At Keychange, we’re looking for a Support Worker to join our Esther Community in Exeter — a small, specialist service providing safe, trauma-informed accommodation for women experiencing homelessness.

About the role

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital part in the day-to-day running of the service and in supporting women on their individual journeys. This is a varied and rewarding role combining practical support, emotional encouragement, and casework. There is some flexibility to autonomously choose your working hours to suit your schedule.

You will:

• Build trusting relationships with women and provide strengths-based, person-centred support
• Act as a key worker, supporting women to identify goals around health, wellbeing, housing, education, employment, and relationships
• Carry out assessments, support planning, reviews, and accurate case recording

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Director of Finance  to join our Senior Management Team (SMT) and help lead the hospice as a whole. Click on redirect to recruiter to view full job details.

This is far more than a technical finance role. As a key member of the SMT, the Director of Finance will hold collective responsibility for the overall leadership, culture, performance, and strategic direction of the organisation, working collaboratively with fellow senior leaders to ensure our values shape decision-making at every level.

Alongside strategic financial leadership, the role includes senior oversight of Facilities and IT, recognising the vital role these services play in the provision of safe and effective services.  The role also operates as Company Secretary and takes responsibility for information governance.

About You

You will be a senior finance leader who combines professional expertise with strong interpersonal skills and a clear commitment to values-based leadership. You will bring:

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, or equivalent).
• Significant senior-level financial leadership experience, ideally within a charity, healthcare, public sector, or complex not-for-profit environment.
• Experience of working closely with Boards or Trustees and contributing at a strategic level.
• The ability to lead collaboratively beyond finance, with credibility and interest in areas such as Facilities and IT.

We are looking for a warm, highly organised, efficient and compassionate administrator to support our service team. This is a pivotal role, helping us implement and embed a new CRM system, keeping data accurate and usable, ensuring our admin systems and workflows run smoothly, effectively and safely.

Role Description

Given the part-time nature of the role, priorities wi l be agreed weekly with the Service Manager. Core tasks revolve around CRM/data quality and referral administration. Other duties wi l be delivered by agreement and as capacity alows, so the role remains sustainable and the “must-do” work is completed reliably.

Key Responsibilities

CRM implementation, data quality, workflows and reporting

• Phase focus (first 6 months): Prioritise supporting the implementation and embedding of Cimplify CRM system, including data clean-up and migration, establishing clear ways of working, templates and workflows, as well as supporting the team to use the system consistently and confidently.
• Act as a day-to-day CRM and data champion, supporting staff with basic questions and liaising with the CRM supplier as needed.
• Support data migration and clean-up from spreadsheets and other systems into the CRM, checking accuracy, removing duplication and improving consistency.
• Maintain strong ongoing data quality and housekeeping (e.g. naming conventions, minimum data standards, duplicates, retention/archiving, configuration items, managing users).
• Help design and maintain efficient workflows and light-touch automations (e.g. referral tracking steps, reminders, task prompts, fo low-ups), reducing manual admin and improving consistency.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reporting views for different audiences (service team, CEO, trustees, funders) ensuring data is kept up to date and usable.
• Support the regular flow of insight into team meetings and contribute data/metrics for funder and annual reports in colaboration with the Service Manager, fundraisers and the CEO.

Referrals and service administration (trauma-informed)

• Provide practical programme admin support to the service team, as and when possible.
• Monitor shared inboxes, triaging messages, forwarding appropriately and supporting timely, sensitive responses and follow-up.
• Track referrals and service workflows: scheduling calls/meetings, sending emails, using templates and maintaining accurate records.
• Keep mailing lists up to date (including referrer communications where relevant) and send programme updates as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care, following data protection and safeguarding procedures

Systems, documents and office administration

• Maintain clear filing and information systems (digital and paper), ensuring documents are easy to find and consistently stored.
• Support upkeep of key internal documents and templates (e.g. guidance notes, handbooks, simple policy documents), keeping versions tidy and up to date in colaboration with the Service Manager.
• Arrange meetings and room bookings; take minutes and maintain simple action trackers.
• Order and maintain office and programme supplies, keeping relevant inventories.
• Liaise with IT support regarding wi-fi, hardware or printer issues.
• Support the planning and administration of events (e.g. referrer events/open events/fundraising activities) as and when possible.

Personal Specification

Essential experience and skills

• Experience in an administrative role, carrying out a variety of administrative and general office duties.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills; able to maintain reliable records and systems with a focus on efficiency, quality and accuracy.
• Confident using digital tools (e.g. email, online documents), databases/CRMs/case management systems and AI tools (or confident in learning quickly).
• Strong understanding of confidentiality, data protection and handling sensitive information professionally (both in general and when using AI).
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively (verbally and in writing) with a range of stakeholders.
• Confident working with processes and workflows; able to spot opportunities to streamline, standardise and reduce manual admin.

• Lead WAUK annual planning process. Support WAUK ED Finance, Technology and Strategic Planning to develop UK business plan.

• Coordinate global and WAUK reporting at year end, ensuring a coherent narrative over time that provides clarity for UK Board and WaterAid international Board.

