Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW) is Wales’ leading charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers. Founded in 1993, we have spent more than three decades championing the welfare of sighthounds and working towards our vision: a Wales without greyhound racing, where every greyhound and lurcher has a home and receives the best possible care.
In April 2026, after 25 years of determined campaigning to improve welfare and regulation within the racing industry, legislation to ban greyhound racing in Wales was finally passed. This landmark achievement marks the beginning of a new chapter for GRW as we expand our reach and capacity across the UK to ensure every greyhound leaving the racing industry has a rescue space, medical support and rehabilitation on the journey towards their forever home.
To help us grow sustainably and strengthen our long‑term impact, we are now seeking to develop our fundraising team with the creation of a Trusts and Foundations Officer. This role will play a key part in increasing and diversifying our income, enabling us to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome even more dogs during this pivotal moment in our charity’s history.
Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Community and Events Fundraiser to develop their experience, to work within the community to increase and diversify our income stream and strengthen our charity’s profile.
The Community and Events Fundraiser is responsible for planning and delivering a varied range and scale of fundraising and events in the community.
You will proactively manage projects and build strong relationships with individuals, businesses and community groups, while also supporting and developing volunteers and their involvement.
As part of our Income Generation Team, you will work closely with the Head of Fundraising, Sponsorship & Legacies Officer and Trusts and Foundations Officer to help deliver an annual income target of £400k+.
Alongside maximising opportunities with our existing supporters, you will play a key role in developing and nurturing new ideas, partnerships and activities. Your work will help to grow this vital income stream and ensure we continue to engage with the communities and organisations that champion Greyhound Rescue Wales.

Refugee Action Kingston (RAK) is seeking a dedicated and highly organised Youth Activities and Enrichment Coordinator to join our award-winning Bright Futures Children and Young People's Programme.
In this rewarding role, you will plan and coordinate engaging and inclusive educational, recreational and enrichment activities that help refugee and asylum-seeking children and young people build confidence, develop skills, improve wellbeing and feel connected to their local community.
Location: We have offices in Kingston Upon Thames, greater London.
Hours: 14 hours per week – 2 days a week* (including paid half-hour lunch break).
Salary: £12,740 (FTE £31,850) for 2 years.

Purpose of the Role
The Youth Activities and Enrichment Coordinator will play a key role in planning, coordinating, delivering and monitoring educational, recreational and enrichment activities as part of our award-winning Bright Futures Children’s and Young People’s Programme. Working closely with the Head of Services/Family Support and Supplementary School Manager, Primary Teacher, external partners and volunteers, the post holder will ensure the provision of engaging, inclusive and memorable opportunities. In addition, they will support the delivery of RAK Bright Futures After School Club and Supplementary School and contribute to education-related casework for children and young people and monitoring and evaluation of all above activity.

Key Responsibilities
- Research, plan and coordinate holiday activities, trips and workshops that promote learning, wellbeing, community engagement and social inclusion.
- Develop and maintain relationships with activity providers, venues, schools, community organisations, cultural institutions and other partners to secure and coordinate activities, trips and enrichment opportunities.

About the Role
We’re looking to recruit a Research Manager to support the delivery of our strategic research portfolio. This role will involve managing and delivering research design, data collection, analysis and reporting, while working collaboratively with colleagues across Homeless Link, member organisations, academics, government officials, partners and people with lived experience.
The successful candidate will be an excellent project manager with strong quantitative research skills. They will have communication and relationship building skills, understanding of interpreting research findings in wider policy contexts, and of making strategic recommendations for national and local policy and decision makers. About us
The Ben Kinsella Trust is one of the UK’s leading anti-knife crime charities. We were set up following the tragic murder of 16-year-old Ben Kinsella in 2008, and everything we do is guided by his legacy. Our mission is to prevent knife crime through education and campaigning.
Ben was a kind, creative young person who loved art, music, Arsenal FC, and making people laugh. He had big dreams of becoming a graphic designer. His death was a senseless act of violence, and the outpouring of grief and public support that followed marked the start of a movement. Ben’s own words, written shortly before his death, called for change, and his voice continues to inspire our work.
Through immersive workshops in our Choices and Consequences Exhibitions and free online resources, we have reached over 50,000 young people so far. Our work challenges myths about knife crime, strengthens peer influence, and sparks meaningful conversations. As we grow, we remain committed to honouring Ben’s life by making a real, lasting difference to young people across the UK.
We’re a small but growing team of 11 (rising to 14), working across Programmes, Fundraising, Communications, Finance and Operations, and Leadership. About the Role
We are looking for an education or youth work professional who can deliver our programmes to a very high standard. You will be a skilled facilitator and communicator who can engage with young people from a diverse range of backgrounds. Additionally, we are seeking someone who shares our values and is passionate about using education as a tool to support and empower young people and to stop knife crime.
As Youth Programmes Officer you will be responsible for the delivery and coordination of our flagship knife crime prevention workshops to young people, to a high standard. You will work alongside the Programmes team to ensure workshops at our London exhibitions (currently Islington and Barking & Dagenham) operate smoothly and consistently to serve young people through the achievement of quality outcomes and maximised engagement. We're looking for a People & Wellbeing Executive to be responsible for delivering efficient administrative support and knowledge that facilitates the smooth running of the People department for all other team members. About the role
The Transforming Peace & Security Campaigner will lead Medact’s campaigning for healthcare spaces which truly centre health and health justice, not surveillance, profiling and policing, in addition to providing ongoing strategic support to members organising against war and nuclear threat.
This role will lead on our strategic priority area of Ending State Violence. The campaigner will implement campaign strategy focused on targeted organising to build coalitions and solidarity with marginalised communities, continuing our campaign against the Prevent duty in health, and supporting our Medact Abolitionist Approaches to Health Group. They’ll also work with our established Nuclear Weapons group to promote disarmament and encourage investment in nonviolent responses to conflict. - Identifies opportunities to increase sales (bookings for training/ events), growing reach and engagement.
- Support the development and implementation of a content strategy.
Website
- Support the Head of Marketing and Communications with the relaunch of a new website in 2026/2027.
- Lead on how AI is affecting search (SEO/GEO) and what SMK’s website needs.
- Monitor and translate website performance using analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
- Implement and manage on-page SEO/ GEO best practices (keywords, metadata, content optimisation).
- Identify opportunities to improve search visibility and organic traffic.
Data, Insight & Reporting
- Monitor, analyse, and report on digital marketing performance.
- Use data to continuously optimise marketing activity.
- Provide insights into audience behaviour and trends.
- Database management, including cleaning and updating records.
- Support the implementation and management of the CRM (Salesforce).
- Undertake relevant training when required.

- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the purpose and remit of the post.
