CMS is a dynamic Christian mission with a three-year plan to significantly increase income to fund contextual mission programmes worldwide. We are seeking a Church Engagement Manager who is passionate about Jesus and who can seize the funding opportunity that will enable CMS to grow.
Ø Permanent, full time: 35 hours per week.
Ø Hybrid working: two days a week at CMS House, Oxford.

Your role
Your primary responsibilities include executing a data-driven engagement strategy to expand income from church giving, individual supporters and legacies, as well as leading the landmark Global Edge Church initiative. You will personally manage high-value church giving portfolios with senior leaders, oversee national event presences and line-manage direct reports across church fundraising, individual giving, editorial content and supporter care. Additionally, you will coordinate cross-functional marketing campaigns and ensure robust CRM data management and regulatory compliance.
To succeed, you must be a committed and practising Christian with proven experience in fundraising or marketing within a Christian context. You need strong relational, negotiation and public speaking abilities, experience managing CRM systems and teams, and a full UK driver’s licence with willingness to travel.

Beder is looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial and hands-on Head of Fundraising & Partnerships to lead the next stage of our growth.
Beder was established in memory of Beder Mirjan, who sadly took his own life in 2017 at the age of 18. Since then, we have spent the past eight years working to raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention, challenge stigma and, increasingly, provide tangible support to people who need it.
The focus of our work is the Beder Therapy Voucher programme, through which we fund free therapy for people (18+) across the UK as we all need someone to talk to with demand for that support growing significantly.
Until now, much of Beder's fundraising has been founder-led, supported by an incredible network of ambassadors, partners, businesses and individuals. We have built exciting partnerships across sport, business, entertainment and hospitality whilst creating a charity with an engaged community and an ambitious vision for the future.
We are now ready to build a dedicated and sustainable fundraising function so we are looking for someone who can take ownership of that journey.
This isn't a role for someone who simply wants to manage an existing fundraising programme as we are looking for someone who enjoys building one. The Development Team secures vital funding to support core programming and public engagement, exhibitions, collections care and major capital projects at Royal Museums Greenwich. We work with philanthropists, companies and trusts & foundations, building a community of generous and loyal supporters from our Patrons Circle and legacies to major grants and corporate partners. Our current focus is to secure a team target of £2M revenue income in this financial year, and deliver the funding needed to deliver First Light, a landmark capital transformation of the Royal Observatory Greenwich.
First Light is an £85M project to deliver an ambitious schedule of much needed repair to the unique built heritage, vital capital improvements to the site plus an embedded programme of activities to build the nation’s science capital. A focus on physical, cultural, intellectual and financial access will ensure that everyone can enjoy, and benefit from, all the Observatory has to offer.
Aiming to break ground winter 2025 and reopen in spring 2028, First Light will affirm the Royal Observatory as THE centre for the public understanding and enjoyment of astronomy - a place of awe and wonder.
This is an exciting time to join the Development Team as we begin to plan a high-profile public campaign, seek to secure a principal gift to close the campaign and liaise with our ambassadors to build our reach and reputation.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager: Development Business Operations, the Campaign Manager, First Light will deliver vital fundraising activity in support of this capital campaign - working with colleagues to maximise fundraising opportunities, engage supporters and ensure the successful delivery of campaign events, communications and donor engagement activity.
Key responsibilities include to lead delivery of the First Light fundraising campaign to agreed objectives and timescales through the creation of fundraising materials and webpages and the delivery of a successful public fundraising campaign. The role will manage regular campaign communications for all stakeholders, co-lead on the organisation and delivery of a gala fundraising dinner in 2027 and coordinate major donor meetings and events for the campaign. There is also the opportunity to travel through the management of a fundraising visit to the USA in 2027.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of planning and delivering events. They will have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks. They will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong teamworking skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships.
This is a full-time, fixed term role until 30 June 2028 in Band 5 - Management and Proficient Specialists. Core hours of work will be 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 9am - 5pm, with an additional hour to be agreed upon with management. Occasional evening and weekend working will be required to ensure the successful delivery of First Light campaign events.
Salary: £38,568 per annum.

