The successful candidate will lead on the development of a brand-new Tech and Digital Pathways to the Professions programme due to launch in Sep 2027 working with colleagues across the organisation. They will also manage and deliver, a range of other cohort-based employability programmes delivered both online and in-person. They will join a small and passionate team, led by the Head of Employability Programmes, and will play an important role in contributing to the on-going success of our programme work and industry engagement strategy.
Main duties
This role is responsible for leading on the design, planning and delivery of the new Tech and Digital programme (pre 18), alongside planning delivery for the existing employability programmes including our current Careers Plus (post-18) programmes in the tech & digital sector.
Programmes design and delivery
Design a suite of interventions and activities for the new Pathways to Tech & Digital programme for launch in September 2027 leveraging our existing Sutton Trust theory of change, previous evaluations and models adapted from existing programmes. The role will work closely with the Senior Employability Manager and other colleagues across the team responsible for employer engagement, evaluation and marketing to ensure successful launch.
Deliver existing employability programmes including our current Careers Plus (post-18) programme to launch the next cohort in April 2027, liaising with the Alumni team to ensure alignment with overall alumni engagement.
Plan, project manage and deliver a range of online and in person activities within those employability programmes including launch events, career insight activities, academic taster sessions, skills workshops, group projects, networking, information and advice sessions etc. Some activities will also be in-person at employer partners.
Liaise with colleagues in the Employer Engagement team to plan and delivery work experience placements, insight days and employer volunteering across programmes.
Design engagement and comms plans for programmes to ensure strong student engagement and retention
Work with colleagues to build and manage relationships with industry partners from across a range of sectors, who fund and support delivery across the programmes
Managepartnerships with external delivery organisations (including universities and 3rdsector facilitators) to ensure the sessions and content of the programmes meet its intended aims
Ensure all events and activities are risk assessed and delivered in line with both health and safety and safeguarding policies and best practice
Liaise with colleagues in the evaluation team to manage the monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning across programmes supporting strong response rates, stakeholder reporting and adapting programme design and delivery based on feedback.

Your role
We are seeking a Finance & Operations Leader to lead Design for Good’s finance, operations and organisational effectiveness, combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director (MD), you will lead the organisation’s core finance, operational and enabling functions, ensuring we have the financial and operational infrastructure, people systems and governance frameworks needed to deliver our mission.
This is a hands-on senior leadership role, suited to someone who is both strategically minded and operationally confident — a collaborative leader who can lead suppliers, strengthen systems and financial processes, and take ownership of day-to-day operational delivery in a growing global charity.
Key Responsibilities
Financial leadership, planning and sustainability
● Support the MD in developing the annual organisational budget and take overall responsibility for financial performance, controls and processes.
● Work closely with the external accountants to ensure timely and accurate management accounts, annual accounts, financial reports, forecasts reporting for the MD, Board and Finance Committee.
● Take ownership of cash-flow forecasting, reserves management, financial planning and financial controls to support the organisation’s long-term financial sustainability.

Key Requirements

hakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking an experienced Payroll Manager, on a permanent, part-time basis (21 Hours per week), who can build and maintain collaborate relationships across the organisation.

The role:
This role is responsible for managing and overseeing the in-house payroll and pension functions at the Globe. The role ensures that there is a compliant, accurate and timely payroll for approximately 375 permanent employees, and a further 400 variable workforce of casual, PAYE and non-PAYE workers via monthly and weekly payrolls across the year. Oversight and account management of four pension schemes (NOW pensions, Aviva, Equity, and Musicians Union) is also a key part of this role. The Payroll Manager works with Payroll Assistant and other key stakeholders across departments to create automated process, ensure appropriate controls are in place, problem solve payroll and pension queries, and to make sure our systems are working for the organisation.
The Payroll Manager is responsible for preparing payroll outputs and reports for review; ensuring that final authorisation, sign-off and release of payroll payments are forwarded timely to senior members of the Finance and People & Culture teams, in line with agreed controls and delegated authorities. The Payroll Manager escalates exceptions, narrative for variances, policy deviations and high-risk items for decision and approval.

The Role
As our Evidence and Impact Manager, you will lead the development and continual improvement of our Outcomes Framework, helping us evidence progress towards our vision of ‘Transformation through Forests’.
Working to deliver our vision for nature, communities and enterprise, you’ll establish meaningful metrics, effective data collection, evaluation and reporting processes.
Managing a small team, you will oversee the generation and delivery of robust evidence and insight, translating complex information for a range of audiences to inform decision-making, support programme development, and inform external messaging for communications and advocacy work.
Additionally, you will:
- Oversee reporting for the Defra England Tree Planting Programme
- Line manage a Grants Officer who administers £2m of grants for forest creation and woodland management
Some evening and weekend work may be required, for which time off in lieu will apply, and you may also need to travel to sites across rural locations.
About You
To be considered as our Evidence and Impact Manager, you will need:
- At least five years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience of leading corporate performance monitoring and reporting within the environmental field
- Proven experience of using GIS for dataset analysis and the presentation of spatial information
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research and information presentation techniques
- An understanding of the benefits of tree planting and habitat creation for nature, communities and enterprise
- A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification

The Opportunity
We are supporting an established UK animal welfare charity with the appointment of a Database & Fundraising Manager on an initial 7-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for the position to become permanent. Ideally able to travel to the Kent office Wednesday's but not essential.
This is a hands-on fundraising operations role with responsibility for the charity's CRM, supporter data, income processing, reconciliations, direct debits, lottery administration and fundraising campaign data.
You will work closely with the fundraising team, senior leadership and external accountants and suppliers, taking ownership of accurate data and efficient processes during a period of transition.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the charity's Raiser’s Edge CRM, including data entry, cleansing, imports, exports and supporter records.
Produce data selections, segmentation, reports and analysis for fundraising and communications.
Manage direct debit and standing order administration, including uploads, cancellations, unpaid payments and reconciliations.
Reconcile fundraising income against bank and accounting records and investigate discrepancies.
Oversee lottery administration, including membership records, monthly draws and winner communications.
Support fundraising appeals through data selections, exports and coordination with external mailing suppliers.
Monitor fundraising income and produce accurate reports.
Maintain database processes, documentation and data quality.
Provide general fundraising and supporter administration as required.
About You
We're looking for an experienced fundraising database, CRM, data or income-processing professional with:
Proven experience using Raiser’s Edge or a comparable fundraising CRM.
Advanced Excel and strong data-management skills.
Experience working with large datasets, imports/exports, segmentation and reporting.
Experience with direct debits, standing orders, income processing or financial reconciliation.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
A good understanding of CRM data quality and best practice.
Charity or fundraising experience is desirable but not essential.
