The Senior Research Manager role is a fantastic opportunity focusing on producing research, analysis and insights that support our UK prevention mission. The role can be based in either our London or Glasgow office and will report into our Head of Research.

What does the role involve?

•Write compelling insight reports for internal and external audiences.

•Generating evidence, insights and research, including analysis of existing data (evidence reviews, secondary analysis), primary quantitative research & comparative research between nations.

•Developing policy-facing briefings, gathering relevant public mental health evidence and statistics.

What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?

Marketing Delivery Officer

What the job involves 

As a Marketing Delivery Officer within the Integrated Marketing and Media team, you’ll play a central role in bringing communications plans to life. Working closely with colleagues across the Communications Directorate, you’ll coordinate the delivery of content and channel activity so priority communications land effectively and on time. 

You’ll oversee delivery across a wide range of channels, coordinating content outlined in communications plans and delivering against priorities set by Communications Business Partners and Product Owners. A big part of the role involves working with delivery teams to understand their lead times, briefing needs and how to get the best outcomes from collaborative working. You’ll work on projects with teams across the charity, including sector-leading virtual fundraising challenge products, sporting events such as London Marathon, in-person events like March for Men, projects to promote our support services, Corporate Partnerships and much more. You’ll also liaise with our external media agency to support the delivery of content for paid media campaigns. 

As part of cross-functional product teams, you’ll stay close to evolving priorities and take ownership of the production and delivery of communications activity. This includes copywriting, editing and reviewing content, developing creative briefs and overseeing delivery of the communications plan. You’ll coordinate asset requests, organise briefings and channel planning sessions, and help connect product teams with delivery teams so everyone is aligned and working efficiently. You’ll get to work with teams across the organisation and get to see first-hand the work we’re doing to give men the power to navigate prostate cancer.

What we want from you 

You’ll be highly organised, with the ability to calmly balance planned and reactive work while keeping a solutions‑focused mindset. You’ll be a confident communicator, comfortable translating complex or technical information into clear, engaging content for general audiences, and skilled at building trusted relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and external partners. 

You’ll bring experience of copywriting for different channels, along with copy editing and reviewing skills, and have a solid grounding in creative content production, creative briefing and ideation. Practical experience using tools such as Canva will be important, as will project management expertise and familiarity with collaboration tools like Trello or Monday. 

Strong analytical skills are essential, enabling you to quickly digest complex information and respond effectively, even when working to tight deadlines. Above all, you’ll be a collaborative team player who enjoys working across functions, engaging stakeholders and helping teams deliver their best work together.

How and where we work

OUTpatients is seeking an experienced Education and Policy Manager who can help us reach people all over the UK with our sector leading education and policy advisory. Our holiday and weekend activities give parents and carers a break while providing participants with a safe, welcoming space to have fun and receive the care they need. Our coordinators plan, arrange and deliver a programme of activities shaped around the needs of the young people, making the most of local opportunities, from heritage sites and outdoor adventures, to sports, arts and crafts, cooking, and team challenges. These sessions help children build friendships, grow in confidence, and express themselves in a fun, supportive space.

Family day activities bring families together to create special memories and enjoy time with others who share similar experiences. Coordinators develop and facilitate activity days which involve the whole family and provide opportunities to build friendships and connections with others. Activities take place at outdoor centres, local heritage sites and museums, as well as organised beach days and community centre-based workshops and activities.

