This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled writer and communicator to tell the stories of SAT-7 and the people of the MENA in fresh and powerful ways. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, creative environment as part of the Communications & Marketing Team, delivering high quality content across a range of platforms. You’d be writing engaging podcast and video scripts, powerful viewer testimonies, inspiring articles for our website or print magazine and attention-grabbing email copy. We have an exciting opportunity for a Research and Production Officer to join our team based in Central London. After several years of research and development, we launched Testimony 360 in June 2024, a digital programme for UK secondary schools that uses interactive survivor testimony and virtual reality to innovatively teach about the Holocaust. Through the programme, students can interact with a recorded testimony of a Holocaust survivor, before seeing some of the sites they experienced using virtual reality headsets, all without leaving their classroom.
The successful candidate will serve as a member of the Trust’s Programmes Team, responsible for the research, post-production, testing and maintenance of interactive recorded testimony to ensure fluency and usability in the classroom. They will also be responsible for the ethical representation and engagement with the testimonies. We are looking for an individual with experience in research, with an understanding of the sensitive use of testimony, as well as experience of data management systems and platforms used for interactive testimony. They will have the ability to quickly learn how to use new technologies and programmes. As an expert in Holocaust education, you will also contribute to the successful delivery of our Testimony 360 programme through research and development of new content or digital resources.

Would you like to make a positive difference to the lives of survivors of torture? Do you have experience of coordinating clinical services delivery to marginalised groups in a community setting?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to work with an innovative and friendly multidisciplinary team at our London Centre, which is a purpose-built centre specifically designed for the treatment of torture survivors, with extensive indoor space and gardens.
About the Role
Our team of experienced clinicians offer a range of specialist therapy interventions, to survivors of torture and organised violence, on an individual and group therapy basis. The interventions equip survivors with the resolve to deal with the physical and psychological impacts of their experiences. Throughout the rehabilitative journey, we closely monitor the impact of the interventions as it relates to each survivor using specifically designed Outcome Tools, which in turn assist in ensuring that the survivors receive the best treatment possible.
About You
To be successful in this role you must be qualified in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, (you will be trained to doctorate level or an equivalent vocational level 7). If you are nearing the completion of your training in either discipline, we would still love to hear from you. You must have knowledge of at least one evidence-based approach to trauma therapy including trauma focused CBT, NET and EMDR, sufficient to be able to deploy this model clinically and determine appropriate intervention pathways. It is also essential that you are registered to practice as a psychologist with HCPC. Due to the psychological trauma experienced by our clients you must have up to date knowledge of relevant mental health and safeguarding legislation. Your role will include offering supervision to trainees.

Purpose of Role
The Outreach LGBTQ+ Youth Worker will extend access for LGBTQ+ youth provision into rural and underserved areas within North Wales. This role focuses on reaching LGBTQ+ young people in areas where services are limited, providing both group-based and one-to-one support, and ensuring bilingual Welsh/English provision. The post-holder will work collaboratively with the wider Viva LGBTQ+ team while having particular responsibility for outreach and Welsh language delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Rural Outreach and Development:
● Develop and extend LGBTQ+ youth provision in rural and underserved areas across 4 counties, in areas agreed with the Viva LGBTQ+ Team Lead
● Identify and engage with LGBTQ+ young people in underserved and rural communities
● Co-produce and deliver LGBTQ+ youth groups
● Build relationships with rural schools, community organisations, and partners to facilitate access to the youth work support and activities
Direct Youth Work Delivery:
● Deliver programmes and activities at multiple sites
● Provide one-to-one support and key-working for LGBTQ+ young people
● Support advocacy for LGBTQ+ young people
● Facilitate participation and co-production with young people

We have an exciting opportunity to become a member of our farm leadership team as a Skills and Wellbeing Lead. You will lead the Skills and Wellbeing Programme at Oasis City Farm – Southampton, delivering high-quality sessions, therapeutic activities and workshops for adults and young people. With the aim of building knowledge, practical skills, confidence and wellbeing through animal care, gardening and nature-based learning. This will include leading our Adult day service; developing opportunities for farm users to gain qualifications; facilitating wellbeing workshops and provision that build mental health wellbeing; working with the community lead to develop our volunteer and work placement programme; work alongside our garden assistant to lead on our garden project development, ensuring it is sustainable. This role includes line managing a team to enable the above strands of work to be sustainable and impactful for the wider community.
The role will contribute to the day-to-day operation of the farm, supporting animal care and site maintenance through these programmes and community activities in line with the Oasis ethos.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:
· Relevant qualifications or experience in animal management or outdoor learning.