We’re looking for a Supporter Care Executive to join our team

Salary:  £28,390

Base: Central Edinburgh/hybrid

Hours: Full time and permanent.  35 hours a week (9am-5pm Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break). The office is open 8am - 7pm daily and our hybrid working policy requires all full-time employees to work at least two days a week in the Edinburgh office.

As the first point of contact for Worldwide Cancer Research, you’ll be a positive ambassador for our Curestarters and our mission. You share our values and are motivated by the chance to play your part in starting new cancer cures.

Main purpose of job: To provide emotional and practical support and information to victims and survivors of sexual violence who have reported to the police, or are considering reporting to the police. 

Location: Hybrid: working from home, with regular attendance at CARA premises in Colchester and regular travel across mid and north Essex.

Job Description

Independent Sexual Violence Advisers (ISVAs) provide emotional and practical support and information to victims and survivors of sexual violence who have reported to the police, or are considering reporting to the police. 

The role of an ISVA is to support victims and survivors by:

·Ensuring their voice is heard.

·Helping them make the choices that feel right for them.

·Accompanying them to important appointments and to court.

·Supporting them with their next steps after the legal process is over, regardless of the outcome of the case.

If victims and survivors are considering reporting to the police, ISVAs can also help them by:

·Providing impartial information to enable them to make an informed decision.

·Offering an overview of police processes and what to expect if they do decide to report.

·Supporting them in their next steps.

CARA provides an ISVA service to adults, young people and children who have been victims of sexual violence from across mid and North Essex, and Uttlesford.

Most ISVA clients are referred to CARA through the Police or the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC).  Clients can also refer themselves.

Duties and Responsibilities

For all clients

· To liaise with CARA’s Information and Referrals Coordinator and First Contact Navigators in supporting new referrals to the ISVA service.

· To undertake risk assessment and support needs analysis with clients.

· To develop individual service plans to address risks/support needs of clients. 

· To help clients access services to which they are entitled, e.g. through setting up fast-track referral systems to sexual health follow-up services, making referrals to mental health services, assisting with return to work/absence from work arrangements.

· To provide face-to-face and telephone support (non-therapeutic) to clients and their supporters where appropriate. 

· To help clients to develop their own support network.

· To explain criminal, legal and if relevant, civil remedies to clients.

· To provide information in relation to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme.

· Where relevant and with client’s consent, to keep other agencies informed about important changes in client’s situation.

· To consider safeguarding issues and follow CARA’s safeguarding policy and procedures.

If a client reports to the Police

· To support the client throughout their time in the criminal justice system, explaining the procedures and their role and rights within it.

· Subject to local arrangements and their wishes, to support the client at every step; from the provision of their witness statement through to a trial.

· To liaise with the police and CPS on behalf of the client.  To keep them informed about the progress of their case on behalf of the police in line with the requirements of the Victims Code of Practice.

· To participate in case conferences with the police and CPS. 

· To understand and support the need for some clients to access special measures.

General

· To manage a caseload of around 50 clients (pro rata), including adults, young people and children.

· To travel to client meetings in a variety of settings, including outreach premises and clients’ homes.

· To maintain and monitor records, using a purpose-built online database.

· To follow procedures and protocols so that the safety of the client is kept central to any process.

· To note and feedback to other agencies any difficulties clients are having accessing their service.

· To contribute to the development of service policies, protocols, guidelines and strategies within areas of practice as necessary. 

· To develop and maintain effective communication systems with key partners including the police, CPS, HMCTS, social services, education, primary care trust (mental and sexual health), Victim Support, Witness Service, CAFCASS and voluntary sector organisations.

·To participate in team meetings, supervision, training and development. 

·To participate in co-location working within Colchester and Chelmsford police stations.

· To provide specialist advice to other workers and agencies, including participation in the delivery of training sessions.

About this role

The Philanthropy Manager will own an assigned portfolio of prospects and donors at five to six figure level and act as the day-to-day relationship manager within that portfolio.

What you'll be doing

In this role you will be the first point of contact with all of our wonderful volunteers, who are critical to the success of our work.  You will work closely to support the 5s to 13s Befriending Manager and other service leads to ensure smooth delivery of event and training activities. BACKGROUND

Church of England Birmingham (CofEB) is on a journey of growing churches at the heart of every community. Through this we are seeing growth in many exciting ways. Financially we are at a challenging point. We have had an operational deficit for a number of years and this cannot continue. The National Church has agreed to partner with us around this through their Diocesan Investment Programme enabling us to have the time, and resource, to tackle this head on. One key aspect of this is for us to increase our Common Fund returns (the giving from our parishes that supports the costs of our life together). We are taking a radical new approach to our finances which includes intentional reallocation of income to support the costs in our most economically deprived parishes and deeper relationships with each parish around finance through conversation rather than correspondence. Over the next five years we are hoping to be able to move to a financially sustainable platform which will enable us to better serve our communities in the future.

We have recently recruited a new Head of Generosity, who is also Bishops Advisor for Common Fund, to lead on this work and we are now looking to recruit the team to work with them. The focus of the team is to develop long term relationships with all of our parishes leading to:

• Greater support for our parishes.
• Increased generosity by, and within, our parishes.
• Increased Common Fund.