About The Role

Head of Insight and Impact is an exciting new leadership role for Home-Start UK at a critical time as we develop and prepare to launch our new, federation-wide strategy in early 2027. You will ensure we make best use of the data and evidence that we already hold and build the insight-led culture we need to deliver on our mission.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Lead the development of a shared, federation-wide approach to impact measurement, transforming how we understand, evidence and communicate the difference that Home-Start makes to babies, children and families.
• Develop and embed data systems, tools and capabilities at Home-Start UK and across our federation, aligning with and enabling delivery of our new strategy.
• Design and lead a consistent approach to monitoring and evaluating the support we provide at Home-Start UK to our federation, ensuring outcomes and learning are captured and shared.
• Lead Home-Start UK’s Impact Team and work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation and with local Home-Start teams, leveraging collective skills and expertise.
• In this busy and varied role, you will put insight and impact at the heart of our work. In a typical day you could be working with our data analyst to visualise and present the results of our latest National Data Return to the Executive Leadership Team, running a feedback session with local Home-Start teams piloting new outcome measures, and/or ensuring colleagues in our Fundraising Team have the insight they need for proposal development.

Ultimately, your efforts will help ensure that our movement can reach and support more families with babies and children facing their toughest times.

KSAAS (formerly East Kent Rape Crisis Centre) has provided sexual violence services in East Kent since 1981. We offer ongoing practical support and therapeutic services for survivors who have experienced any form of sexual violence, at any time in their lives, across Kent & Medway.

KSAAS holds UKAS accreditation through The Survivors Trust and is Professionally Approved by Rape Crisis England & Wales, demonstrating the consistent, high-quality services we provide.

KSAAS operates specialist Independent Sexual Violence Adviser (ISVA) services, including joint ISVA and Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA) provision for those experiencing sexual violence alongside domestic abuse.

We also offer trauma-focused therapeutic counselling for children, adolescents and adults, accessible through hubs across Kent & Medway.

Core functions

• Work as a committed member of the Kent Sexual Assault & Abuse Service (KSAAS) team.
• Support KSAAS’s aims, values and working principles, and work in line with KSAAS policies and procedures.
• Take all possible steps to ensure the safety and confidentiality of service users, staff, volunteers and KSAAS management.

Specific duties

• Provide support to children and young people, and their families, through a range of channels as appropriate, including face-to-face, video, text and telephone.
• Travel to schools and community venues to provide support as required by your caseload.
• Contact young people or the parents/carers of allocated child service users in a timely and professional manner.
• Work with children and young people who are survivors of sexual abuse to promote their emotional and physical wellbeing.
• Listen to service users’ needs and use a trauma-informed approach to develop an appropriate support plan.
• Undertake risk and needs assessments and provide ongoing support and advice on risk management.
• Support service users to report (if they choose to), and through each stage of the criminal justice process, explaining procedures and their rights and entitlements, including under the Victims’ Code.
• Support service users to make informed choices about their options.
• Support service users to access the services they need and to which they are entitled.
• Support service users to identify and work towards personal goals.
• Work in line with data protection legislation (including UK GDPR) and confidentiality requirements when working within multi-agency protocols.

Due to the nature of work at KSAAS, tasks and responsibilities can be unpredictable and varied. The Pepper Foundation is a local charity funding children’s hospice care at home, specialised play and family days for children living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. 

The Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser will be joining Pepper at an exciting time as we launch our new three-year fundraising strategy. Backed by committed investment and with full Board approval, we are delighted to be growing the charity to deliver sustainable income that directly supports local children and families with hospice care in the comfort of their own homes.

Working closely with the Head of Trusts & Foundations, you will play a pivotal role in increasing income from trusts and foundations by developing and managing a strong pipeline of funders, securing new grants, and building long-term relationships that lead to increased and multi-year support. You will research and prepare compelling applications to both new and existing funders, alongside producing timely, engaging reports that clearly demonstrate impact.

This role requires a highly organised and motivated individual with a passion for writing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver exceptional cultivation, stewardship and relationship management of trusts and foundations aligned with our mission.

Your work will directly support hospice at home care, specialist play services, and meaningful family days out for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions – making a tangible difference to families during the most difficult of times.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week working from home – applicants must live within Hertfordshire or Buckinghamshire (or surrounding counties)

Salary: £19,800 per annum for 22.5 hours per week (£33,000 FTE per annum)

Key requirements:
