This role will lead CAFOD’s policy and advocacy work aimed at tackling the global climate crisis. The post holder will have a solid understanding of debates around climate change, in particular how it impacts climate-vulnerable countries in the Global South. As Deputy Outreach Manager, you will help lead services supporting young people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or experiencing other complex challenges. We give information and advice, organise respite, offer complementary therapies, deliver training, provide peer support, arrange fun events and much more. In short, we are the Carer's friend and advocate,often helping Carers through difficulttimes.
Dementia Carers Support and Development Coordinator
Salary: £33,803.52. per annum (inc. Inner London Weighting)
Full time (35 hours per week)
The role:
This role involves one to one support for unpaid Carers of people with dementia, providing information, guidance, and advocacy, developing, and delivering dementia training for Carers and facilitating peer support groups. This role also includes coordinating and delivering a monthly Dementia Cafe for people with dementia and their Carers, including supervision of the Cafe volunteers and sessional workers, as well as supervising a Carers Support and Development Worker.
Skills and experience:
The successful applicant will have outstanding organisational and communication skills, be confident delivering training and outreach. They will be able to manage conflicting demands with tight deadlines, be a key team player and committed to working with Carers and volunteers.
They will have excellent IT skills and be able to adapt to providing services both face to face and via virtual platforms, whilst maintaining a consistent service for Carers.

Database and Research Lead – Development
Hours: Full-Time, 36.25 per week (0.8 FTE may be considered)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience, with the possibility of further flexibility for an exceptional candidate (pro rata for a 0.8 FTE position).
Location: Trinity Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1TL
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most successful college development programmes. Clare College is celebrating its 700th anniversary this year. Accompanied by a new strategic vision for the College’s eighth century, the anniversary provides an opportunity to launch Clare’s next fundraising campaign.
The Database and Research Lead will play a key role in the overall success of the Development Office and the new campaign. The successful applicant will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and effective use of the College’s Development database and will provide comprehensive gift administration and data services. Responsibilities include the overseeing of constituent data with other College and University systems, providing general administrative support for the office and preparing briefings for the Master, other senior College Officers and fundraisers for use on visits and at events.
The hours of work will be 36.25 per week with the specific hours to be agreed with the successful candidate. The success of the Development Office depends on the flexibility and ethos of its staff. The role holder will be required to participate in activities outside the core job description that are important to the overall development programme and the College.

Salary and Benefits
The salary will be between £35,000 and £40,000 with the possibility of some additional flexibility for an exceptional candidate. There will be a four-month probationary period. Confirmation in role will be subject to satisfactory completion of the probationary period. The role-holder is entitled to 26 days’ holiday per year, plus public holidays. Other benefits include eligibility for a free parking space in College, and a free lunch in College on working days. We also offer membership of a defined pension contribution scheme.