The current plan is to recruit two Giving & Generosity Advisor roles and one Giving & Generosity Support Officer role. Together this team will work with all of our parishes to roll out our financial approach, through in person meetings, and the support that is on offer as part of this. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary focus of this role is to work with parishes to:

• Understand their current financial situation and how this links to the wider Church of England Birmingham situation.
• Understand our model and how support is on offer for parishes who are economically deprived.
• Assess with them the support needed to increase generosity and giving at a local level and create an action plan around this that is bespoke and contextual.
• Create a long-term plan for their participation in the common fund.

We have 146 parishes and the Head of Generosity will manage the team so that all parishes can be engaged as quickly as possible. It is the Head of Generosity and two Giving & Generosity Advisors who will be carrying out the in-person meetings with each parish. These roles will work closely with a range of people and teams across Church of England Birmingham so that this work is integrated within our wider strategy and parishes are not confused by multiple disjointed initiatives. This will mean working with Archdeacons and Area Deans, Mission Support Team, Ministry Team, Property Team, Finance Team, Community Regeneration Team and Communications Team as well as others.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Develop strong relationships with parishes that will enable this project to flourish and also help increase the connection between parishes and the DBF. Signposting to other teams and projects will be important.
• Inspiring and encouraging parishes in their Christian approach to giving and generosity
• Creating bespoke multiyear plans for Common Fund with parishes with the support of a Steering Group that includes the Archdeacons and other key stakeholders.
• Provide consultancy, resources, and hands-on support to parishes to grow regular giving, legacies, and other forms of financial support. This work will be able to draw on the resources developed by the national church as well as the data held on their Cornerstone Grants Platform. The post-holder will be expected to engage in the work of the National Giving Team as part of the development of these wider resources.
• Develop and deliver training for clergy, lay leaders and PCCs on the theology and Christian practice of giving and generosity and also practical financial management (in conjunction with the Finance Team).
• Work closely with the Finance Team in matters of technical accounting, governance and financial management identified as needed by parishes.
• Encourage and assist parishes in the implementation of the Parish Giving Scheme, introduction of contactless giving mechanisms and related diocesan resources.
• Source, develop and curate practical resources (digital and print) to support local stewardship campaigns and initiatives.

• Evaluate the impact of stewardship and generosity initiatives and adapt strategies accordingly to achieve the project outcomes.
• Working with our Communications Team, create compelling communication tools that articulate the impact of generosity.

As we are looking to recruit two people into these roles there is flexibility to appoint people with complementary skill sets who may have greater expertise in certain elements of the role.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The post-holder will be employed by the Diocesan Board of Finance for a fixed term ending on 2nd November 2030, subject to funding.

Salary and Pension: Salary of £35,000 plus membership of the Church Worker’s Pension Scheme with 12% employer contribution. We are open to discussion especially if you are ordained and are moving out of parish ministry.

Finance Manager

We are delighted to work with Westway CT who, due to retirement, are now seeking an experienced, qualified Finance Manager.

Westway CT is a non-profit social enterprise tackling isolation and creating community in West London through the provision of transport services and dedicated drivers offering a lifeline for community groups, older people, and anyone facing challenges using public transport across Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, and Hammersmith & Fulham.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager who, reporting to the CEO, will play a key role in the running of two interconnected entities; a registered society, and its trading arm, which supports and subsidises their charitable aims. In so doing, the successful candidate will be helping to lead the way in a sustainable community benefit model that creates its own income by being part of the wider London transport mix, contributing to the local economy and working towards better air quality.

With line management responsibility of the Finance Officer, you will be an accredited qualified accountant, preferably with non-profit sector experience, with the ability to lead on the financial management of the organisation.

The Finance Manager is accountable for:

• Financial strategy and planning
• Financial management and reporting
• Strategic level income generation
• Payroll, staff remuneration and pension contributions
• Stakeholder collaboration and promotion of Westway CT values

The successful candidate will:

• Demonstrate a strong track record of managing a finance function producing budgets, management accounts, cash flow forecasts and financial reports
• Have an excellent working knowledge of charity and company governance, including reporting standards and preparation of statutory accounts, as well HMRC, PAYE and Pension regulations.
• Be able to conduct financial scenario planning and cost analysis to proactively contribute to the strategic and operational planning and improvement of the organisation (i.e. in the case of investments and capital assets, grant applications, contract tendering, customer pricing, and credit control.)
• Be an efficient, highly organised team player with good communication skills, working effectively with internal colleagues, external stakeholders and suppliers of varying financial experience.
• Provide excellent line management and role modelling for your reports and colleagues to encourage professional development.
• An accredited qualified accountant (ACCA) (CIMA) or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably within the non-profit sector
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Sage 50, Quickbooks and/or another similar accounting software

Responsible for the day-to-day finances, you will have a hands-on approach, exceptional time management skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines in order to make an active contribution to the success and growth of Westway CT who are passionate about their community and making a tangible difference to the lives of local residents.
