Responsibilities and Person Specification:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery and ongoing evolution of our ambitious Trusts and Foundations fundraising strategy, securing transformational five- and six-figure grants that will drive our long-term impact and growth.
We're looking for an exceptional relationship-builder and communicator with a proven track record of securing five- and six-figure grants from Trusts and Foundations. You'll be confident translating complex data into compelling funding propositions and using your outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills to inspire support for our mission.

This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, which you can choose to work over five days or a 9-day fortnight. We also are open to this role being worked on a part-time basis on a minimum of 28 hours per week.

Purpose of Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Trust and Foundations Fundraising Officer to help secure the funding needed to sustain and develop our vital work. Main Duties & Responsibilities
Work with operational teams to develop funding applications to meet agreed income targets to help fund core activities and priority projects.

Regular review of income pledges and received, and the funding pipeline, reporting progress and risks to manager.

To ensure that all relevant administration is recorded accurately on the fundraising CRM and shared team databases.
To monitor payment dates and ensure payments are received when expected.
Build and maintain relationships with funders, helping them to understand the impact of their support.
Support the Contracts and Planning Team with other duties as required, contributing flexibly to wider team priorities and organisational needs

Philanthropic Partnerships Lead – Trusts and Foundations (parental leave cover)

The Role
The Philanthropic Partnerships Lead – Trusts & Foundations will contribute to Global Greengrants Fund UK’s fundraising and partnership objectives by stewarding a portfolio of existing and new Trust & Foundation supporters to secure significant restricted and unrestricted grants and donations for the organisation. Working as part of the Philanthropic Partnerships team and reporting to the Director of Philanthropic Partnerships, the postholder will also collaborate closely with colleagues across the global organisation Global Greengrants Fund, particularly within the Programmes, External Relations and Finance functions.
The Candidate Profile
The post holder will be an experienced, senior-level fundraising leader with a track record of securing and developing successful collaborations with trusts, foundations and partner organisations to achieve ambitious income goals; extensive experience in developing pitches, proposals, and fundraising products; and a strong interest in environmental justice, international development or human rights issues. They will have an extensive knowledge of the funding and philanthropy sectors in the UK and Europe; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and be confident in engaging a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including at senior levels.
The candidate will excel in relationship building and interpersonal skills, capable of managing complex relationships and politics. With excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, they will be adept at developing compelling proposals, presentations, reports, and other fundraising materials. Additionally, they will demonstrate strategic, innovative, and analytical thinking, with a strong capacity for complex problem-solving and decision-making.
The right candidate will understand Global Greengrants Fund’s core values and be committed to the guiding principles and mission of Global Greengrants Fund and ensure they uphold them in the way they take up the responsibilities of the role. About the role
The Business Development and Fundraising Manager will play a crucial role in delivering a key pillar of our strategy: to build Claremont’s financial strength and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development, Marketing and Promotion
Develop and implement marketing initiatives to increase bookings for Claremont's halls and meeting rooms.
Promote our hire spaces across online platforms (such as TagVenue and Sharesy), build new partnerships, and grow bookings through local networking and word-of-mouth.
Improve our online presence and promotional materials by creating engaging content, including photography, video tours, signage and marketing literature.
Support the marketing and promotion of office space rentals, responding to prospective tenant enquiries and assisting with the lettings process.
Monitor booking trends and recommend new opportunities to maximise bookings and income.
2. Customer Engagement and Venue Hire
Work closely with the Facilities Manager to respond promptly and professionally to enquiries about hall and room hire.
Welcome new hirers, deliver customer inductions and support them throughout the booking process.
Build strong relationships with regular customers, identifying opportunities to improve their experience and encourage repeat bookings.
Help coordinate office space lettings and provide an excellent experience for prospective and existing tenants.
Continuously review and improve the customer journey, using feedback to enhance Claremont's venue hire and lettings offer.
3. Fundraising and Individual Giving
Work with the Head of Operations to plan and deliver fundraising events, including the Claremont Exhibits Private View, Craft Fairs and new legacy programme activities.
Develop and administer processes for Gift Aid and individual donations, ensuring records are accurate and compliant.
Explore innovative ways to increase individual giving, improve donor engagement and reduce barriers to giving using digital tools.
Support the development of Claremont's legacy giving programme and wider fundraising initiatives.
4. Operational Support
Be an active member of Claremont's small team, contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the centre.
Provide occasional front desk cover during staff absences, welcoming visitors and responding to enquiries.
Assist with setting up and packing away rooms and equipment for activities and events when required.
Support the successful delivery of centre events and activities, working flexibly to meet operational needs.
Undertake other duties appropriate to the role that contribute to Claremont's mission and objectives.

Essential Criteria
Experience
Experience of business development, marketing, sales, fundraising or customer engagement in the charity, public or commercial sector.
Experience of promoting services or venues and achieving measurable improvements in customer engagement and income.
Experience of providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Experience of organising projects from planning through to delivery.
Experience of using digital tools and technology to promote services or support customers.
Knowledge
Understanding of marketing and business development principles.
Understanding of the importance of excellent customer experience and relationship management.
Knowledge of fundraising methods, individual giving or donor stewardship, or a willingness to develop expertise in these areas.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
This exciting role will support on the delivery of income from a range of high-value donors within our philanthropy and corporate income streams. This position is key for both Helen Bamber Foundation and Asylum Aid and the postholder will work closely with the fundraising team, enabling the Senior Corporate and Philanthropy Executive and the Group Director of Fundraising to build successful funding partnerships.

About the role
Working closely with the Fundraising Compliance Lead, you’ll ensure that Parkinson's UK’s Fundraising and marketing meet required industry standards, rules and regulations that are relevant to specific activities and business practices.
Using your expertise, you will work closely with income generating and supporter experience teams to ensure action is taken to optimise and maximise existing opportunities and to capitalise as regulations and technology develop. You will work alongside governance and operations colleagues to empower teams through monitoring, reporting, improving business processes and managing risk.
What you'll do
Be a first point of contact for colleagues requiring support triaging and answering day-to-day compliance queries; supporting the Fundraising Compliance Lead and Gift Aid Manager as required to deliver BAU and key projects.
As a subject matter expert you will work with stakeholders to review fundraising activity, direct marketing materials and supporter journeys to ensure they meet internal policies, legal bases and the relevant rules and standards for communications.
Liaise with and maintain relationships with regulatory and industry bodies to seek advice and resolve any matters arising alongside the Compliance Lead.
Assist colleagues in the prevention of and in reporting breaches or incidents in line with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
Identify and support opportunities to improve, optimise and maximise ways of working, business processes and monitoring to increase both compliance assurance and income generation.
What you'll bring
Demonstrable knowledge of fundraising and marketing regulations, processes and requirements, including but not limited to: UK GDPR, ICO Direct Marketing guidance, Code of Fundraising Practice, CAP & BCAP advertising codes, LCCP gambling regulations.
Expertise and knowledge of Fundraising and Marketing activities with motivation to support the Fundraising and Experience Directorate in achieving their experience goals and income targets.
Experience of data quality assurance, compliance monitoring and risk management.
Experience of utilising CRM systems, preferably Raiser’s Edge and/or Salesforce NPC to check data flows, consent tracking or opt-out markers.
