Headway UK– the brain injury association, supports thousands of people every year. Every 90 seconds, someone is admitted to a UK hospital with a brain injury. Brain injury can happen to anyone, of any age, at any time. The Fundraising Team raises critical funds and awareness so that everyone affected by brain injury has the support they need to live well.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Fundraising Coordinator plays a central support role across the Fundraising Team, providing high-quality income, operational and stewardship support, with specialist activities for corporate, community and events fundraising.

You will:

• Be the first point of contact between fundraisers and Headway UK, helping to build initial relationships.
• Ensure effective income management working closely with the Finance Team.
• Help deliver supporter stewardship, welcoming and thanking our community, challenge events and individual supporters.
• Support the Corporate Partnerships Manager, helping with our Corporate Membership and building our new business prospect pipeline.
• Attend key events, alongside the Events Team, including at the London Marathon, London Landmarks Half Marathon, Great North Run and our Annual Awards.  
• Represent Headway at community events, ensuring our supporters receive the best possible experience.

ABOUT YOU

Stephen’s Children UK is a Christian charity dedicated to providing financial support to the existing and well developed Stephen’s Children ministries in Egypt’s garbage slums outside of Cairo.

Role Overview:

As a Charity Fundraiser with Social Media and Digital Marketing experience, you will play a pivotal role in raising awareness and funds for our cause. You will leverage your expertise in fundraising, social media strategy, and digital marketing to develop and execute innovative campaigns that inspire individuals and organisations to engage and contribute. Key Responsibilities:

Although mostly working autonomously, you will be working with, and representing SCUK on the international Marketing and Communications Advisory Group to ensure a cohesive approach (the Communications and fund raising teams from the various Stephen’s Children entities in other nations): 

• Fundraising Strategy & Campaigns:
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies that align with the charity’s mission and goals.
  • Manage and grow fundraising campaigns across multiple platforms, including social media, email, and digital channels, as well as occasionally organising and attending fund raising events.
  • Identify and engage potential donors, sponsors, and corporate CSR partners to grow the charity’s financial support base.
  • Organize and manage online and occasional in person fundraising events, appeals, and virtual initiatives.
• Social Media & Digital Marketing:
  • Create and manage engaging content across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, etc.) to promote fundraising efforts, events, and the charity's mission.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, paid ads, and influencer collaborations.
  • Build a strong online community of supporters and engage with followers through comments, messages, and interactive posts.

• Donor Relationship Management:
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with current and prospective donors through regular communication, updates, and stewardship.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in fundraising, particularly within the charity sector or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and grow online communities and donor bases.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, with a focus on social media and online campaigns.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling content for different digital platforms.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively communicate when speaking in person to supporters and potential supporters, including Trust and Corporate grant applications.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box to drive engagement and fundraising results.
• Proficiency in social media management tools and digital advertising platforms.
• Familiarity with fundraising platforms (e.g., JustGiving, GoFundMe, Virgin Giving etc) and donor management tools (e.g. Raiser’s Edge etc.)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to track, measure, and report on campaign performance.

• Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once.

• Availability to visit the work in Cairo at least once per year (funded by the Charity).

The Chief Executive & Creative Director holds the most senior post at Dance City, unites the creative and strategic functions of the organisation, and is accountable to the board of trustees for the good management and impact of the charity. The Chief Executive & Creative Director leads and works collaboratively with the board, senior management team (SMT) and stakeholders and partners to ensure that Dance City creates opportunities for people to create, produce and experience dance at its very best. The Chief Executive & Creative Director drives the business, identifying commercial opportunities, securing financial resilience, and ensuring that Dance City’s programme is at the vanguard of sustainable dance development in the region. The Chief Executive & Creative Director is based in the northeast and plays an active role in the social life and cultural communities of the region.

• Lead on Dance City’s vision, values and organisational objectives and ensure the relevance and sustainability of its creative programme.

BGCI Vacancy Announcement

Position Summary

BGCI is seeking an experienced, committed and strategic Director of Conservation to provide leadership across the organisation’s policy, conservation prioritisation and conservation action portfolio. The postholder will translate BGCI’s 2026–2030 Strategic Framework into coherent programmes, partnerships, monitoring systems and resource mobilisation, ensuring that BGCI’s work delivers measurable outcomes for plant conservation, ecological restoration and community resilience.

The Director will help position BGCI as the most effective and renowned plant conservation network in the world, working across an expanded global network of botanic gardens and other conservation organisations to bring more plant species under conservation action. The role requires a strong combination of conservation leadership, programme oversight, partnership development, fundraising and people management.

