Change jobs
Are you looking for a life mission and a rewarding career where you can help find ways of tackling social and environmental problems in the UK and globally? Do you want to change the world and people’s lives?
Bridges Outcomes Partnerships is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are intellectually curious and understand the value of how collaborative design, flexible delivery and clear accountability can contribute to achieving a positive social, health and environmental impact.
Bridges Outcomes Partnerships is a mission-driven not-for-profit social enterprise. We work with Government, community groups and specialist partners to design and deliver vital services that support people to improve their lives, in areas ranging from education and wellbeing to housing, employment and environmental protection.
Bridges Outcomes Partnerships is a not-for-profit subsidiary of Bridges Fund Management, a specialist impact-driven fund manager. Over the last decade, we have had the privilege of working on 100+ outcomes contracts, supporting over 1,400,000 people, delivering £200m+ worth of outcomes across the globe and creating £1.9bn+ of public value in the UK
There is a strong case for expanding Social Outcomes Partnerships in the UK and other high-income countries: Needs in our communities are increasingly complex and interconnected. Traditional service provision and delivery often struggle to tackle wicked social problems. There has been an unprecedented rise in referrals to children social care, populations who are experiencing homelessness, people managing multiple chronic conditions, facing domestic abuse challenges in their households, and many other multi-faceted issues. Public resources are stretched – making long-term holistic funding for comprehensive services challenging. Traditional input-based models often fail to improve lives of communities and achieve poor value for public money. This is why Social Outcomes Partnerships can be part of the solution – offering holistic, localised, and personalised solutions with our communities. With more than fifteen years of experience, Bridges Outcomes Partnerships can play a role in galvanising more outcomes-based approaches, creating long-term impact through accountability, collaborative design, and flexible delivery while achieving better value for money for outcomes payers.
The role of Bridges Outcomes Partnerships spans project development (working with outcome funders and others to design and launch the delivery), partnership coordination, project and delivery management (coordinating the delivery phase and liaising with the various stakeholders) and project finance (sourcing social investment to fund the project until it starts to earn outcomes payments). Our own funding comes from a group of pioneering social investors, including The Office for Civil Society, Better Society Capital, UBS Optimus Foundation, Pilotlight, Trust for London, who, like us, are motivated by improving lives and changing the system for the better.
In the year to come, we are focused on growing our direct and systemic impact nationally and internationally, and we are incredibly excited about your help on this journey!
We would love to hear from you if you are:
· Curious, analytical, highly numerate, and great at solving problems
· Exceptional at building strong working relationships with team members and across a range of stakeholders
· Flexible and adaptable team player with a can-do attitude
· Able to undertake a variety of activities with a substantial degree of personal responsibility and autonomy
About the opportunity:
We are looking for someone exceptional to join our team as we build new projects and partnerships.
As a Social Investment Manager, you will work on the outcomes contracts activity in both the UK and other high-income countries. You will develop new projects and partnerships along with ongoing management of the existing portfolio.
Here’s a taste of what you’ll do:
> Initiate and execute the development of outcomes partnerships opportunities: Identifying and engaging with challenges faced by central and local government and delivery partners to develop impactful delivery models which tackle those challenges.
> Lead on the implementation of a full project lifecycle of an outcomes-based project and a portfolio of outcomes partnerships, including tasks such as leading on initial assessment and investment processes in project development, developing outcome contract models, leading operational and financial analysis, managing complete legal negotiations and documentation processes.
> Innovating in our delivery: Proactively engaging with key stakeholders to develop and implement delivery innovations while considering any key assumptions around operations, impact, and finance; supporting teams to solve problems using first principles. This includes working with delivery partners to help create the best possible impact in sustainable ways, by identifying issues and opportunities, initiating projects, and developing delivery innovations.
> Creating and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships: Engage in strong rapport-building with commissioners, outcome funders, and delivery partner teams; identify best delivery team structure for our internal operational teams; and contribute to social investor meetings to present project and market development activities.
Key attributes we are looking for:
> A genuine passion to drive social change: We are constantly searching for new ways to dramatically change the status quo. This requires someone with excellent attention to detail and who will demonstrate the ability to lead on impact and value creation.
> Ability to deliver more than the system expects: We believe that more is possible than the current system is achieving, and we need to demonstrate this in practice. This requires tenacity and relentless optimism.
