The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) is seeking a Head of Membership to lead and develop the RCSLT’s membership function, ensuring cohesive delivery across membership operations, member support and member journeys.

The role
The Membership Team delivers an indispensable, personalised and insight‑driven experience. Our vision is for every therapist to feel supported, connected and valued through exceptional service. We empower members at all stages of their careers by linking them to the right resources and communities and supporting them through key transitions. We own and lead the Member Value Proposition (MVP) to ensure members feel they receive strong value for money, protecting the organisation’s core income stream.
Reporting to Director of Membership and Communications, the post holder has delegated authority for operational membership decision‑making, acting as the organisational steward of the Member Value Proposition and representing member needs across the organisation. The post holder is to lead and develop the RCSLT’s membership function, ensuring cohesive delivery across membership operations, member support and member journeys.
The role is also responsible for implementing a clear, insight‑informed membership plan that supports retention, value for money and the effective delivery of the organisation’s core membership fee income stream, ensuring high‑quality experiences and strong cross‑organisational alignment.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a strategic and collaborative Head of Membership who can lead and evolve our membership and engagement function. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of membership lifecycle management, value proposition development and insight-led decision-making, with the ability to translate data into clear priorities and improved member experiences. They will have proven experience leading teams and managing people in a fast-paced, changing environment and working cross-functionally to achieve organisational goals. Confidence in using and championing CRM systems as a core organisational asset is essential, alongside a solid understanding of data protection and GDPR.
The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator and influencer, able to present recommendations to senior leadership and build strong stakeholder relationships. They will be skilled in driving digital adoption, supporting teams through change and embedding continuous improvement approaches. A calm, structured and solutions-focused mindset is key, as is a commitment to a member-centred approach and high-quality service delivery, including oversight of complaints processes.

As demand for the MRCPsych CASC examination continues to increase, we are recruiting to two complementary coordinator roles within the Examinations team: Examinations Co‑ordinator (Resources) and Examinations Co-ordinator (CASC). Together, these posts will play a vital role in ensuring the effective planning, development and delivery of the CASC examination in the UK and internationally.
The MRCPsych Examinations Co‑ordinator (Resources) will focus on examiner management, resources and logistics. Reporting to the CASC Operations Manager, the post holder will manage the coordination of the Board of Examiners, including recruitment, training, allocation and communication with all our examiners. The role also involves sourcing and managing venues, suppliers and other resources, maintaining examination systems and databases, and providing operational support on examination days.
The Examinations Co-ordinator (CASC) is a newly created role designed to strengthen capacity in CASC development and quality assurance activity. Reporting to the CASC Development Manager, the post holder will support the development, piloting and quality assurance of CASC scenarios, coordinate development events such as writing days and panel meetings, and assist with exam build, testing and post‑exam activity. The role also provides hands‑on support during CASC delivery, working closely with colleagues, examiners and role players.

In 2024 we opened our second building The Regeneration Shop - a volunteer-led repair and reuse space providing opportunities for residents to develop practical skills, reduce waste and build confidence. We have a team of 11 staff and every year work with over 200 volunteers.

The Senior Programmes Manager will work closely with our Senior Finance & Commercial Manager to provide leadership for Chopwell Regeneration Group (CRG), reporting to the Board of Trustees. They will lead on strategy, planning and delivery for all programmes, working with board, staff and volunteers, and external partners to ensure activities are achievable, properly resourced, financially sustainable, impactful and effectively evaluated.

The Role:
As our Fundraising Officer, you will work closely with the Fundraising Manager to deliver our fundraising strategy. You will help deliver annual fundraising events; bid to corporate supporters, trusts and foundations; and build strong relationships with community organisations and individual donors. You will be part of a fantastic team, dedicated to making a real difference in defeating homelessness.
We are looking for a passionate and adaptable individual, who can support the Fundraising Manager across all voluntary income streams, from formal bids to fun community events.
This role is especially crucial as our charity’s need for fundraised income has risen significantly in the last three years - as result of the increased cost of living, and reduced support from the local authority. We are recruiting for three Funding Officers, one permanent and two 12-month fixed term contract roles to join our Funding team in Wales.

You will join our friendly team and work alongside our colleagues in Wales and across the UK. Depending on your location and preference, you can work from home or a combination of home working and office working in our Newtown or Cardiff offices.
As a funding officer you will assess requests for funding and manage grants using local knowledge, best practice, thematic expertise, and the experience of customers and stakeholders to improve our grant making and inform our decision making. By working closely with people and communities, you will understand what matters to them and where our funding can make the biggest difference.
You will be responsible for supporting local people and communities across Wales, and have a strong understanding of our vision, being able to adapt your approach to the wishes of the people you are working with. You’ll also need to support our stakeholders, helping them to make connections that will help them achieve their goals.
You will be responsible for the pipeline of projects, understanding and responding to the different needs of our customers by providing advice and considered feedback, and be willing to have challenging but constructive conversations. Funding Officers will ensure our grant management and assessment play an effective part in contributing to the Fund’s knowledge and learning as a grant maker. You will manage your own caseload, liaise with grant recipients, undertake project visits, identify and manage risk, supporting organisations to deliver their projects and measure their impact.

We’re looking for an experienced Payroll & Systems Manager to take ownership of payroll governance and HR/payroll systems for an organisation of around 350 staff, spanning salaried, hourly, and casual contracts. Payroll is outsourced, but this role is very much hands-on. You’ll be the expert voice in the room, the bridge between People & Culture, Finance, and our payroll provider, and the lead on shaping better, smarter systems for the future. This is a full-time role however part-time may be considered for the right candidate.
What you’ll be doing
Owning the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full UK statutory compliance
Acting as the internal payroll specialist, confidently reviewing calculations, deductions, pensions, and statutory payments
Managing payroll inputs for variable hours and timesheet-based staff
Building a strong, effective relationship with our outsourced payroll provider and holding service standards high
