Purpose of the job
The Education Programme at ELBA seeks to raise aspirations of young people, develop their business awareness, and support their employability competencies. Our work involves supporting secondary schools, colleges and universities, predominately through events bringing volunteers together from our corporate partners with local students to support the development of their employability skills and to raise aspirations. Working closely with ELBA’s corporate partners, the team engage students in various opportunities supporting Gatsby Benchmarks 5 & 6.
The role
This role will involve managing relationships with secondary schools, colleges, universities and ELBA corporate partner companies, providing vital support to coordinate and run events of varying scales throughout the academic year. This also includes supporting Mentoring Works, a programme that has been running since 1996 and connects Year 10 and Sixth Form/college students to volunteer business mentors working in the City and Canary Wharf. Taking the relationship lead for a number of our education institutions and corporate partners, the successful candidate will manage these relationships and ensure successful outcomes.
Job Description
Relationship Management
- Develop and manage strong relationships with education partners, this can include recruiting students for Mentoring Works and planning a calendar of events with Career Departments.
- Manage event requests from both education and corporate partners
- Run cross school projects throughout the year with multiple schools taking part
- Support the account management process of corporate partners by attending meetings with the wider account management team
- As a success indicator, consistently secure and maintain high satisfaction ratings from education and corporate partners, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders and volunteers.
Delivery
- Deliver projects and activities for educational institutions in line with the priorities and opportunities identified.
- Create and develop materials and resources, share best practice and design new programmes in line with changing priorities.
- Lead on development and delivery of group activities to support the Mentoring Works programme and feedback sessions with students
- Work proactively with CSR departments and other contacts within ELBA corporate partners to promote and enable delivery of projects/activities.
- Promote safety and wellbeing of students at all times and to follow ELBA’s safeguarding policies and have full regard of the policies of the schools and colleges engaged in ELBA programmes

Communication, reporting and evaluation
- All ELBA employees are required to use Salesforce as a record of activity. Training will be provided. Update Salesforce with all activity in line with agreed timescales, share updates with partners on activity.
- Support the Comms team as required
- Implement agreed evaluation and impact measurement tools for each project/activity
- Regularly write case studies, newsletter stories to showcase the impact of the education programme
- As a success indicator, produce comprehensive annual impact reports for partner schools, colleges, and universities, translating activity data into actionable insights that demonstrate programme value and success.
General
- Represent and act as an ELBA ambassador at meetings, social events and functions when required
- Attend ELBA team meetings, collaborate with other ELBA colleagues on projects where appropriate and contribute to the development of ELBA as an organisation

This is an exciting role, delivering a variety of events for different audiences, including our showcase event, The Big Bang Fair, which welcomes 20,000+ young people to the NEC, Birmingham, for three days of hands-on STEM inspiration. About the role
This role will lead the delivery and implementation of The Big Bang Fair (9-11 June 2026), Tomorrow’s Engineers Live (likely February 2027), Big Bang at Parliament (November 2026) and other EngineeringUK events as required. The Event Manager will ensure that we deliver against Key Performance Indicators or KPIs, engage with a diversity of schools or stakeholders and improve the impact of these events.
The role will report into the Associate Director of Engagement Projects and will work closely to support the delivery of the events portfolio, whilst also working alongside many other internal colleagues such as the Business and Industry, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), Careers, Communications and Evaluation teams. You will also work collaboratively with the wider engineering, education and STEM community as well as stakeholders funding our events and agencies supporting delivery.
You’ll plan, manage and implement the delivery of EngineeringUK events including establishing internal project teams and managing a schedule of project meetings, monitoring and reporting on progress, sourcing and liaising with venues to ensure a successful event. You will ensure that events have a smooth event booking/registration process and deliver events to time and on budget.
You’ll work with suppliers managing relationships and budgets and build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders. About the Team
Supporter Fundraising are a vital team within our fundraising department, who manage our involvement in all owned and third-party events, plan and deliver our virtual fundraising campaigns (such as Walk 5K April in 100 Miles in October) and steward and facilitate our community-led fundraising activity. About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and supporter-focused Events Officer to support delivery across all elements of our London Marathon fundraising activity for 2027. Working under the guidance of the London Marathon Event Manager, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional supporter experience, delivering high-quality events, coordinating logistics, and ensuring our charity maximises income, engagement and brand impact throughout the full marathon campaign,
What You’ll Do
- Assist the London Marathon Event Manager with the planning and delivery of all campaign events
- Liaise with runners, volunteers, suppliers, third-party event partners and internal colleagues as needed
- Support the Event Manager with post-event evaluation, data analysis, and recommendations for future years

Job summary
We are seeking a highly organised graduate to support the Brand Campaigns & Events Specialist. This role involves assisting with the development and implementation of content, supporting the setup, delivery, and evaluation of events, contributing to the creation of training and curriculum materials for online and print, and working with UK and international teams to contextualise and translate materials for diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Communication & Content Delivery
- Assist in the creation of event materials, including invitations, training guides, digital resources, workbooks, email campaigns, websites, scripts, animations, and related content.
- Support the development of visual and multimedia content for in-person and online delivery, ensuring materials are appropriate for the intended audience.
- Assist in repurposing content into multiple formats to support wider reach and usability.
