Yeldall Manor is a Christian residential treatment centre near Reading for men struggling with addiction to drugs or alcohol. We are seeking someone strategic and relational to strengthen and develop all aspects of fundraising for Yeldall Manor, and to lead a new marketing and fundraising campaign. The appointee will join our senior leadership team and shape the next chapter of our development as we are at a pivotal moment of opportunity, with an ambitious vision to build our Christ-centred identity and practice, pursue excellence and impact, and expand our reach.

We are looking for someone who will:

• Lead supporter acquisition activities and build the portfolio of individuals, churches, trusts, corporates and other organisations supporting the work of Yeldall Manor.
• Build deep, mission-aligned partnerships with donors and stakeholders.
• Lead and implement an effective marketing and communications strategy to help position Yeldall Manor within the top tier of UK residential rehab centres.
• Lead and execute a high-impact fundraising strategy across major gifts, individual giving, churches, trusts & foundations, corporates, and legacies.
• Work closely with the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team to align income generation with Yeldall Manor’s strategic vision and programme outputs.
• Lead the development of funding applications for trusts & foundations.
• Provide leadership and nurture staff working on supporter acquisition, fundraising and marketing activities, empowering them to deliver with excellence.
• Inspire a culture of philanthropy throughout the organisation, rooted in strong values and relational excellence

You will be working alongside the existing Administration and Supporter Relations Manager, and other staff assisting with marketing and administration, based mainly at Yeldall Manor, which means you will have daily contact with those men whom you are helping. About the Role

About the Role

As a Housing Floating Support Worker, you will help women with practical tenancy sustainment, as well as ongoing support to cope, recover and move towards independence. You will achieve this through providing resettlement support, financial independence, training/employment opportunities, and ongoing housing support.

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of the client group, and the ability to work with women to help them to understand their needs, risk assess, develop safety plan, and support them in linking with other agencies.

Pathfinder IDVAs will be the main point of contact and support for victim/survivors and their children in the Family Court process, ensuring that they are well-informed and prepared for proceedings, and that they are well-supported throughout. Pathfinder IDVAs will provide detailed reports for the court to ensure that the impact of domestic abuse on the family as a whole and on the children in particular is fully appreciated and understood. Pathfinder IDVAs will be the ‘subject matter experts’ for the Court in relation to domestic abuse, and will offer advice and training to court officers and staff to promote the better understanding of the dynamics of domestic abuse within the Court setting.

The Pathfinder IDVAs will work with people from Sandwell, Walsall and Dudley areas whose cases are being heard in Wolverhampton or Telford Family Court.

About the role

We’re looking for a Community Forester to help deliver woodland creation and management projects across Raise: Cumbria Community Forest.

This role will support the delivery of woodland creation and restoration projects with landowners, contractors, communities and volunteers across a range of sites. You’ll coordinate delivery on the ground, support contractor management and work directly on practical forestry activities as part of a small and growing team.

You’ll also support the development of new woodland opportunities and help expand Raise’s support for landowners across Cumbria. We’re looking for someone with practical experience in forestry, woodland creation, conservation or a related outdoor or land-based field.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

Role overview 

The Head of MAT and School Partnerships will build and lead a high-impact portfolio of strategic MAT partnerships that improve recruitment, retention and long-term success for career change teachers while strengthening outcomes for schools and pupils. 

This is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of Now Teach’s next phase of growth and impact. The postholder will play a central role in shaping how we work with MATs nationally and how career change teachers are recruited, supported and retained within schools serving disadvantaged communities.

You will also work closely with the Director of Network and Head of Impact to develop a school engagement, impact and advocacy strategy across the 500 schools where our 1,000-strong Now Teacher Network currently teach.

In this role you will……   

Lead the design, delivery and evolution of Now Teach’s MAT partnership strategy aimed at ensuring Now Teacher impact in schools. You will support teams to deliver on their agreed recruitment targets and network offer commitments , establishing and growing a portfolio of deeply engaged partners who get it right for their career change teachers.

You will create and maintain strategic relationships, act as a sector expert for growth opportunities, influence and negotiate at senior levels and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Strong judgement and relentless customer focus will be essential as you build customer loyalty and enhance MAT and school advocacy and ultimately, our impact. 

Key responsibilities 

Strategic Leadership  

• Lead the further development,  execution and continuous improvement of the charity’s MAT and School strategy   

• Feed your knowledge into decisions that will support us to increase our footprint in schools serving areas of greater socio-economic disadvantage 

• Use partnership insight and data to inform organisational strategy and decision-making

• Deliver on our ambition for 60% of all new Now Teachers to be teaching in schools serving areas of greater disadvantage by 2030 

 Business Development & External Influence 

• Secure partnership income targets, negotiate partnership contributions, and drive commercial sustainability, working closely with COO/Finance Manager on ongoing cost models. 

