We're a small, passionate team and we're growing. We're looking for a Marketing and Events Officer who's creative, organised, and ready to make their work mean something.
This is a genuinely varied role. One day you might be crafting a social media campaign, the next you're coordinating our presence at a national sector conference. You'll create content, manage our channels, write newsletters and press releases, produce video case studies, and help run events that raise both awareness and funds. You'll work closely with our Marketing and Events Manager and have real ownership over your work.

As Gaming Partnerships Executive, you will manage and grow a portfolio of existing gaming partners, identifying opportunities to deepen engagement and maximise their involvement in War Child campaigns. You will act as a visible ambassador for War Child within the gaming industry, attending events, building new connections and raising the profile of our work to unlock new opportunities for collaboration and income generation.
As part of our growing Philanthropy and Partnerships department, you will work closely with colleagues across Partnerships, Communications and Digital Marketing to develop strong pitches, proposals and activations that deliver real impact for children affected by war.
The team regularly comes together in our London office for collaboration, meetings and relationship-building, and the successful candidate will be expected to attend these in person where appropriate.

Your role
The Gaming Partnerships Executive will work closely with the Gaming Lead to grow the team’s income sustainably by focusing primarily on business development and managing a portfolio of gaming relationships. You will seek out and build new relationships with developers, games publishers, platforms and gaming communities to contribute to the pipeline of new gaming partnerships and opportunities for War Child. You will also manage a portfolio of gaming relationships that will be called on to join our campaigns and activations throughout the year. As a key member of War Child’s award-winning Gaming team, you will have a direct impact on the lives of children who have been affected by conflict.
Your responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of gaming sector relationships, developing long-term engagement plans and identifying opportunities in support of our campaigns to increase strategic and income value..
- Support the delivery of our strategic partnership with Jingle Jam, as directed by the Gaming Partnerships Manager.
- With the Gaming Lead, build a pipeline of prospective gaming partners inclusive of developers, publishers, creators, platforms and the wider gaming community to support the sustainable growth of the Gaming Team.
- Personally lead on researching, approaching and securing new gaming partners, working towards your own new business target annually.
- Contribute to the development of pitches, proposals, cultivation plans and presentations to potential gaming partners
- Work collaboratively with the Gaming Team on developing and implementing the campaigns calendar.
- Build strong relationships with other teams in War Child (Partnerships, Communications, Digital Marketing), representing the Gaming Team where appropriate in working groups to enable smooth delivery of propositions, pitches, activations and campaigns.
- Act as a War Child Ambassador in the gaming industry, attending events and conferences to raise the profile of War Child and make new connections to support business development.
- Support the marketing and promotion of all gaming activations to maximise audience engagement.
- Contribute to team-wide income forecasting and annual planning processes.
- Use all tools available to ensure compliance and our ethical fundraising policy are adhered to, this includes partnership agreements, due diligence processes, CRM database management as well as GDPR and fundraising regulations.
- Contribute to creating a culture committed to the safeguarding of children and adults and compliant to War Child’s Safeguarding and PSEAH (Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse & Harassment) Policies.

You are
- Knowledgeable about gaming or have worked in the sector and can demonstrate understanding of how to harness gaming communities and the industry more widely for fundraising purposes.
- Familiar with digital marketing and gaming platforms & services, e.g. Steam, Twitch, YouTube, Discord and Tiltify.
- Awareness of creator-led fundraising and community-driven campaigns and wider gaming culture.
- Able to demonstrate success in achieving financial targets through partnership management, account management, business development or sales activity, including identifying and developing new opportunities.
- An excellent communicator, confident in building and managing relationships with external and internal stakeholders with the ability to influence and negotiate.
- Able to use audience insight, engagement data or campaign performance metrics to inform partnership activity and decision-making.

