Brief role description:

​

​The Senior Corporate Development and Partnerships Manager/ Head of Corporate Development and Partnerships will be a dynamic and strategic leader who will lead the Forces Employment Charity (FEC)’s business development. This will include researching and identifying new income generation opportunities from corporates, employers and government contracts, when relevant, and converting these into long term relationships. You will lead the team to produce high quality, bespoke proposals, and reports to demonstrate impact and outcomes to help drive the delivery of FEC across the UK.

As part of the Marketing, Communication and Fundraising Directorate, and led by the Director of Marketing,

Communications and Fundraising, you will be supported to be creative in how you grow and uplift new business to contribute to annual growth targets. You will have an entrepreneurial approach to your work to identify and attract new partnerships whilst being responsible for the relationship management of our established corporate partners, focusing on stewardship, renewals and smart uplifts.

Some of your responsibilities include:

​

• Driving the development of tailored, high-impact proposals and pitches to engage relevant companies and secure strategic, multifaceted partnerships that align with the charity’s mission.

• Work with the wider directorate including fundraising, marketing, communications and events, to identify new, innovative projects to help us achieve our income generation objectives.
• Develop and execute a business development strategy to drive revenue and market presence.
• Represent FEC at events, meetings, and networking opportunities to grow visibility and to deepen engagement.
• Oversee budget, monitor performance against goals and KPIs, and conduct contract negotiations.
• Lead and manage the corporate development and partnerships team, fostering innovation and collaboration within your team, whilst providing strategic direction and support.
• Take an active role in planning and delivering key new business events to support income generation and stakeholder engagement.
   

Some of the skills and experience we are looking for are:

• Experience in building strong, successful, long-term partnerships.
• Strong track record of securing multiple six / seven-figure sums from partnerships and delivering income targets.
• Strong prospect research, networking, and pipeline management skills 
• Strong communication skills, including diplomacy, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with a proven track record in coaching, motivating, and developing teams.
• Ability to manage the workload, outputs, and people within a team to produce high-quality outcomes in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop innovative and forward-thinking strategies and translate these into operational plans.
• Considerable experience in building relationships with senior stakeholders internally and externally, particularly with government and corporate organisations.
• Significant experience in managing complex projects with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in managing budgets, financial reporting and analysing data to inform strategic and tactical decision making

Ideally you will also have:

​

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Empathy with and a good understanding of Ex-Forces personnel and the challenges they can face.
• Experience in leading funding applications
• Excellent IT skills, preferably including experience of working with a CRM database (Salesforce) - Training opportunities will be available as part of your role.

Allsorts is seeking two enthusiastic, dedicated and dynamic Youth Coaches to help us deliver our vision of a world where LGBTQ+ children and young people are free to be themselves. As TLG positions itself as a leading practitioner in therapeutic coaching, this leader will bring a solid understanding of coaching practice and how therapeutic coaching can transform a young person’s thinking and strengthen the culture of support we offer. Their expertise will help embed coaching-informed approaches across TLG, shaping programme design and creating richer opportunities for children and young people to reflect and grow, strengthening their wellbeing and future outcomes.

Greenhouse Sports is pleased to be exclusively partnering with Robertson Bell in their search for a Management Accountant to join their close-knit, dynamic team on a permanent basis, in this newly created role following an exciting period of change. Their mission is to deliver intensive sports coaching and mentoring to help develop young people from disadvantaged communities.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the Finance Team by preparing monthly management accounts with variance analysis, budget holder reports, and statutory accounts. They will also contribute to finance projects, including the development of new budget holder reporting and process improvements.

The organisation:

Greenhouse Sports is an organisation dedicated to providing sports coaching and mentoring to young people impacted by poverty. Since its foundation in 2002, Greenhouse Sports has continually expanded its reach, fuelled by the support of donors and partners who believe in the value of creating opportunities for young people to succeed. Their approach combines sports coaching with mentoring, giving young people the life skills they need to lead happy and healthy lives and act as a positive social influence both at school and beyond.

As Greenhouse continues to grow, it remains committed to its mission of providing opportunities for young people who might otherwise be left behind. By addressing both the physical and mental aspects of youth development, the organisation helps young people unlock their potential and prepares them for a better future.

The key duties of the Management Accountant will be as follows:

• Complete the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
• Play a key role in the production of the statutory accounts including notes and reconciliations.
• Own the preparation of the newly created budget holder reports ensuring that reporting is complete and accurate.
• Monitor actual spending vs budget by providing a variance analysis for monthly budget holder reports.
• Extract relevant data from Xledger and prepare reporting for internal stakeholders.
• Work with a continuous improvement mindset to identify efficiencies in existing processes.
• Support other members of the finance team when required to complete tasks.

The successful candidate will have:

• A recognised professional qualification or be part qualified studying towards becoming qualified.
• Demonstrable experience of having worked in a management accounts capacity.
• Ideally, working knowledge of Charity SORP, but candidates without this are strongly encouraged to apply.
• The ability to communicate effectively with all financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• An enthusiastic and confident personality, with a key eye for detail.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

Join the Single Homeless Prevention Service (SHPS) as a housing coach, preventing and relieving homelessness of local people by finding sustainable solutions in the private rented sector.

Location: Crisis Skylight Brent (Harlesden) and local community settings

Contract: 12 months Fixed Term Contract

About the role

As a SHPS Housing Coach you will be working with individuals to prevent or relieve homelessness by sourcing affordable, suitable and sustainable private rented sector accommodation. You will also help individuals to address any other support needs they may have which are a barrier to achieving their goals and ending their homelessness by linking them with relevant agencies. This role requires skilled delivery of a range of interventions and a passion for working with those who face multiple disadvantages in society. We welcome candidates who can bring enthusiasm to learn, transferrable skills and/or have housing experience.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have transferrable skills and/or housing experience and can demonstrate skills and values in the following areas:

• Supporting people to prevent and relieve homelessness (through assessments, housing people, negotiating with landlords, advice and support to sustain tenancies)
• Demonstrating a pro-active and solution-focused approach to supporting individuals overcome barriers they are facing around housing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and results focused environment.
• Liaising and negotiating with a range of stakeholders effectively to achieve the best possible outcome for the people you work with (landlords, accommodation providers, local authorities, DWP, etc.).
• Actively contribute to sourcing suitable and affordable accommodation
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and administrative skills to manage a client caseload and own workload.
• You are pro-active and adaptable, uphold the dignity of all individuals you work with and demonstrate a willingness to follow best practice and a clear resolve to end homelessness.

About this exciting opportunity

Working as part of a multi-agency team, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will either be serving community sentences or being released from prison.  You will undertake assessment and action planning with individual service users, create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma-informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users, plus deliver a range of interventions to service users which contribute towards achievement of prescribed outcomes.

We will also count on you to develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies, including probation, prisons, partners, and others who will assist in achieving prescribed outcomes for service users, ensuring you work towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales.  Using agreed CRM databases and recording all activity relating to caseload and providing updates and reports are also key duties.

What we are looking for

• Experience working with partner agencies either as part of a multi-agency team working towards common objectives or negotiating to establish links to further the aims of a project
• L3 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent
• The ability to assess clients’ needs and provide tailored, client-led support through action planning and interventions involving advice, guidance, advocacy, and coaching
• An ability to work sensitively with clients applying trauma-informed strategies
• Impressive IT, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities span the strategic management and ownership of the entire F2F recruitment pipeline, as well as setting the direction for training resources and managing the delivery of all induction and campaign training.
