We are now looking for an enthusiastic and organised Events Fundraiser to join our Fundraising and Communications Team for a two-year contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a diverse and engaging programme of events at a pivotal time for the charity, as we build towards our next large-scale art trail in 2028 following the success of Elmer’s Big Parade Blackpool.
In this role, you will support the development, planning and delivery of a wide range of fundraising events across the Fylde coast. You will take ownership of key events within the portfolio, managing everything from initial planning and promotion through to on-the-day delivery and post-event evaluation. Your work will ensure that every event is safe, well organised and provides an exceptional experience for participants and supporters.
You will play an important role in engaging and supporting participants throughout their journey, helping them feel motivated, valued and connected to Trinity Hospice. Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, marketing and communications, you will help deliver compelling campaigns that drive participation and maximise income. You will also use data and insight to monitor performance, evaluate success and identify opportunities to improve and grow the events programme.

The Research & Partnerships Directorate is a fast paced, collaborative team committed to achieving Alzheimer’s Research UK’s vision. The Directorate has responsibility for delivering on the charity’s principal remit: funding world-class research to ultimately defeat dementia. Key Responsibilities:
Research impact assessment, analysis & dissemination
· Lead the day-to-day collation and analysis of research impact across ARUK’s funded portfolio.
o Collate, clean and maintain impact data (e.g. researcher reports, publications and online sources such as Dimensions) to enable consistent, high-quality reporting.
o Analyse and synthesise findings into clear, decision-ready insights, supported by visualisations and (where appropriate) dashboards.
o Turn impact evidence into engaging content (e.g. case studies, summaries and graphics briefs) and partner with the Communications Team to make it ready for internal and external use.
· Own the day-to-day development of the Impact Hub—our internal repository of research impact—spotting standout examples of progress (e.g. career development, collaborations, guideline influence) enabled by sustained ARUK funding and shaping them into strong case studies.
· Partner with fundraising teams to understand their evidence needs and identify new opportunities to bring research impact to life for supporters.
· Help improve and embed reporting processes that strengthen how we evaluate and communicate the impact of ARUK-funded research.
Data analysis, Evidence & Evaluation
· Provide responsive data collection, analysis and reporting support across the Research & Partnerships Directorate and wider organisation, working closely with the Evidence Manager.
o Examples include: portfolio trends, geographic spread, career outcomes and collaboration mapping.
· Support the Evidence Manager to deliver ARUK’s Strategic Performance Measurement Framework—tracking and reporting KPIs for senior leadership and trustees.
· Continuously improve systems and workflows, streamlining data handling and building reusable templates and dashboards (e.g. automation in Excel/Power Query, Power BI data models, standard operating procedures).
External ambassador for research impact
· Build expertise in research impact assessment by engaging with organisations such as the AMRC and attending relevant workshops and meetings.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, in particular ARUK-funded researchers and other funding bodies, spotting opportunities to advance ARUK’s research aims.
· Represent ARUK at national and international events and conferences, helping to position the charity as an authority on research impact.

Main Purpose of the Role
This new role aims to support the design, coordination and delivery of Action Duchenne’s events portfolio, including the Annual Community Summit, regional meetups, workshops, and online events. The role will ensure smooth operational delivery, high‑ quality participant experiences, accessible information, and effective logistics‑ and supplier coordination.
This role contributes directly to our organisational impact by ensuring families, young people, professionals and partners have access to engaging, supportive and well managed events. Specific Tasks
1. Event Coordination and Logistics
Support the planning and delivery of the Annual Community Summit, working closely with the Chief Scientific Officer, Director of Fundraising and Communications, and wider team.
Coordinate logistics for in‑person and online events, including venue liaison, catering, accessibility arrangements, equipment, travel, accommodation and schedules.
Ensure event details are accurately published and updated across relevant platforms (website, CRM, communications channels).
Manage registration processes for all events and ensure attendees receive timely, accurate joining information.
Support the organisation of regional meet‑ups and workshops, ensuring venues, facilitators and resources are in place.

