Community and Events Fundraising Officer
North London Hospice has been caring for local people since 1984, providing specialist palliative and end-of-life care to people with life-limiting illnesses across Barnet, Enfield and Haringey, and increasingly within Camden and Islington. Our services are completely free of charge however it now costs more than £16m a year to run our charity. We rely on the generosity of our community through donations and our shops to make up the shortfall in funding.
Role Purpose
Reporting to the Community and Events Manager, you will play a key role in growing income through community fundraising initiatives and delivering an exciting and expanding portfolio of events. This varied role combines creative promotion of fundraising opportunities, excellent supporter relationship management, and the planning and coordination of successful events. No two days will be the same, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
Community Fundraising and Events
· Support the Community and Events Manager to develop and deliver a portfolio of community fundraising activities and fundraising events.
· Provide guidance and support to individuals, groups and organisations fundraising for the Hospice, helping them maximise income and deliver successful activities.
· Coordinate event logistics, participant communications and administration to ensure a positive supporter experience.
· Maintain accurate records of fundraising activity, event participants and supporter engagement on Raiser's Edge.

Marketing and Promotion

The Head of Partnerships and Development will lead Multibank Scotland’s partnership and development activity.

Working arrangements
This is a fixed term contract until October 2027 covering a secondment.

We are delighted to share an exciting opportunity to join our Income Generation team in a newly created Senior Individual Giving and Legacy Fundraiser role.
About the Role:
As Senior Individual Giving & Legacy Fundraiser, you will play a key role within the Individual Giving & Legacy team, leading the delivery of high-impact fundraising campaigns that inspire long term and loyal support. You will be responsible for developing and implementing multi-channel fundraising activity, including appeals, regular giving, lottery and legacy campaigns, helping to secure sustainable income growth and engagement for Tŷ Hafan.
Working closely with colleagues across the charity, you will use insight, analysis and creativity to deliver excellent supporter experiences and maximise campaign performance. You'll also provide leadership to a small team, manage external suppliers and agencies, and help shape the future development of individual giving and legacy fundraising at Tŷ Hafan.
Tŷ Hafan operates a hybrid working model, and the post holder will be required to work on site a minimum of 2 days per week, with occasional evening and weekend work to support fundraising activities/events.
About you:
You are an experienced direct marketing, fundraising or supporter engagement professional with a strong track record of delivering successful campaigns that generate income and build lasting supporter relationships. You understand how to combine data, insight and creativity to develop compelling fundraising activity across a range of channels, and you are motivated by achieving meaningful results that make a difference.
You are a confident and proactive project manager who can balance multiple priorities, manage budgets and suppliers, and keep complex campaigns on track. You are experienced at analysing performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and using evidence to inform future decisions, communicating clearly and effectively with a wide range of audiences.
Ultimately, you are passionate about delivering outstanding supporter experiences that can help Tŷ Hafan provide vital care and support to children with life-shortening conditions and their families across Wales.

Hope is here. The Global Returns Project (GRP) is a UK charity unlocking new philanthropy to deliver urgent solutions for our planet.
We are a fast-moving nonprofit that makes donations to high-impact nature and climate charities simple – and we don’t take any fees. We’ve already mobilised over £3 million for top environmental solutions and are working to unlock at least £30 million annually by the end of the decade.
We are growing quickly: Last year's annual fundraising was nearly triple the previous year's.
The problem: Charities protecting our planet can turn the tide on climate change and nature loss. They have the skills, strategies and networks to deliver fast and global impact. But less than 2% of philanthropy goes to climate mitigation.

What we are looking for:
Job Title: Philanthropy Officer
We're looking for an organised, proactive Philanthropy Officer to support our work engaging high-net-worth individuals and the wealth advisers who refer them to our work, maintaining a strong pipeline of partners and donors.
You'll support prospecting and, where appropriate, outreach and relationship management across wealth adviser partnerships, helping to grow our referrals and giving channels. Alongside this, you'll help coordinate the logistics and admin behind our Planet Adviser Network, helping build and sustain the pool of wealth advisers collaborating with us.
On the HNW side, you'll support contact mapping across GRP's donors, contacts and Board to help identify high-net-worth individuals and families, and support relationship management with them when appropriate.
The ideal candidate will be excited to take on admin and logistics for major donor stewardship: including our Planet Leadership Circle, support of big and small HNW events, helping produce major donor impact materials (including reports), and other stewardship touches.
You’ll thrive in a small, fast-moving team – taking initiative, being collaborative, and contributing to shared goals. Crucially, you’ll care deeply about climate and nature.
Experience preferred:
Some professional experience in fundraising and HNW philanthropy (as a guide, likely 1-3 years).
