The Role:
The Head of Income Generation will lead the development and delivery of a sustainable, multi-year income strategy to support Aspens’ future growth and impact.
Working as part of the Inclusive Executive Leadership Team, you will provide strategic leadership across fundraising, partnerships, marketing and trading activity. You will strengthen existing income streams while identifying and developing new opportunities including major donors, trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, and social enterprise initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
You will:
- Develop and deliver a multi-year income generation strategy aligned with organisational goals
- Lead annual income planning, budgeting and performance reporting
- Grow income from trusts and foundations, securing significant multi-year funding
- Develop and implement a Major Gifts strategy, cultivating high-net-worth donors
- Establish and grow legacy and in-memoriam giving programmes
- Build and manage corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities

We are looking for a strategic and commercially minded leader with a strong track record in fundraising and income generation.
You will bring:
- Significant senior-level experience in income generation within the charity or social impact sector
- A proven track record securing major gifts, high-value partnerships and six-figure grants
- Strong strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting capability
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- The ability to translate impact and operational data into compelling funding narratives
- Experience using CRM systems and pipeline management to drive fundraising performance
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills, including at Executive or Board level

When young people in care turn 18, all the support they’ve relied on can fall away, literally overnight. Suddenly, they have to navigate adulthood on their own. This would be tough for any teenager, even if they could fall back on their family for help. So it’s not surprising that two out of three care-experienced young people feel unprepared to leave care. Too many still don’t get the support they need to make it safely past this cliff edge.
Care leavers aged 18-21 are nine times more likely to experience homelessness than their peers.
Settle exists to change this. We’re an award-winning charity, supporting care-experienced young people as they move into their first home, so they can confidently transition into independent living, avoid eviction and homelessness, and establish the foundations they need to thrive in adulthood. We are on a mission to end homelessness among care-experienced young people.
With our current Head of Fundraising leaving us to go travelling, we’re seeking someone new to help us achieve this ambition. You’ll have a lot to build on. Over the last three years, we’ve grown our income dramatically, and diversified our funder portfolio. We have strong relationships with our committed and supportive funders, underpinned by an organisation-wide commitment to fundraising.
This is a crucial role for Settle, and you’ll have the support you need to excel. In 2025, we grew our fundraising team from one (this post) to three. You’ll take on the leadership of an engaged and enthusiastic team, increasingly responsible for day-to-day management of trust and foundation fundraising. As well as inspiring the team to great things, you’ll have the opportunity to develop and deepen our relationships with philanthropists and high net worth individuals. Hours: The hours are full-time (35 hours per week) preferred, with attendance at funder events outside core hours as needed from time to time – part-time will be considered for the right candidate but we envisage at least 0.8FTE / 28 hours per week
Location: Hybrid working between our office in London Bridge and working from home – our standard expectation is at least 2 days a week of contact time (in the office, funder meetings or events). We have a monthly in person team meeting on a Wednesday, and hold our monthly SLT meetings in person on a Tuesday.

Job Description
- Administration & Systems Management
Managing supplies, equipment, and maintaining filing systems, records, and CRM database. Working closely with the UK Country Manager, the position will build on existing relationships with individuals who make significant personal donations, aiming to grow their contributions, as well as making approaches to new prospects, through compelling, donor-centred approaches and excellent stewardship.

Conditions and Benefits:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Donor Identification, solicitation and management
- Work with the UK Country Manager to grow the donor portfolio in the UK by identifying prospects, building relationships and secure gifts from high net-worth individuals and other philanthropic donors.
- Identify and deliver unique stewardship and cultivation opportunities for donors.
- Manage a portfolio of major donors through various personalised approaches, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, events and written and verbal communications.
- Ensure excellent and timely response to enquiries and stewardship and acknowledgement of gifts.
Events coordination
- Work with the UK Country Manager to help shape and deliver events and other engagement opportunities to generate income, cultivate and steward donors.
- Take responsibility for tailored and timely event follow-up to maximise relationships and using learnings and data from past events to develop donor engagement, referrals and gifts.
Research, communications and administration
- Research potential new donors and funding streams.
- Support the production of proposals, pitches, reports and general supporter communications.
- Use Salesforce to manage the accurate recording of interactions and progression related to all donor relationships
- Provide executive assistance to the UK Country Manager and senior stakeholders in relation to scheduling supporter meetings, drafting communications and provision of information to underpin successful supporter engagement.
- Maintain strong knowledge and understanding of HPF’s programmes.
- Carry out administrative activities and other duties, as required, to maximise fundraising.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Experience developing relationships with and securing funding from high-net-worth individuals and other philanthropic donors.
- Entrepreneurial approach to relationship management and creating new fundraising initiatives.
- Experience in coordination and delivery of bespoke, high-quality events for influential audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and a proactive networker, able to act as a spokesperson and ambassador for HPF.