• Position Now Teach as a leading strategic partner for MATs seeking to recruit and retain high-quality career change teachers 

• Represent Now Teach externally across the education sector, building credibility and influence with MAT leaders, system partners and sector stakeholders

Impact, Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

Your main base will be Claygate, with an expectation of regular travel and flexibility to cover other M5 stores as required.

As a Shop Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of our store by leading an inclusive team of paid colleagues and volunteers to maximise sales income and to minimise costs. You will have the passion to drive your store to be the best in the area.

Deputy Service Manager - Supported Living - Stroud

As a Deputy Service Manager, covering this 10 month maternity contract in Stroud, you’ll work closely with the Service Manager to create supported living services that provide genuine choice, independence, and opportunities to achieve goals. There is a chance that the role could be extended.

What you'll be doing

As a Deputy Service Manager, you’ll lead and inspire your team to create meaningful, outcomes-focused services:

• Spend at least 20% of your time on shift, supporting your team, role-modelling great practice, and mentoring colleagues
• Lead by example, promoting kindness, respect, and person-centred values in everyday practice
• Coordinate and oversee person-centred support across multiple services, ensuring consistency and quality
• Keep services safe, compliant, and focused on positive outcomes for the people we support
• Observe and support your team’s practice, offering constructive feedback and guidance for continuous improvement
• Encourage and develop your team, helping them grow in confidence, skills, and expertise
• Build open, trusting relationships with families, carers, partners, and external agencies
• Support your Service Manager by stepping in when needed, ensuring services run smoothly and consistently
• Take part in the on-call duty manager rota and occasionally support in other services, helping the wider team as needed

Who You Are

You’re passionate about enabling learning disabled adults to live life their way, and you bring:

• Experience managing supported living services for learning disabled adults
• A Level 4 Lead Practitioner Diploma in Adult Care or hold a Level 3 diploma and be willing to undertake this apprenticeship qualification within an agreed reasonable timescale as part of a development plan
• Strong leadership skills that inspire and develop your team
• A proactive, solution-focused approach to delivering excellent services
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Summary of job:

To provide professional management, supervision and operational oversight for intermediary services, supporting a team of PAYE and sessional Intermediaries and Researchers. The role includes service development, quality assurance, safeguarding oversight and contributing to the strategic growth and external representation of PAC-UK’s services for adopted people, birth families and their descendants.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

1. Management and Supervision

• Provide individual and group supervision to Intermediaries and Researchers, ensuring compliance with adoption legislation, policy and best practice.
• Offer case consultation and guidance, including complex and high-risk cases.
• Lead team meetings and staff development activities.
• Support team members in managing safeguarding concerns and ensure adherence to organisational safeguarding policies.

2. Service Delivery and Operations

• Oversee referrals, allocations and case progression and case closure, making informed decisions on applications and case direction.
• Maintain oversight of active cases, ensuring appropriate risk management and quality of service delivery.
• Monitor and review case records and undertake direct casework where required.
• Coordinate and chair meetings as needed.
• Oversee the delivery and day-to-day operation of FamilyConnect advice line services.

 3. Service Development and Quality Assurance

• Contribute proactively to the development of intermediary services, incorporating emerging theory, research and policy changes.
• Lead or support service evaluation, ensuring accurate collection and analysis of data.
• Undertake audits and contribute to continuous improvement processes across services.
• Ensure practice resources are current, relevant and aligned with service models.

4. Stakeholder Engagement and Representation

• Liaise with internal managers, external professionals and referrers regarding cases and service delivery.
• Represent PAC-UK at external meetings, including commissioner meetings and contribute to reporting requirements.
• Work collaboratively with other staff across PAC-UK and the wider organisation.

5. Staffing and Development

• Support recruitment, induction and ongoing development of staff and sessional workers.
• Deliver or facilitate training for parents and professionals.
• Quality assure and support team members delivering training.

6. Marketing and Service Promotion

• Take a proactive role in promoting the service, including contributing to marketing and online content where appropriate.

7. General Responsibilities

• Attend supervision with line manager and relevant internal meetings.
• Participate in training and continuous professional development.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.

This role will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of safe, high-quality safeguarding processes, procedures, reporting systems across Galop
 
This is a high-impact and strategically significant position, ensuring the development and enhancement of safeguarding frameworks.
 
The post-holder will act as the organisation’s Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, with the Director of Services continuing to hold the Designated Safeguarding Lead role. The post-holder will also work closely with Heads of Service, service managers, senior leadership, , and teams across the organisation to foster a culture in which safeguarding is deeply embedded and consistently prioritised.
 
This role holds the responsibility for delivering high quality operations as well as quality assuring and providing guidance on  complex cases.
 
Due to the nature of the role, regular evening and weekend work may be required. Hybrid working is available, but it is anticipated that this role will be required to regularly work and attend meetings in the Galop building in central London.

Salary: This role is on Grade B on Galop’s pay scales. You will start on scale point B1, which equates to £49,282.97 per year (including London Weighting of £4,296.25) (£44,986.72 without London Weighting).
