You'll support volunteer facilitators and partners to grow SMART Recovery meetings across the South of England (excluding London), making our 4-Point Programme(s) more accessible to people managing addictive behaviour(s):
- South East: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey, West Sussex
- South West: Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Swindon, Wiltshire
Applicants must reside in the South of England, excluding London.
Job share considered: One employee can cover both regions, but we're open to a job share, i.e. one person for the South East 3 days per week, another for the South West. If full-time or dual-region work isn't feasible, please still apply.
What you'll need:
- Hands-on experience facilitating groups/meetings and an understanding of great facilitation.
- General awareness of addiction recovery and/or our 4-Point Programme(s); being a qualified SMART Recovery or SMART Family & Friends Facilitator, or former participant, is an advantage.
- Ability to bring people together, champion our mission, and create a safe, empowering space for growth and recovery.
- Strong presentation skills that engage, inspire, and inform, with volunteers, via Zoom training, or partners.

Essential experience:

As a home-based role, you'll build meaningful relationships remotely, via email, phone, and video calls, bringing energy and adaptability to make remote working feel personal and productive. Regular travel across your region(s) is essential, visiting meetings and partners and supporting facilitators.

South East London Mind's Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Employment Service helps people experiencing mental health challenges to secure and sustain paid employment.
We are currently recruiting:
- Five permanent IPS Employment Specialists in Greenwich
- Two permanent IPS Employment Specialists in Bromley
These roles will be embedded within Community Mental Health Teams and the Mental Health Hub, working closely alongside healthcare professionals and Mental Health Advisers.
As an IPS Employment Specialist, you will support people referred by clinical teams and Mental Health Advisers, helping them achieve their employment aspirations through the evidence-based IPS model. You will manage a caseload of approximately 20 to 25 clients, providing personalised support from vocational profiling through to securing employment and sustaining work in line with their preference. Full IPS training will be provided.
A significant part of your role will take place in the community rather than behind a desk. You will actively engage and build relationship with local employers, develop local employment opportunities, identify vacancies that may not be advertised, and negotiate workplace adjustments or job carving opportunities to support clients into suitable employment.
You will also contribute to weekly multidisciplinary meetings with colleagues from Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust to ensure employment support is fully integrated within clients' wider recovery journey.

Myasthenia gravis, ocular myasthenia and Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome are autoimmune conditions whereas congenital myasthenic syndrome is caused by an inherited genetic fault. It is thought that there are approximately 20,000 people currently living with myasthenia in the UK.

About The Role
The Food Bank Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and delivery of Southwark Foodbank, ensuring people experiencing financial hardship can access emergency food with dignity, compassion and respect.
The postholder will coordinate Foodbank sessions, support volunteers, maintain effective operational systems and build positive relationships with clients, referral agencies and community partners. This is a new role at High Trees, created because we believe Lambeth’s voluntary and community sector (VCS) is one of the borough’s greatest assets – strong, skilled and rooted in the communities it serves. Place-based organisations like ours play a vital role in supporting individuals, strengthening communities, growing local economies and shaping the policy decisions that affect the people we work with. We want a dedicated Manager who can help make that case, loudly and effectively, both within High Trees and across the wider system.
A key part of this role is our contract to deliver capacity building support to Lambeth’s VCS, commissioned by the local authority and delivered through the Lambeth Hubs Partnership – but this is one strand of a much bigger picture. We want this role to think beyond any single contract, taking a long-term view of what Lambeth’s VCS infrastructure support needs to look like, and leading the development of new approaches, including peer support models and a more circular economy across the sector.
Health and wellbeing is increasingly shaping where funding and investment in our sector flows, and we want Lambeth’s VCS to be ready and well-positioned to respond to this shift. You will play a leading role in this, working with partners including the SEL VCS Alliance to develop shared practice across South East London boroughs, and ensuring our sector’s voice is heard as these opportunities develop.
This role is as much strategic as it is operational – we’re never too far from the ground at High Trees, and you’ll be expected to lead on much of the day-to-day delivery yourself. That means designing and delivering workshops and one-to-one capacity building support, developing resources and toolkits, and running networking events that bring Lambeth’s VCS together. You’ll also build a network of trusted delivery partners – freelancers and facilitators, ideally drawn from within our own sector – helping to keep skills, income and opportunity circulating within Lambeth’s VCS.
As VCS Capacity Building Manager, you will lead High Trees’ work to strengthen Lambeth’s voluntary and community sector, acting as an advocate for High Trees and a champion for the wider sector, while managing funded contracts and programmes that support local organisations to grow their skills, systems and impact.
The role combines strategic leadership – shaping High Trees’ contribution to the future of VCS infrastructure support, and representing the sector within key partnerships – with hands-on operational delivery, including direct capacity building support, training and events. Policy Engagement Manager - 12-month Fixed Term Contract

Context and purpose of role
By 2034 Ramblers ambition is that everyone in England and Wales will be able to join a Wellbeing Walk close to where they live – for communities to come together and experience the health and wellbeing benefits of walking. This work is part of the strategic plan and business objectives of Ramblers GB.
The role will deliver the Walking Together Project across communities in north London, Slough and Reading. The role will engage directly with the most disadvantaged communities, where loneliness, social isolation and inactivity could be prevalent, through a ‘Getting Started’ Wellbeing Walks programme. This is a community delivery role to work with local communities to establish walks and find potential walk leaders within the community to sustain walking.

· Deliver the Ramblers Getting Started element of the Walking Together Project
