Job Summary
We're looking for an excited and proactive Community Fundraising Officer to help support people across the UK to raise vital funds for Bowel Cancer UK. As part of our ambitious and growing Community Fundraising team, you'll play a key role in developing and delivering a diverse portfolio of fundraising activities that generate more than £1.3 million each year in support of our mission.
The Community Fundraising Officer will play a key role in developing and delivering a diverse portfolio of fundraising products and campaigns, including Do-It-Yourself fundraising, Own Place Runs, Celebration and In-Memory giving, as well as popular community initiatives such as our knitting challenge and Christmas appeals.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about building relationships, creating engaging supporter experiences and delivering excellent communications. With strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach, you'll work closely with the Senior Community Fundraising Officer to analyse performance, use supporter insights and identify opportunities to enhance fundraising activities and improve supporter retention.
Reporting to the Senior Community Fundraising Officer, you'll work closely with colleagues across the Mass Supporter Giving, Marketing and Communications, Data and IT, and Finance teams, as well as external agency partners, to achieve shared goals and deliver outstanding fundraising experiences.

Our client offers a range of quality, exciting and inclusive short break clubs and activities across Surrey and West Sussex for children and young people aged 5–17 with a disability and additional needs. They are now looking to recruit an Senior SEND Delivery Coordinator to oversee the delivery of high quality, stimulating, safe services for a range of children and young people in Leatherhead and Epsom.
As Senior Delivery Coordinator you will plan and deliver a structured programme of enjoyable, recreational, high-quality activities to meet the needs of children and young people with additional needs and disabilities who attend Short Breaks clubs. You will coordinate and take responsibility for the planning, allocation of places, and sufficient staffing to ensure safe delivery of Short Breaks clubs, and will assist in the recruitment, training and ongoing development of the Disability staff team. You will have responsibility for processing new referrals, initial assessments, individual care plans and any associated risk assessments or specialist plans to ensure individual needs are met.
This exciting and rewarding role will require a passion for working with SEND as well as excellent coordination skills to manage the delivery of high quality, stimulating, safe services. About the role
We are seeking an experienced Conference and Events Manager to provide 12-month interim cover for our conference and events function.
The postholder will oversee the work of the Events team; consisting of an Events Coordinator and Events Administrator who are responsible for supporting the overall events programme. In addition, for the Conference Provision, there is a longstanding Volunteer Conference Organiser who holds significant institutional knowledge, an external Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) and a National Conferences Programme Advisory Group (NCPAG), who lead the process of determining academic content for the conferences.
Your role will be the staff lead to help shape future provision, hold key relationships and ensure the development of a successful 2027 event.
This is a time-limited role with the priorities for;
· the transition conference activity from a Volunteer Conference Organiser to an in-house staff function, establishing a clear structure, processes, timelines, roles and decision points ensuring forward planning, consistency and effectiveness of the Conference.
· lead on the development of in-house event programme for BABCP members to support their continuing professional development.

What we’re looking for
The successful candidate will be comfortable stepping into an established team, building trust quickly and working with experienced people who know the conference and events well.
You will need to be organised and relationship-focused and be able to provide a reliable staff oversight during this transitional period.
Experience of Conference or Events management in a membership, charity or professional body setting would be an advantage.
We are looking for a candidate who can provide confident interim management, maintain effective delivery of the Conference and Events, and work collaboratively with colleagues, members and stakeholders.

Then join us to lead a team of specialist caseworkers, supporting survivors to address practical issues and empower them in their recovery!
The RISE Team Leader will be a skilled independent domestic and sexual violence advocate who will oversee a small team of case and group workers as well as managing Helpline volunteers. She will be a qualified IDVA and ISVA or be willing to complete the accreditations in the first six months in post.
She will hold a caseload of her own and coordinate a team providing support and guidance through a range of interventions and support offers working closely with an experienced Manager and other Team Leaders. Together with their team they will build, maintain and create links to deliver survivor-focused, trauma aware/ responsive support to help survivors and their family to cope and recover.
They will be the lead on developing, implementing and coordinating the Helpline, Casework and Projects with day-to-day practice oversight of staff and volunteers. The Team Leader will work co-operatively and flexibly alongside RISE colleagues providing expert input and contributing to the effective running of the organisation as a whole.
