We're looking for a Centre Manager to work as part of the Stockton Parish Church team to oversee delivery of the Spear Programme.

About Spear Stockton

Stockton Parish Church (SPC) is an Anglican Church with an Evangelical Charismatic tradition in the centre of Stockton on Tees. SPC is a diverse worshiping community of around 200 people, a quarter of which are under 18. 

Their mission at SPC is: ‘for everyone to know who they are, whose they are, and the difference they are called to make in the world around them’. They launched a 5 year vision in January 2022 to see their worshiping community grow to 500 people and to plant 3 churches. Centre Manager Person Specification

Key Information:

• Salary: from £27,088 - £31,691

• The Spear Programme offers a rewarding opportunity to work with young people, but it requires a dedicated commitment. The role

You will provide high-quality legal advice and representation at IAA Level 2/3 or Solicitor standard. Your diverse casework will range from assisting sponsored workers on high-risk visas, to managing complex human rights cases and supporting victims of modern slavery and trafficking. Crucially, your work will not happen in isolation. You will work closely with our employment advice team on overlapping cases, collaborate with policy and comms colleagues to evidence systemic issues, and help deliver public legal information and training.

About you

We seek an enthusiastic professional with at least 3 years of experience delivering high-quality immigration advice, who demonstrates a deep empathy for the experiences of vulnerable migrants.

You will also have:

• Level 2 or 3 IAA accreditation OR status as a qualified Solicitor eligible to practice in England and Wales.

• A 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in law or a related subject.

• At least 3 years’ experience providing immigration legal advice in compliance with IAA/SRA standards.

• Excellent legal research, analytical, and case management skills, with the ability to manage complex caseloads and tight deadlines.

• Outstanding client management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to lay persons clearly and compassionately.

• A collaborative, team-first mindset and a commitment to the mission and values of the Work Rights Centre.

• Desirable: Knowledge of Modern Slavery and the National Referral Mechanism (NRM), familiarity with social welfare law, or proficiency in a language other than English.

Coram Children’s Legal Centre is looking for a new Paralegal to join our dedicated, friendly and highly experienced Immigration & Asylum team.

The successful candidate will assist solicitors and senior caseworkers in providing legal advice and representation to primarily legal aid funded clients, including children and young people, parents, carers and others in relation to their immigration & asylum needs.

The Role

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following competencies:

We support people irrespective of age, gender or when the abuse occurred.

We're looking for A highly motivated Ch-ISVA to work across Derbyshire. The role will support people aged 13+ and over including adults who have experienced sexual abuse or rape at any point. The successful candidate with join our friendly, professional and passionate team, working across Derbyshire remotely and in person.

This is a 2-year funded post with specific responsibility to improve and increase our support to those over 65 who are experiencing financial hardship

In the brand-new role of team leader, you will take on the responsibility ofproviding structured line management to our existing advice service. Supporting our four skilled and experienced part-time advice workers, while also expanding the service.

You will coordinate and deliver advice and information to new and existing groups including our own Older People’s Lunch Clubs.

Establish new satellite provision, delivering finance workshops, and drop-in services, and providing additional delivery capacity.

Ensure our Advice and Information team keep up to date with changes to legislation and support mechanisms so that they are empowered to support people in a holistic way. This will include signposting service users to the most appropriate support both internally, to other parts of our service, and to other external support.

You will lead on our efforts to gain the Advice Quality Standard (AQS) to ensure our service is of the highest professional standard.

You will represent ICCM on relevant panels and network groups across Greater Manchester. This ensures our service is connected to the wider support landscape and integrated with city and region-wide initiatives.

You will be expected to take on a limited caseload of one-to-one appointments providing advice and information to people.

Between drop-in, group sessions and one-to-one case load it is expected that you will work based on approximately 2 days per week being direct delivery. This is once the role has been fully established.

The Team Leader will focus on:

· Increasing organisational capacity, extending our reach and reducing waiting times.

· Coordinating and developing the team, ensuring the service continues to respond to changes in the welfare system, and that updates are communicated effectively across the team and to the people we support.

· Developing the AQS framework to improve and ensure the quality of work.

· Increase capacity to develop links with other stakeholders and VCFSE, building on existing connections and forging new links with other agencies and referral pathways.

· Ensuring our casework, feedback and monitoring (including our CRM system) is accurate and up to date, so we can best show the impact of our work.