> Ability to think differently: We will not succeed by copying existing models or structures. Our projects and investments all require the team to think through each problem from first principles and find the most effective and efficient new solution in each case. This requires logic, analytical rigour, and a willingness to question assumptions. It also requires the desire to work in a dynamic environment, along with the ability to be solutions-focused and work in a small team.
> Ability to build and maintain trust: We aim for the edge of what we believe is possible, from ourselves and our partners; this can only be achieved through mutual trust. Everything we do must be open to scrutiny and full transparency. This requires excellent interpersonal skills and absolute integrity.
> A self-starter comfortable working through complexity and co-ordinating diverse sets of stakeholders against tight deadlines and competing priorities.
Suitable candidates will have:
> 7+ years of experience working in social investment, financial and senior operational roles within the VCSE sector, management consulting, public sector delivery, or similar sectors.
> Excellent financial and modelling skills, with extensive experience in supporting the development of comprehensive business/financial plans.
> Strong delivery and investment, advisory and/or operational track record.
> Higher degree level education or equivalent experience.
> Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at working with multiple stakeholders.
> Experience supporting the development of comprehensive value creation strategies.
> Strong strategic, commercial and entrepreneurial judgement.
> Experience of working with government partners to develop social change projects is desirable.
> Experience of the social sector is desirable.
> Experience of impact investing is desirable.
> Experience working on projects tackling developmental challenges, preferably in areas like education, health and employment is desirable.
> Dutch language skills are desirable (as this role is anticipated to work on an outcomes partnerships in the Netherlands).
Safeguarding Commitment: As part of Bridges, you will help create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for everyone we interact with. We believe safeguarding is a shared responsibility, where all colleagues play an active role in promoting wellbeing, identifying safeguarding concerns, and working together to ensure these are addressed promptly and respectfully. This includes maintaining professional boundaries, reporting concerns promptly in line with organisational policies, and completing all required safeguarding training. All colleagues must remain vigilant, model safe practices, and contribute to a culture where people are valued, listened to and where safety, dignity, and wellbeing are prioritised at all times.
Data Protection Commitment
As part of Bridges, you will play an important role in protecting the privacy, rights, and personal information of the people we support, our colleagues, and our partners. We expect all team members to handle data with care, respect, and confidentiality, following our organisational policies and the requirements of data protection legislation. This includes using information appropriately, storing and sharing it securely, and reporting any concerns or breaches promptly. You will be supported with training and guidance to help you contribute to a culture where trust, transparency, and responsible data practices are embedded in our services and decision making.

Working towards a promotion to Manager within 6 months, you will then also provide leadership to the Preston office team, being responsible for the management and Recruitment Consultant responsibilities for 70% of your role.
Purpose
We place people with convictions into paid work, so they can build purposeful lives and see their families thrive
Mission
We do this by providing practical employment support, linking them to companies with good jobs
Vision
A society where people’s past convictions don’t define their employment future
Duties and Tasks
There are four main areas of work, all of which are vital to achieving the key positive outcome for the individuals we support: sustained meaningful employment.
1. New Employer Engagement
Expanding our network of employers to generate a regular flow of job opportunities, allowing us to place our candidates into work.
This will require new business development and excellent ongoing relationship management. You will identify which jobs are most sought after by our typical candidates and which are more specialist or occasional opportunities. Equally, you will gravitate towards employers who demonstrate agility and responsiveness in their hiring processes. Your client contacts are more likely to be business owners, divisional managers and site supervisors than social value or EDI teams.
You will:
- Proactively approach local employers who are advertising paid jobs that could suit current candidates on our books, for example through online searching using keywords for skills and industry sectors, sending over candidate details with the goal of obtaining recruitment instructions and securing interviews.
- Speculatively approach organisations that are not currently recruiting but are likely to have suitable vacancies in the future that match the typical skillsets of our candidates.
- Maintain a follow-up database of active and prospective clients and take ownership of industry sectors or geographical areas, in consultation with colleagues, to avoid duplication and maximise reach.
- Visit employers to explain our services, answer questions around protocols for interviewing or hiring ex-offenders and gain a clear understanding of the workplace environment, travel routes and employer requirements.
- Select and submit candidates who you consider suitable for vacancies, advocating for each individual based on your knowledge of them, their references, and the positive changes and efforts you have witnessed.