Harris Hill is supporting a amazing health charity in their search for a Head of Philanthropy and Community Fundraising, starting ASAP until November.
This role will be plugging a gap in the team, so we are looking for an experienced candidate, who has managed major donor, Trust and Foundations, Community/ Events and Individual Giving. Introduction
The National House Project (NHP) supports Local Authorities to work with young people to give them the knowledge, skills and confidence to live connected and fulfilling lives. Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Director of Partnerships, this newly created role offers the chance to support the delivery of our new Fundraising and Partnership Strategy (2025–2029) by helping to grow our community of supporters, increase individual digital giving and deepen engagement with corporate partners. We also welcome your ideas and experience in developing how we might approach digital fundraising.
Working closely with the Director of Partnerships, this role will lead on community fundraising development and provide hands-on coordination of partnership activities, from employee volunteering and group sessions to corporate fundraising events and payroll giving. The aim of this work isn’t for Pembroke House to be commissioned by the state, but for us to support a flourishing community that traditional healthcare systems can respond and adapt to.
We’ve done a lot – from partnering with the South London and Maudsley NHS mental health trust on community-connections, to opening the Walworth Living Room with support from Impact on Urban Health, and resident-led research through our recent Social Model of Health work.
Today, the Walworth Living Room is home to a range of programmes that build community health through ranging from collaging, to fitness classes to shared meals. And it’s embedded in our wider-organising for a just neighbourhood – with a particular focus on food and housing.
We’re now looking for an inspiring individual to take this work to the next level, working with partners in and around Walworth to build and curate a programme that positions the Walworth Living Room as a pioneering centre for community-led health.

The Walworth Living Room (WLR) is a space where people can hang out, enjoy various activities, build relationships with each other, eat, learn, share and create. Located in the All Saints Hall building on Surrey Square, it is a place where people can work together to develop models of collective support and of collective control over community resources. Who we’re looking for:
You will be passionate about a vision of health that starts with community and addresses the systemic barriers to health.
You will be a natural organiser, with the ability to build wide-ranging relationships and alliances with community groups and organisations who are working on programmes that build community health. Ideally, you will already have relationships with these types of organisations in and around Walworth.
You will be a well-organised person who has experience with all stages of event and activity delivery, from planning, to logistics, to delivery, to evaluation and monitoring, and can ensure activities are delivered well from start to finish. You will have the ability to manage multiple streams of work simultaneously, keeping projects with different deadlines on track.
You will have experience working in low-income/working class communities and communities of colour. Purpose of This Role:
This is a strategic role, funded by the Sir Halley Stewart Trust, to shape future policy and practice in how faith communities support social prescribing for the benefit of local communities. This includes exploring the role of faith as a strategic partner in the government's neighbourhood health agenda. Building on the work of the current postholder, and previous work by NASP and organisations like Theos and the Good Faith Partnership, this role will take the lead at a national level by influencing, shaping and convening partners to unlock and unleash the significant resources of faith groups in contributing towards holistic healthcare delivered within the community.
The purpose of this role is to lead and co-ordinate NASP’s work on social prescribing with partners across the faith sector and enable a better understanding of how to work effectively with faith communities through social prescribing, and the role that faith and belief plays in supporting good health and wellbeing. The role will work to improve accessibility of community support through social prescribing by exploring the barriers and opportunities in faith communities and the health sector. Person Specification
- An active Christian, able to personally represent the values of Spear and Citizen Church, and a commitment to grow and learn spiritually and as a Christian leader.
- A confidence in group facilitation, and a desire to learn and understand coaching techniques.
- Passion for social justice and for working as part of the church to transform communities, especially supporting young people in employment or education.
- An ambitious and self-motivated individual with the ability to exercise initiative, prioritise workload and work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High emotional intelligence, and a sense of humour and fun!
Our working hours are 9:30am - 5:30pm, with occasional evening work for events such as our Spear Celebrations. We value a culture of excellence, authenticity, and fun.
We are an office-based organisation, working face-to-face with the trainees and value the collaboration and opportunities to work creatively and build community that this offers us.
