This role is responsible for managing and overseeing the in-house payroll and pension functions at the Globe. The Payroll Manager works with Payroll Assistant and other key stakeholders across departments to create automated process, ensure appropriate controls are in place, problem solve payroll and pension queries, and to make sure our systems are working for the organisation.
The Payroll Manager is responsible for preparing payroll outputs and reports for review; ensuring that final authorisation, sign-off and release of payroll payments are forwarded timely to senior members of the Finance and People & Culture teams, in line with agreed controls and delegated authorities. The Payroll Manager escalates exceptions, narrative for variances, policy deviations and high-risk items for decision and approval.

About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will provide essential support across the finance function, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions and maintaining excellent internal and external customer service standards.