- Be prepared to positively challenge employer assumptions where you believe reluctance to consider a candidate is unfounded.
- Disclose the candidate’s offending history and risk profile, emphasising their personal attributes and work strengths.
- Guide employers through the interview and hiring process in close consultation with the candidate.
2. Job Finder Support
Interviewing ex-offenders, offering one-to-one job coaching to help them into work and providing ongoing mentoring during their first 12 months of employment.
Ours is a face-to-face, holistic and wraparound service that culminates in our candidates finding good jobs that last, with a wide array of socially inclusive employers. Our job finder support can begin in custody and continue through the gate into the community, or start within the community. Typically, we work with an individual for between one and three months to establish work readiness and continue supporting them for up to a year after they secure employment. Many people remain in touch and return to us for subsequent jobs over a period of years, and we consider our door to always be open.
You will:
- Conduct one-to-one assessments with job-seeking candidates and, using your professional judgement, either accept them directly into our paid-work search services or refer them to partner organisations for pre-employability support where barriers such as substance misuse or homelessness remain significant.
- Work with candidates over several weeks and months as a job mentor, meeting regularly to support all aspects of their job search.
- Help craft effective CVs and disclosure letters, ensuring candidates understand the facts and disclosure obligations relating to their spent and unspent convictions.
- Check that candidates have the correct Right to Work documentation and arrange replacement birth certificates and National Insurance letters where required.
- Book candidates onto relevant third-party training courses, including CSCS cards, HGV driver training and renewable energy qualifications.
- Encourage candidates’ own job search activity, including teaching them how to use online job boards and supporting them to complete online application forms.
- Submit candidates for opportunities available through our network of inclusive employers and proactively seek additional vacancies on their behalf.
- Organise interviews, ensuring candidates have the means to travel and appropriate interview clothing, providing support where required.
- Follow up after interviews, helping candidates manage expectations, process outcomes and rebuild confidence where applications have been unsuccessful.
- Confirm job starts with both candidate and employer, ensuring candidates have access to any required workwear and support with travel-to-work costs.
- Provide practical support where needed, including food parcels, hygiene packs, pre-loaded SIM cards, clothing and utility top-ups.
In-Work Support
After employment begins, there can often be unforeseen challenges facing newly employed candidates, particularly recent prison leavers. These may be practical, emotional or lifestyle-related. The strongest opportunity to advocate for a candidate and help sustain employment comes from having built trusted relationships with both the individual and their employer.
You will:
- Advise employers on successfully onboarding new employees during their first few weeks and months in work.
- Help employers understand and accommodate any additional support needs, such as housing transitions, medical requirements or probation appointments.
- Be aware of and navigate any negative Google or media reporting about a candidate’s previous offending, including advising on measures to protect privacy and reputation where appropriate.
- Remain in regular contact with candidates during their first 12 months in employment through check-in calls and meetings.
- Record all candidate and employer interactions and outcome reporting on the Itris recruitment CRM database.
3. Management of the Preston Team (Within Six Months)
You will:
- Line manage and develop the Preston office’s Recruitment Consultants, Trainee Recruitment Consultants and Resourcer, leading by example across business development and candidate support activities.
- Run the Preston office efficiently and effectively, ensuring the charity can carry out its work and, alongside the Operations Director, help develop, agree and implement business, operational and annual plans.
- Identify appropriate methods for monitoring office performance and report regularly to the Operations Director on performance against business, operational and annual plans and budget expectations.
- Ensure the office is aware of best practice and consistently works to achieve this within the constraints set by the Trustees and available resources.
- Facilitate regular group clinical supervision sessions for yourself and all team members.
4. External and Internal Relations
You will:
- Maintain and extend a network of referral partners who can direct candidates to us for job finder support, including charities, Jobcentres, probation services and police teams.
- Cultivate these relationships through regular visits, communication and updates.
- Assist in developing the charity’s local public profile and foster positive relationships with government, statutory, voluntary, private sector and other external stakeholders.
- Monitor changes in the external environment that may affect the charity, proactively advising the Operations Director and taking appropriate action where necessary.
This is a non-exhaustive list of tasks and may be amended from time to time in line with the needs of the charity.
Our Interview Process
This vacancy will close on 6th September, with applications being shortlisted on 7th September.
