Role Summary
The main function of the Careers Coordinator (Work Experience) role is to develop, support and deliver Into Film’s Screen Careers Work Experience programmes. Screen Careers covers film, TV, animation, VFX and games. The postholder will work closely with the Careers Lead, Industry Partnerships Lead and other members of Into Film staff who conceive, create and deliver our Screen Careers Programme.
The Careers Coordinator will primarily manage work experience programmes across the four nations of the UK (outside of the ScreenWorks programme in Northern Ireland) but will also support the careers team with various other deliverables across the programme including but not limited to events with young people, development of resources and training for careers professionals, supporting development of ‘direct to young people’ content, and exhibiting at careers conferences UK-wide. About the role
The Events Coordinator sits within the Development team and reports into the Head of Philanthropy but works closely with senior leadership and colleagues across the organisation, notably, the Communications Team, the Creative Team, the Commercial Team and the Finance and Operations Teams as well as in-country teams.
This is a very hands-on role from the beginning. You will be leading all planning and execution for events, including fundraising events, exhibitions, though leadership, creative and commercial events, and community outreach events.
