Job description

Director of Operations

Gordon Moody

Location: Hybrid – regular presence across Redditch, Wolverhampton & Dudley, with national travel as required

Salary: £80,200 – £85,082

Gordon Moody is the UK’s leading charity supporting people experiencing the most severe gambling-related harms. Demand for our services continues to grow, and with our new 28‑bed Redditch treatment centre, expanded digital pathways and an evolving Model of Care, we are entering a pivotal and ambitious phase.

We are now seeking a Director of Operations who will play a central role in shaping the future of our services and ensuring we deliver high‑quality, person‑centred support across residential, community and digital pathways. This is a key executive role at the heart of the organisation, responsible for operational excellence, service performance, regulatory compliance and the delivery of NHS England KPIs.

Collaborative, values‑driven and motivated by purpose, you will work closely with the CEO, Clinical Director and wider Executive Team to ensure our services remain responsive, sustainable and aligned to the changing commissioning landscape. You will bring senior operational leadership experience from a regulated therapeutic, clinical or addiction‑related environment, with the ability to lead teams through change, integrate innovation and maintain the highest standards of care.

If you are inspired by the opportunity to make a profound difference and want your leadership to directly improve recovery outcomes for people affected by gambling harm, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Closing Date – 9am on Monday 27th July 2026