Title of post: Director of Conservation

Job Purpose: To provide strategic direction to the organisation’s plant conservation activities worldwide.

  As our NCD Alliance Scotland Lead, you’ll support all joint activity for the alliance, working with the chair, advisory board and members, building consensus within the alliance.   About you
  
  With a deep understanding of the policy-making and the political process in Scotland, ideally with some knowledge of health policy and public health policy, you’ll have an extensive understanding of parliamentary procedure and government in Scotland, as well as an understanding of public policy and how it’s developed.
  
  You’ll have a proven track record of building and nurturing excellent relationships and exerting influence over external stakeholder’s agendas. You’ll also have previous 
  experience of having run or managed successful policy and/or public affairs work at a senior level, ensuring expectations, responsibilities and the purpose and vision for the team are clear and delivered.
  
  With experience of leading stakeholder relations in a high profile and/or complex organisation. You’ll also have the following skills and experience:

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, able to present with credibility and gravitas to external audiences.
  • Excellent writing skills, able to provide concise written and oral briefings on complex issues, often at short notice.
  • Ability to work calmly, quickly and accurately under pressure of tight deadlines. 
  • Proven leadership skills whilst being a team player.

  Working arrangements
  
  Please note this is a fixed term contract for 18 months.
  
  This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our Edinburgh Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
  
  The work will require some evening and weekend work as well as travel that may require overnight stays. There will also be an opportunity to visit BHF offices in Belfast, Cardiff and London.

Job Description  

Purpose of This Role: 

This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new three-year programme focused on strengthening the financial wellbeing of people living with multiple long-term conditions. Enabled by recently announced funding from The Aviva Foundation, the role will lead the design and development of an initiative that equips link workers with the skills, confidence, and resources to address financial hardship as an integral part of their practice. The post will play a crucial role in advancing NASP’s strategic ambition to influence and embed social prescribing across local, national, and international contexts  

This new role will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of the three-year national programme, reporting to our Strategic Lead for Healthcare Integration & Neighbourhood Health to meet the programme priorities.  

The postholder will work in close partnership with key stakeholders to co-produce and lead the programme’s learning content, oversee the national training rollout, and support pilot delivery in two Primary Care Network (PCN) sites. The role will be central to capturing, synthesising, and embedding learning through peer-learning networks, wider evaluation partnerships, and ongoing engagement with our funder. This will support continuous improvement, evidence-based practice, and the successful scaling of the programme -contributing to a more integrated approach to financial wellbeing through social prescribing services.  

This role will sit within the Healthcare Integration Team and will work closely with colleagues across Evidence & Insights, International Social Prescribing, workforce developments and activity provider engagement.    

This role requires strategic insight, programme delivery expertise, stakeholder management capabilities and an understanding of the role of social prescribing in tackling financial hardship.   

Person Specification: 

Essential   

• Strong programme and project management skills including the coordination of multiple workstreams   

• Experience in either designing, developing and/or delivering training or learning programmes, ideally for social prescribing or health audiences  

• Strong understanding of financial hardship and financial inclusion, including welfare benefits, advice models and their relationships to health inequalities   

• Experience working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including people with lived experience.   

• Excellent communication, facilitation and relationships building skills   

Desirable   

• Experience delivering national programmes end-to-end, including programme design, delivery, scaling and evaluation, with accountability for milestone, outcomes and KPIs  

• Experience of working in the financial advice sector, for example for organisations like Citizens Advice    

• Experience in writing funding applications and developing new donor relationships to secure new funds would be an advantage. Willingness to do so will be essential.

We are seeking someone who can bring together clear strategic thinking and hands-on-leadership to inspire our staff team and represent the charity externally across key sectors and partnerships. This is an opportunity to lead a unique and vital organisation supporting male, trans and non-binary people who sex work.

The CEO acts as the primary external ambassador for the organisation, maintaining partnerships across housing and homelessness, sex work and VCSE sectors. The role is responsible for establishing our inclusive, values-led culture and is accountable for ensuring the charity delivers impact for male, trans and non-binary people who sex work. 

As Grants and Outreach Officer, you will play a key role in driving Electrical Safety First’s mission to reduce deaths, injuries, and accidents caused by electricity, particularly for the most vulnerable in society.

You will help manage the Charity’s grant scheme programme, which distributes £1,000,000 annually to fund community-based initiatives that raise awareness of electrical safety and reduce risks for those who face the most danger. Through this, you will help empower local organisations to create tangible change in their communities.

In addition to helping administer the grant scheme, you’ll support the Charity’s outreach initiatives, working closely with the Senior Grants and Outreach Officer to identify opportunities to expand the charity’s reach and partnerships.
