More about the role:As Fundraising & Communications Manager you will plan and deliver two organisation-wide appeals each year, with a combined income target of £300,000. You will own and grow our monthly donor programme, developing email journeys, digital content and supporter pathways that build a sustainable income stream. Alongside this, you will lead the creation of high-quality fundraising communications - from donor updates and impact stories to campaign collateral and web content - ensuring all storytelling is ethical, warm and true to who we are.

About you:We are looking for someone with proven experience delivering multi-channel fundraising appeals and growing an individual giving or monthly donor programme. We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our award-winning Content and Creative team at Friends of the Earth.

You’ll be an experienced designer bursting with creative ideas and passionate about using your skills to tell compelling stories that inspire people to take action. You’ll have the ability to develop our visual brand, to lead on the production of bold, audience-centric concepts, and to work closely with videographers and copywriters to support the organisation’s ambitious campaigning, activism and fundraising goals.

Key Skills and Attributes:

The role

The Funding Operations Officer will support the full lifecycle of grants, helping to ensure funding processes run smoothly and efficiently across a diverse portfolio. Working within the Funding Operations team, you will coordinate funding processes, manage information and data, and contribute to improving systems and workflows.

This is an exciting time to join the organisation as we conclude our 2022–2027 strategy and begin shaping our next five-year plan, continuing our £150 million commitment to improving health in East London.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the administration and coordination of the full grant lifecycle, from application and peer review through to monitoring and closure
• Managing information relating to funding schemes, policies and application processes for internal and external stakeholders

About the Role

Our Day Care Centres – Great Croft (Kings Cross) and Henderson Court (Hampstead) – support older people with complex needs, including those living with dementia.

As a Day Care Officer you will:

• Support group activities such as arts, music, quizzes and gentle exercise

• Assist with personal care and mobility

• Support clients living with dementia using person-centred approaches

• Help with daily centre activities including serving meals and preparing activity spaces

We are seeking a skilled and confident leader to join our two supported living locations in Keynsham and Bath, supporting adults with learning disabilities to live their lives their way. Our services are CQC regulated and focused on person-centred approaches.

About the Role

As Supported Living Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring we continue our goal of making a difference every day. You will work closely with an Operations Manager, external practitioners, and the local authority to meet compliance requirements and deliver consistent, high-quality support.

You will be responsible for:

• Inspiring and leading your teams to deliver consistent, person-centred support and supporting staff to gain confidence in their roles.
• Ensuring robust support plans are in place and using a variety of communication aids to support adults who may not communicate using words.
• Supporting staff training and development by ensuring all staff are supported to complete and embed training effectively.
• Maintaining compliance by ensuring rotas are compliant, routines and structures are maintained to promote independence, and by managing compliance with CQC and other regulatory requirements.
• Working flexibly, including participation in the out-of-hours on-call rota, which may involve travelling to locations within your division.