About Cool Earth
Cool Earth is a climate charity that protects the rainforest by supporting the people who live there. We have been working alongside local and Indigenous rainforest communities for over 15 years in the three largest and most important rainforests in the world, the Amazon, The Congo Rainforest and the Papua New Guinea Rainforest. Indigenous and local communities have been protecting the rainforest for thousands of years, but unfortunately are now facing a humanitarian crisis, lacking necessities like safe drinking water, infrastructure, healthcare, and stable incomes.
This makes rainforest communities vulnerable to exploitation by illegal loggers and extractive industries, who pressure them to sell their land. Once these industries take over, Indigenous peoples are displaced, losing their ancestral homes, culture, and traditional ways of life, and the rainforest is destroyed. Without these forests to regulate the earth’s temperature the climate crisis will only worsen. So what do we do to help?
By working in collaboration with these communities we help support their livelihoods, improve health, sanitation and education and provide tech to help monitor their rainforest. Our main programme involves giving direct unconditional cash to rainforest communities so that they can decide how best to use it in order to improve their quality of life. Rainforest communities can only defend their land from illegal loggers and greedy land grabbers when they themselves are resilient and strong. We help them get to that point.
What you’ll be doing
Strategic leadership and impact: we have the digital strategy, now we need someone exceptional to deliver it and keep us on our upwards trajectory.
You’ll lead the charge across our website, social media and email to skyrocket our visibility and engagement. By managing our talented Digital Officer, you’ll ensure every campaign isn't just seen, but drives action. Helping to deliver the KPIs that will define our success through 2026 and 2027.
Social Media and storytelling: in collaboration with our in-country coordinators, you’ll turn raw, frontline stories from people who live in the rainforest, and experts across the team into compelling, high-quality content. You’ll also help us develop key individuals to become the face of Cool Earth’s social. You’ll oversee our organic and paid social strategies (awareness and lead gen), working with our agency partners to ensure every post and every ad isn't just noise, but a meaningful step toward increased engagement and donor conversion.
Digital innovation and website excellence: you will champion our digital home, working with our web agency to deliver a seamless, high-performing website experience. From SEO housekeeping to major content overhauls for AEO and GEO visibility, you’ll ensure our site is more than just a resource, it’s an accessible, optimised journey that captures the imagination of every visitor and converts visitors into supporters and/or donors.
PR and influence: You’ll amplify our press work to help break through the noise. By nurturing relationships with our ambassadors and seeking out global influencers, you will secure the kind of content that puts Cool Earth at the center of the climate conversation.
Movement building via email: you’ll lead our email marketing strategy, working with our fundraising team to email supporters weekly with impact, stories from the forest, quizzes and more. You’ll use DotDigital and Salesforce to build deep, automated journeys for new supporters. By working with our CRM lead, you’ll ensure our donors receive the right message at the right time, turning one-time supporters into lifelong advocates for the rainforest.
Data-Driven Growth: You’ll constantly monitor performance and review the data, providing the Head of Marketing and Communications with the insights needed so we can keep pivoting and growing.
You’ll be proactive, testing, optimising, and implementing agency recommendations to ensure our supporter base is constantly expanding and our conversion rates are always climbing.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing within a values-driven organisation. What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll gain experience across a wide range of digital marketing activities, including:
- Creating and publishing survivor-sensitive content across social media and web platforms
- Designing graphics and short-form video content (e.g. Canva, CapCut, Adobe)
- Supporting website updates and basic SEO to improve access to support services

We are investing in a new website platform that will provide an improved user experience, be built and operated using modern Tech (e.g. React, headless CMS, CI/CD) and be a foundation for continued future optimisation. The website will unlock the ability to attract more users (via increased visibility on search engines and repeat visits) and increase the number of people donating online for a cure.
This role will be the senior technology team member on the new website project team, ensuring that the solution designed and delivered primarily by our website development partner is using modern approaches and tools. In addition, this person will actively take part in the development and test of the website platform and ultimately be the internal technical owner of the platform for ARUK.
The post holder will report into the CIO but work day to day with the Digital Engagement team to deliver the new website platform.

This is a high-profile role sitting within our Performance Marketing and Digital Engagement team, with responsibility for shaping the future of the charity’s digital experience. About The Role:
It’s an exciting time at The Scouts. As part of our Skills for Life strategy, we’ve delivered an ambitious digital transformation, supporting over 150,000 volunteers and 450,000 young people every week.
As a Product Manager, you’ll lead the development of digital products that meet user needs and deliver real value. You’ll spend time listening to users, understanding their challenges, defining a clear product vision, and turning that into impactful outcomes.
Working closely with staff, volunteers, and suppliers, you’ll help continuously improve our digital tools and ensure they evolve alongside organisational needs. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact, helping deliver products that support over half a million young people each week as they gain skills for life.
As the Product Manager, you will (Key Responsibilities):
- Own and manage a portfolio of digital products, defining product vision, objectives, and long-term roadmaps aligned with organisational strategy.
- Prioritise backlogs and translate business needs into user stories, leading delivery from build and testing through to deployment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, users, and suppliers to gather requirements, solve problems, and drive successful product outcomes.
- Lead change and adoption activities, ensuring effective communication, training, and embedding of product management best practices.
- Define and track OKRs, KPIs, and success measures, using data and insights to continuously improve products and outcomes.
Who we’re looking for as our Product Manager:
- Demonstrated experience delivering digital products using agile methodologies, with strong skills in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation across the full project lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of product management, agile and lean practices, and digital platforms including CRM, CMS, mobile, and analytics tools.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to work confidently across teams, suppliers, and user groups.
- Data-driven and highly organised, able to prioritise effectively, solve complex problems, and deliver high-quality outcomes in fast-paced environments.
- User-focused and adaptable leader, passionate about digital transformation, continuous improvement, inclusivity, and balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

Young Scot is looking for an ambitious and experienced Director of Marketing and
Information to lead our national information, content, digital marketing, communications and
platform strategy at a pivotal moment of transformation.
This is a unique opportunity to shape how Scotland’s national youth information and citizenship
charity reaches, informs and engages young people aged 11–26 in an increasingly fast-moving
digital world. Central to the role will be our charitable mission, and the values that underpin
everything Young Scot does.Working alongside the CEO and Senior Leadership Team, you’ll
lead the strategic development of Young Scot’s information services, marketing activity,
communications and branding, digital platforms and audience engagement approach, ensuring
we remain relevant, trusted and innovative in how we serve young people across Scotland.
You’ll oversee the evolution of Young Scot’s digital ecosystem, including our website, app,
membership and media communications and wider content infrastructure, ensuring these
platforms are modern, scalable and future-ready.
This role requires a leader who is comfortable shaping strategy and delivering execution. You’ll
bring experience leading teams, driving audience growth, overseeing digital products and
translating emerging opportunities appropriately - including AI and new media behaviours -
into practical organisational and societal advantage.
You’ll also play a central role in ensuring Young Scot continues to deliver high-quality
commissioned campaigns, trusted information services and impactful engagement activity in
partnership with the Scottish Government, public sector partners, commercial organisations
and the wider youth sector.