If you are successful at the shortlisting stage, you will be invited to attend the first stage of our interview process on Tuesday 8th September, between 4:30pm and 7pm, at our new offices in Preston.
We want our recruitment process to give you the opportunity to get to know The Recruitment Junction (TRJ) just as much as it allows us to get to know you.
Rather than a traditional first interview, we will be holding a relaxed group recruitment evening with a ‘speed-dating’ style interview format. This is for applicants for all THREE DIFFERENT VACANCIES we’re hiring for, for the new Preston team.
The evening will begin with an introduction to TRJ from our CEO and Senior Leadership Team, giving you the opportunity to hear more about who we are, our values. the work we do and what it is like to be part of our team. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions in an open audience environment, allowing you to find out more about TRJ, our work and our organisation. Refreshments will also be provided.
You will then have a short, informal, face-to-face conversation with one of our hiring managers. This is designed to be a relaxed opportunity for us to learn a little more about you, while also giving you the chance to ask questions and decide whether TRJ is somewhere you would like to continue pursuing a career.
Following the first-stage event, we will invite successful candidates for a formal final interview.
Key dates:
- Applications close: 6th September
- Shortlisting: 7th September
- Stage One – Recruitment Evening: Tuesday 8th September, 4:30-7pm
- Stage Two – Formal Final Interview: Wednesday 16th September – time to be confirmed
We hope this approach creates a welcoming and informal first stage, giving you a genuine opportunity to learn more about TRJ, meet members of our team and decide whether we are a fit for each other.
Supporting people with convictions into paid employment, breaking down barriers and creating positive, sustainable futures.

Men are dying too young – and it doesn’t have to be that way.
Around the world, men are facing a health crisis: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and suicide. At Movember we’re on a mission to change the face of men’s health by making it easier for men to talk, act and live longer healthier lives.
Every project, every campaign, every idea adds up to real change. You’ll be part of a purpose-fueled crew who believe making an impact and having fun should go hand in hand. Your mission is calling.
DO GOOD. Work for Movember.
Your Mo-Mission (should you choose to accept it):
Movember's UK and Europe public fundraising operation is one of the most ambitious in the global movement. Hundreds of thousands of Mo Bros and Mo Sistas, a full calendar of endurance events, deep community partnerships across education, sport and workplace, and a year-round supporter engagement program that keeps people coming back long after November ends. Leading all of it takes someone exceptional.
As Director of Public Fundraising, UK and Europe, you'll own the strategy and delivery for community fundraising, endurance events, and all public fundraising activity across the region. You'll lead the local implementation of the Movember campaign, drive year-round retention and engagement of the Mo Community, and take an active role in shaping the broader UK and Europe Country Strategy. You'll also play a key part in Movember's European growth ambitions, helping to identify and unlock new markets and opportunities across the region.
People leadership is central to this role. You'll lead a team of 12 or more, building capability, setting clear accountabilities, and creating the kind of environment where people are genuinely empowered to take ownership and deliver with excellence. You'll work closely with the UK Country Director and Global Director of Fundraising, contribute to global campaign squads, and collaborate with counterparts across markets to share what works and maximise collective income.
From setting strategy to stewarding high value supporters, from budget oversight to being a public face of Movember at community events, this is a role with real breadth and real impact.
Based in London, 12-month fixed term parental leave cover. We are open to this role being filled on a full-time or 0.8 part-time basis.

-
Strong people leadership skills and experience managing large, high-performing teams.
-
A sophisticated understanding of how to use data to maximise fundraising outcomes and supporter lifetime value.
-

-
An excellent relationship manager, with a proven ability to build and sustain lasting relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
-
Confident communicating at all levels, from team members to executive leadership to external partners.
-
Sound knowledge of fundraising law and best practice.
-
A genuine collaborator who brings people with them and leaves teams better than they found them.
GOOD CAUSE:
Working for Movember, you’ll help turn ideas (and moustaches) into millions for men’s health. Every bit we raise changes the face of men’s health by funding research, improving treatments, and supporting programs that help save lives.
We’re even shaping government policies on men’s health worldwide. By meeting directly with lawmakers, and helping them understand how more investment on men’s health benefits not just men, but all the communities they serve.
GOOD VIBES:
We love weekends. That’s why our Fridays finish early for nine months of the year. But we also love our office vibe. Because here, it always feels like something big is about to happen. Be it an office-wide surprise birthday party (with cake!) or an open invite for all to hit the pub.
Come the hairy season, the energy cranks up. We’re talking celebrity visits. Live stunts on-site for TV and radio. And when we hit a fundraising milestone, the office gong might even go off. But, for those who prefer calm, no probs: hybrid working means you work where you feel best.
GOOD CREW:
Spoiler alert: we’re a no-ego, all-impact crew. That means everyone gets a say, from new starters to those leading the charge. Collaboration over hierarchies, curiosity over rigid process. And it’s true across all our offices worldwide. We work as one, sharing expertise and celebrating wins. All in the name of making the biggest impact across the globe. United, we Mo.
We offer:
-
Hybrid/Flexible working – we offer our team a split of home and office working
-
13 weeks paid Parental Leave and 6 weeks annual leave
-
Health Cash Plan – to support the costs of everyday healthcare needs (dental, optical, wellbeing)
-
An Employee Assistance Programme offering face to face counselling, plus legal and financial support
-
A fun stimulating and collaborating culture, with company events
-
Service awards after 3, 5 and 10 year
-
Committees to join – Culture team, Equity Diversity & Inclusion
-
Bike to work scheme
-
Half day Fridays for 9 months of the year
Being different is how we started. And it’s also helped us raise $1 billion for men’s health. So, we know the power of diverse experiences, skills and perspectives.
Movember is committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive community and workplace - a place where we can all be ourselves, and each have the equal opportunity to succeed and be recognised for our unique contribution. We value the experiences, skills and perspectives of all individuals and actively encourage applications from people with diverse backgrounds. We make recruitment decisions based on applicants’ skills, experience and knowledge, ensuring all applicants are treated fairly.

About Reprieve
Reprieve is a leading international human rights organisation working to end the death penalty and abuses committed under the banner of national security. Founded in 1999, our mission remains critically relevant as governments worldwide increasingly adopt authoritarian tactics, expanding executive power at the expense of civil liberties.
You can best judge a society by how it treats prisoners, criminal defendants, and the far-flung targets of an ever-changing counter-terror policy. To us, the rule of law means little if we selectively apply it to people we agree with. It is for all of us. Liberty is always eroded at the margins.
Reprieve’s staff is made up of courageous and committed human rights defenders. We provide vital legal and investigative support to those facing execution and victims of rendition, torture, arbitrary detention, extrajudicial killing, and citizenship stripping. Our work spans multiple jurisdictions, challenging states' most egregious human rights violations through strategic litigation, investigations, and advocacy.
We support cases in courts worldwide while building the legal and political momentum necessary to consign these practices to history.
Based in London with Fellows and partners globally, Reprieve operates at the intersection of law, policy, and human rights, working alongside governments, senior legal practitioners, and civil society to advance systemic change.
We collaborate closely with our independent partner organization Reprieve US.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Data and Impact Officer to join our Data and Impact team. This is a pivotal role for someone who is passionate about the power of data and evaluation to improve services, inform strategic decision-making and demonstrate meaningful outcomes.
Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will help ensure that HENRY has robust, reliable and accessible data systems that support excellent service delivery and enable us to evidence the difference we make. You'll combine hands-on operational delivery with continuous improvement, helping to strengthen our monitoring, evaluation and learning approach while embedding a culture of evidence-led decision making throughout the charity.
What you'll be doing
As a key member of the team, you'll:
- Lead on the management, quality assurance and ongoing improvement of HENRY's data systems and processes.
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, measure outcomes and generate actionable insight.
- Produce high-quality reports, dashboards and visualisations for commissioners, funders, senior leaders and operational teams.
- Support the implementation and development of HENRY's Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) framework.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, information governance requirements and data quality standards.
- Provide evidence and impact data to support funding applications, tender submissions and commissioner reporting.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to help them understand and utilise data to improve services and outcomes.
- Contribute to impact reporting, organisational learning, research and continuous improvement activities.
About you
You'll be a highly organised and analytical professional with experience of managing, analysing and reporting data to support organisational performance or impact measurement. Comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative information, you'll be able to translate complex findings into clear, compelling insights for a range of audiences.
Most importantly, you'll share our passion for improving outcomes for children and families and be motivated by the opportunity to use data and evidence to drive positive change.