The Financial Wellbeing Coach is a new post that will play a key role in strengthening the financial resilience of nursing and midwifery professionals. Working directly with individuals, the post holder will help Nurses, Midwives, Nursing Associates, Healthcare Assistants and Maternity Support Workers to build financial literacy, develop budgeting skills, set realistic financial goals, and improve money management. The role combines one-to-one coaching with group workshops and digital support, helping people to gain confidence in managing day-to-day finances and planning for their future. BASED AT: BoB Head Office (69 Warwick Road, Earls Court, London, SW5 9HB). The role will involve regular visits to our London services both during the week and at the weekend. There is the option for one day of hybrid working per week.
REPORTS TO: Head of Services
JOB PURPOSE: To cultivate, sustain and manage a volunteer pipeline to help with the effective delivery of our face-to-face services in London; enhance the development and wellbeing of our volunteer team(s), and support the volunteers in the facilitation of activities for our beneficiaries, supporting those who wish to do so to become ready for potential employment within the charity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Volunteer management & development
· Support service managers to recruit, induct and train a cohort of volunteers from the local treatment and recovery community, as well as other local community members, ensuring they are trained and supported to undertake their roles safely and with confidence.
· Develop a range of volunteering pathways, with a focus on supporting those who identify as being in recovery as well as those still in structured treatment, creating opportunities that enhance social connectivity, build personal and professional skills, and provide meaningful activity.
· Work with service managers to ensure volunteers receive regular and appropriate supervision, and their wellbeing is monitored and supported.
· Work with service managers to ensure individuals are encouraged and supported to deliver a range of creative and socially based activities within our services, based upon their interests and life skills.
· Work with service managers to ensure volunteer inductions are conducted according to the policies of the charity and that accurate records of their volunteering are kept on our case management system.
· Deliver the five core training workshops in person at the services to the volunteer team(s) and work with the CEO to ensure the training is relevant, accurate and up to date.
· Support and encourage those volunteers who wish to do so to progress through the volunteer programme, attend the relevant training, and undertake the role of team leader, with a focus on potential employment within the charity and elsewhere.
· Work with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and enhance the volunteer offer across all of our London services.

2. Programme delivery & coordination
· Collaborate with local community organisations and partners to establish and deliver a programme of cultural, physical, and wellbeing activities that support social connection, encourage participation in safe social networks and help to improve mental and physical health.
· Plan, coordinate and evaluate activities with the wider staff team to ensure high-quality, trauma-informed opportunities for volunteers that support sustained recovery where appropriate.
· Work closely with local service managers to ensure referrals to other service providers where necessary to support the wellbeing of volunteers.
· Work with service managers to identify opportunities in the wider community that would support the development, wellbeing and social integration of volunteers where appropriate.

3. Outreach & community inclusion
· Coordinate outreach sessions in the community with service managers and the volunteer team to increase the visibility of our services and develop wider partnership working and stakeholder management where appropriate.
· Identify external training sources that may be of benefit to the members of the volunteer team, and support individuals to access such training where appropriate.
· Work with our stakeholders and local drug and alcohol treatment providers to ensure that volunteering opportunities within the charity are available to anyone who wishes to apply, and individuals are supported to do so.

· Manage project goals and expenditure in line with set budgets, working with colleagues to ensure accurate monitoring, and reporting.

· Ensure volunteering data is accurately recorded on our case management system and work with members of the senior leadership team to ensure relevant data is available for our partners, the Board of Trustees and other stakeholders when required.
· Work with service managers to ensure data is collected from our volunteer teams and service users for impact evaluations and case studies as required.
5. General
· Organize annual volunteer events as agreed with the Senior Leadership Team.
· To work with the Operations and Training Managers, Innovation and Development Manager and the Head of Services supporting the development of the weekend services and the management of volunteers.
· To contribute content for social media channels, the organisation’s website, and newsletter.

This role leads the operational development of Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland’s Major Gifts, Individual Giving and Legacy programmes, and support in the development of Trust & Foundation applications.
As a new area of focus for the organisation, the postholder will be responsible for designing, launching and growing a full supporter journey for individual donors—from regular giving through to mid‑value, major gifts and Legacy giving. They will build and manage a strong pipeline of donors and prospects, cultivating long‑term philanthropic support for the charity.
The role also carries responsibility for developing strategic corporate partnerships with a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) alignment, and values‑led partnerships that deliver sustainable mutual benefit.

About the role
Reporting to the Programme Director of the What Works Hub for Global Education, you will communicate the programme’s mission and findings to a range of audiences – from policymakers in target countries, to leading global academics and international organisations. This will involve overseeing and delivering the Hub’s communications strategy, managing the Hub’s website and social media channels, creating and disseminating content, and coordinating with implementation partners in country, as well as offering a range of hands-on support as part of a tight project team. The role will involve working closely with our strategic and consortium partners, to ensure that communications and engagement activities are targeted effectively to different audiences and country contexts.
You will be based within the What Works Hub at the Blavatnik School of Government, as part of the Hub’s central programme team. You will also have strong links to the School’s corporate Communications and Events team, who will provide senior guidance and support on communications and engagement. This role is fixed-term until 30 June 2027.
