THE ROLE

We are looking for a new Programmes & Community Coordinator to help turn ambitious ideas into well-run programmes with meaningful impact.

This is a varied, hands-on role at the heart of a growing organisation. Working closely with the Founder and CEO, you will coordinate programmes from planning through to delivery, support our volunteer team and ensure that participants receive a consistently welcoming and well-organised experience.

You will also strengthen the systems and processes behind our work, helping us deliver programmes that are effective, sustainable and capable of growing.

PROGRAMME DELIVERY

• Programme Coordination - Coordinate the planning and delivery of community programmes, pilots, campaigns and other initiatives
• Delivery Logistics - Manage programme schedules, venues, partners, materials and communications to support smooth delivery

About the AOI

The Association of Illustrators is the UK's professional body for illustrators and a global leader in our field. About the role

The Membership team is at the heart of the AOI. It is where members come for advice, professional support and connection with the wider illustration community.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Membership Manager to join us for fixed term maternity cover. You will lead a small, dedicated team, ensure members continue to receive an excellent service and take forward our three-year membership strategy.

This is a varied role combining leadership, planning and hands-on delivery. You will protect and grow membership income, oversee our events programme, support the team with member enquiries and develop new ways to make membership more welcoming and relevant to a wider range of illustrators.

Where possible, there will be a handover with the current postholder. You will also be supported by colleagues who share knowledge of the professional and business issues affecting illustrators.

What you will be doing

Leading the Membership team

You will lead and support a small, experienced team, ensuring priorities are clear and members receive a consistently high level of service.

You will:

• Lead, support and develop the Membership team through regular planning, one-to-ones and clear communication.
• Oversee the day-to-day work of the team, balancing immediate member needs with longer-term priorities.
• Create a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Work closely with the Membership Administrator, who is responsible for the membership database and day-to-day administration.
• Ensure membership reporting and processes support effective decision-making and excellent member service.
• Monitor renewals, retention, membership income and other key trends, reporting regularly to the CEO.
• Identify practical improvements to the experience members receive.

Growing and strengthening membership

You will play a central role in delivering the AOI's three-year membership strategy.

You will:

• Lead plans to grow membership and improve retention.
• Develop a membership offer that is increasingly accessible, inclusive and relevant to today's illustration community.
• Ensure the needs of illustrators at different stages of their careers are reflected in our services and communications.
• Use member feedback, enquiry trends and membership data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work with colleagues to communicate the value of AOI membership clearly and confidently.
• Develop campaigns and activities that encourage people to join, renew and make full use of their membership.

Leading the events programme

Events are one of the main ways we support, inform and bring together the illustration community.

You will:

• Shape and oversee the annual programme of talks, workshops, networking events and professional development activities.
• Manage the events budget and make effective use of available resources.
• Coordinate colleagues, guest speakers and external contributors.
• Ensure the programme offers a strong balance of business support, professional development, community and inspiration.
• Make events welcoming, accessible and relevant to a broad range of illustrators.
• Use events to support member engagement, retention and recruitment.
• Review attendance, feedback and impact to improve future programmes.

Supporting members

Our members come to us for trusted advice on the opportunities and challenges they face throughout their careers.

You will:

• Build a strong working understanding of the professional issues affecting illustrators, including business practice, licensing, contracts, pricing and professional standards.
• Support the team in responding to enquiries accurately, clearly and with empathy.
• Identify recurring issues and ensure they inform our events, resources and wider work.
• Build trusted relationships with members and act as an approachable and knowledgeable representative of the AOI.

You do not need to arrive with detailed knowledge of every issue affecting illustrators, but you will need to be curious, able to learn quickly and confident adapting your experience to a specialist creative community.

Working across the AOI

As a small organisation, we work closely across teams and support one another.

You will:

• Work with colleagues across communications, campaigning, awards and other areas of the AOI.
• Contribute ideas and insight to organisational planning and shared projects.
• Ensure membership priorities are understood across the organisation.
• Work closely with the CEO, who will lead strategic partnerships during the maternity-cover period.
• Act as an enthusiastic ambassador for the AOI, our members and the wider illustration community.

Working to support the Executive Director and the fundraising team, we are looking for a highly motivated, organised person with excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to take initiative to optimise our planned fundraising activities over the next few months to enable us to raise vital funds and grow our funding networks.

The role is to focus on three key fundraising events, an art auction in autumn, our Big Give Campaign in December and a speaker event at the beginning of 2027 to kick off our 30-year celebrations.

Key responsibilities:

• Organise the logistics of the art auction including setting up online bidding and the in-person auction event liaising with the artists, creating the brochure and overseeing the photography
• Oversee and implement all publicity around the auction including PR and social media campaigns
• For the in-person auction, establish and manage the guest list and venue liaison
• Support the Big Give Campaign liaising with potential and pledged donors, identifying opportunities for new donor support and the supporting communications campaign
• Work with the Development Board to set up and organise a speaker-based event for Q1 of 2027 to ensure a well-attended, professional event in line with our organisational goals and policies
• Be the point of contact with the Development Board and the fundraising team

About Fine Cell Work

Fine Cell Work delivers a proven, scalable model of rehabilitation by giving people in prison and post-release high-quality textile skills, combining paid work, creative engagement, and structured support to enable long-term desistance from crime.

As a charity working in criminal justice since 1997, Fine Cell Work has supported nearly 9,000 people in prison.