You will help to shape the ambitious future for fundraising at East Anglian Air Ambulance, delivering the Future Proofed Giving strategy, growing income, and developing a brilliant team of fundraisers, stewardship specialists and engagement experts.
Key responsibilities include:
Building a brand-new engagement, stewardship, retention and development function for the fundraising directorate including; building the team, embedding the function across the fundraising and wider teams; This function will be the beating heart of the fundraising team and ensure we can deliver our ambitious strategy.
You will specifically lead on the strategic direction of key income streams including; community fundraising, events, individual giving, prize led fundraising (lottery), in memory fundraising, gift aid and gifts in wills.
You will lead and develop, a great team who are delivering exceptional stewardship activity to retain supporters for longer and targeted marketing activity, uplift and conversion campaigns and giving the supporter a great experience.
You and the team will be planning and implementing new product, activity, events testing – from development through to implementation. Stewardship journey mapping, development, implementation and monitoring for all income streams in your remit and providing stewardship support to other fundraising functions.
You’ll bring:
Significant experience of developing successful fundraising strategies and leading and developing fundraising departments, and teams.
You will have an excellent understanding of the different fundraising disciplines you will be responsible for and one or two you might even be an expert in.
You will have been using data and insights to inform plans and activity and recent experience of using marketing techniques and channels, ideally in a fundraising setting, to engage with specific audiences.
Giving supporters a great experience will drive you and being a fan of yellow and helicopters will probably be essential.

The Literacy Pirates is an educational charity working across the UK to develop the literacy, confidence and perseverance of children who are falling behind in school and have fewer opportunities in their personal lives. We offer in-person and online literacy programmes that support children to meet age-related expectations in reading and writing, succeed in school, and thrive beyond the classroom.

About the Fundraising & Communications Department
The Corporate Partnerships Manager reports to the Head of Development and is part of the broader fundraising and communications team along with the Trusts & Foundation Manager and Communications Manager.
Corporate partnerships revenue accounts for 40% of our fundraised income and is a key strategic target for growth. The Corporate Partnerships Manager role is therefore critical to achieving our national expansion ambitions.
This role is office-based in London, with the option to work from remotely two days a week.
Key Purpose
To manage, renew and deepen existing corporate partnerships.
To generate additional revenue through identifying new business and income growth opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
To manage a portfolio of existing corporate partnerships, building excellent relationships with all levels of stakeholders in order to renew and grow partnerships.
Secure new fundraising income through developing and managing a portfolio of prospects; and by demonstrating effective networking and relationship development approaches.
To manage and deliver standalone corporate volunteering days, projects and event; building strong relationships with clients and participants in order to develop deeper partnerships.
Design and develop new corporate volunteering events and manage special annual events, such as the Hackney Half Marathon fundraiser
Oversea the individual giving tracking and donor engagement process, supervising and providing guidance on process improvements.
Research and identify corporate foundations to apply to, writing and submitting compelling proposals.
Draft and submit engaging written progress reports to corporate partners and foundations.
Be a strong advocate for team and department objectives, looking for new fundraising opportunities and working effectively with colleagues outside of the fundraising team.
Manage and monitor agreed partnership income and associated expenditure to ensure ROI and cost effectiveness across all relationships.
General

Person Specification
Minimum 3 years-experience of managing and developing corporate partnership relationships in a charity fundraising department
Ability to effectively manage external partner meetings, taking a confident and proactive approach, being responsive and accountable and looking for opportunities to deepen relationships
A confident and enthusiastic networker, always looking to develop new relationships, with an enterprising approach to corporate fundraising
Interest in, and enthusiasm to, identify and develop new corporate fundraising strategies and initiatives.
Proven track record of securing income and managing partnerships and sponsorships within a target driven environment
Experience of delivering events, both standalone and as a part of a wider partnership.
Knowledge of effective individual giving processes and donor engagement approaches.
Good organisational skills, excellent task management and follow up, and demonstrating the ability to set and manage conflicting priorities
Excellent writing skills and experience of developing written funding proposals.
Commercial awareness with knowledge of a range of commercial and business sectors
Proficiency in the use of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Knowledge of fundraising database e.g. Salesforce or similar
An interest in children's literacy and passionate about addressing poverty and inequality
Self-starter, able to work proactively and intuitively
