lever for accountability at a time of deep societal volatility and growing corporate power.

Who this could suit

We are looking for someone with significant experience in building campaigns with a successful NGO, who can take our impact to the next level. Specifically, we are hoping you will have:

  • at least 5 years’ relevant professional experience, with at least 2 years’ managing campaigns for a successful NGO;
  • a track record of creating impact through compelling campaigns;
  • a strategic eye, with strong judgement on power, timing, tone and risk;
  • strong creative intuition, with a sense of what medium and message appeals to what group;
  • understanding of when and how media engagement creates value;
  • deeply collaborative, with a desire to build strong relationships both internally and externally;
  • the ability to communicate complex, sensitive and high-leverage work clearly;
  • a serious and demonstrable commitment to social and environmental change;
  • comfortable self-starting and working through uncertainty without a complete playbook;
  • discretion when handling sensitive work;
  • warm, curious, resilient, high conviction and low ego.

A working understanding of the structures and incentives which underpin major economic sectors would be useful but not essential.

Key details

  • Contract type: Full-time.
  • Working pattern: 4 days per week.
  • Salary: £50,000 pro rata.
  • Location: London based hybrid working with ability to work in person 2-3 days per week.
  • Deadline for applications: 12pm Monday 24th August.

A note on inclusion and culture

We are all here because we believe deeply in this work and its potential to create a better world and we hope that our culture reflects this passion for and commitment to doing the right thing.

We are committed to building a team that reflects a wide range of experiences, backgrounds and perspectives and supports team members to grow.

The successful candidate will receive professional coaching and support, alongside substantial ownership and genuine flexibility in their working pattern.

If you are not sure whether you tick every box, but feel excited about the work, we strongly encourage you to apply.

We particularly welcome candidates from backgrounds underrepresented in traditional campaigning and systems change roles — including people of colour, disabled candidates, and those from working-class or non-traditional paths.

Please note that to be considered for this post, you must be legally eligible to work in the UK. We are unfortunately unable to hire anyone that isn’t already living in the UK, nor are we able to sponsor visas.