By providing purposeful activity, we address some of the most pressing challenges within the prison system—mental ill-health, lack of opportunity, and high rates of reoffending. Creative activity and the arts reduce reoffending because they change how people think, feel, and behave in ways that traditional prison programmes often can’t reach. We deliver a proven model of rehabilitation through high-quality needlework classes delivered in prison by committed volunteers. This is an exciting opportunity for a community development professional who cares about tackling energy-related issues and working towards a more inclusive and sustainable future. We recognise that an effective engagement is a key component in ensuring the households at-risk of or in fuel poverty are able to access impartial energy advice. 

As Outreach Team Lead, you will work with a diverse and supportive team. Ideally you will be locally based covering Greenwich, Lewisham, Bromley and Bexley, with a strong interest in community engagement, working knowledge of energy advice and climate breakdown. Your role will be to deliver an outreach program in order to engage voluntary sector organisations and residents in or at-risk of fuel poverty through workshops, outreach events and community level publicity. Your role will also include maintaining and creating referral networks with voluntary sector organisations across SE London as well as supporting the Energy Advice Delivery and Partnerships Manager to adapt the outreach program to meet the needs of our funded projects, as well as those of our partners and local community.

The Role

· Lead and coordinate Selce’s energy advice outreach activity across Greenwich, Lewisham, Bromley and Bexley, ensuring delivery is inclusive, well organised and aligned with funder requirements.

· Work closely with the Energy Advice Team and Outreach Team to provide a joined-up approach to engagement, referrals and service delivery.

· Plan, organise and deliver energy advice workshops, pop-up stalls, energy cafés and other community-based events.

· Build and maintain strong referral pathways with voluntary, community and public sector organisations, and train frontline workers to identify and refer residents who may benefit from Selce’s support.

· Develop positive partnerships with community centres, local organisations and other stakeholders to reach residents who are in, or at risk of, fuel poverty.

· Keep local organisations and residents informed about Selce’s services through newsletters, direct contact and community-level publicity.

· Maintain constructive relationships with funders, partners and key stakeholders, representing Selce professionally at public-facing events.

· Line manage, train, mentor and support Outreach Officers, promoting consistent quality, confidence and good practice across the team.

· Monitor outreach activity, referral data and project progress using Selce’s CRM and other agreed systems.

· Analyse data and prepare clear weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for funders, managers and the Selce Board.

· Identify opportunities to improve outreach delivery so that activity responds to community needs, partner feedback and project requirements.

· Support the Energy Advice Delivery and Partnerships Manager with wider service development and other duties appropriate to the scope of the role.

Essential skills, experience and qualities

· Strong presentation, facilitation and public-facing communication skills, with the confidence to engage residents, partners and community groups.

About South East London Community Energy

South East London Community Energy (Selce) was born in 2014, when a group of people living in Greenwich & Lewisham became so concerned about climate change that they decided to come up with a formula that would help to create a clean and just energy future. 

Throughout our first ten-years, we have set up projects that address inequality and seek to reduce our collective carbon footprint at different points in the energy systems.

To date we have built 12 solar arrays on community buildings in SE London and 11 buildings’ lighting systems to be more energy efficient.  We are opening share offers this year for further lighting system upgrades and solar arrays on community buildings. 

We’ve helped well over 4000 house holds with their energy bills and we are pleased to now be able to help homeowners make their homes more energy efficient through the Love Lofts and Future Fit Homes pilot programmes.

The General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, operational management and financial performance of Vision 21 Gloucestershire.

The postholder will oversee the delivery of the charity's trading, environmental and community programmes, ensuring they operate effectively, safely and sustainably. They will lead staff and volunteers, manage operational budgets and resources, and ensure the charity's projects achieve their agreed objectives and impact.

The role combines commercial management of Reclaim Furniture Reuse and the local council bulky waste contract, with oversight of Vision 21's wider programmes, including ‘The Greenhouse’ (charity office and community space), Libraries of Things, Repair Cafés, community growing projects and other sustainability initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our ambitious and successful Partnerships Team. This role will focus on securing new Strategic Funding Partners, our Founding Partners, developing proposals, and ensuring the Prize has a strong, and regularly updated prospect pool. Founding Partners are key strategic partners of the Prize, providing essential support that enables the full breadth of our work, including high-level (£m) funding as well as bringing expertise, networks, talent, and passion to support both the Prize and our Finalists. Purpose of the Role

The Youth Insights Programme Lead is responsible for leading the effective design, planning and delivery of assigned Youth Insights panels and projects. The role bridges strategic leadership and operational delivery, ensuring that panels are well designed, well facilitated, well coordinated and deliver high-quality insight for partners.

The Programme Lead manages day-to-day partner relationships, leads delivery planning, supports facilitators, oversees programme outputs and ensures young people have a positive, inclusive and meaningful experience.

The role contributes to insight generation and reporting, working within the frameworks and quality standards set by the Programme Manager.

Key Responsibilities

1. Programme Design and Delivery

• Lead the design and delivery of assigned Youth Insights panels, within the methodology and standards set by the Programme Manager.
• Translate partner objectives into clear delivery plans, session structures and participant journeys.

The Senior Programme Manager will be responsible for  managing  FFRP, a London wide programme that supports families on low income to access good quality, free and independent advice, in order to prevent or alleviate financial hardship. The ideal candidate will be an experienced project manager, confident in relationship management and in evaluation and monitoring, with a strong understanding of the free legal advice sector in London.