· Supporting our Irish Traveller work to ensure all residents can access our services. 

· Contribute to the delivery of culturally specific training to professionals within health and social care across Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

· Day-to-day supervision and coordination of the Advice and Information Team, under the direction of the Advice and Advocacy Manager

· Provide regular individual supervision to each team member

· Develop culturally specific approaches to supporting older people across Manchester who are experiencing financial hardship. Including extending our reach to new people/areas and ensuring information is available, accessible, and in an appropriate format.

· Lead on attaining the Advice Quality Mark.

· Develop our service knowledge to take account of changes to the benefit system, council tax and energy prices.

· Provide oversight of the referral and booking system and the Case Management System to ensure all client activity is recorded. Working with the Administrator and other staff to ensure the smooth delivery of services.

· Review and enhance the outcomes monitoring system for the service. Ensuring good data collection and reporting internally and for funders.

· Recognise and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns and make referrals where necessary in line with ICCM’s policies and procedures.

· Manage a restricted caseload

· Maintain accurate and timely case records and ensure follow-up actions are completed.

It’s been a very successful few years for PCR's Events & Community team with good results across the board, increasing income by over £1 million every year since 2023. And we recently won Fundraising Charity of the Year at the National Fundraising Awards 2026!

Now’s an exciting time to join us as we work on a new multi-year strategy and expand the team yet again, bringing in new resource to give the different activity areas space to grow and ensure we can do our best work – contributing to PCR’s lifesaving mission, developing our careers and enjoying work within an ambitious and supportive environment.

This role is new, created to focus on community fundraising which is a growing area with huge potential for PCR. We currently receive significant unsolicited income from our brilliant supporters, but there is a key opportunity to take a more proactive approach to recruiting new community fundraisers, improving their supporter experience and testing new offerings & products. You will work with the team to create and deliver a plan for this new proactive approach and will lead on day-to-day relationship management with fundraisers.

You will also lead the project management and delivery of some community-focused fundraising events. For example,our annual Snowdonia for Science event or testing new PCR-owned products which work for a community fundraising audience. We currently expect the split of time to be roughly 75% on community fundraising and 25% on events, but the two areas will be closely connected, and this split may change over time. We are excited to work with you to develop the direction of this role as the team and portfolio grows.

You will report to the Head of Events & Community and work closely with the whole team, as well as colleagues across PCR. Most of the Events team try to work together once a week when possible at our London office (Chancery Lane) but we have flexible working arrangements, so you can choose to be office based or hybrid. You would be needed to travel to regular supporter events across the UK (many of which are currently in the London/ SE England area) and to some team days in London on an ad-hoc basis. 

Key Responsibilities

At PCR, we make team members’ development a key priority and there is always a % of time available to collaborate more widely for your development and interest. However, your main focus will initially be:

Project management and income growth

• Create and lead a plan to implement a proactive community fundraising portfolio, identifying new approaches to test and audiences to target which build towards a long-term sustainable income stream, ensuring alignment with the Public Fundraising strategy.
• Design and deliver ambitious fundraising budgets for your area which contribute net income towards PCR’s mission.
• Lead the project management and delivery of the community fundraising and events activities you are responsible for.
• This will include monitoring objectives, budgets and the bigger picture to ensure opportunities are seized & risks are minimised.
• Carry out supporter data and income processing tasks as required, including on the CRM and other internal systems.
• Work with the team to create and deliver effective marketing plans which meet recruitment targets.
• Analyse results based on KPIs & supporter feedback, proactively implementing changes & improvements.
• Ensure your fundraising activities are delivered in line with fundraising law & regulations, and with PCR’s policies.

Stewardship and relationship management

• Lead on the delivery of a great supporter experience for community fundraisers in line with our Public Fundraising manifesto, motivating fundraisers to raise more and remain loyal supporters of PCR.
• Interact with supporters via a range of communication channels and in-person, attending events and presenting about PCR’s work when required. This will include travel, for which TOIL will be given and reasonable expenses covered.
• Lead on relationship management for your area, spotting potential for fundraisers to have a greater impact with PCR as a whole, and working with colleagues in Philanthropy, Partnerships, Patient Projects & across the organisation to achieve this.
• Carry out stewardship tasks using tools like Mailchimp, GivePanel and JustGiving, for which training will be provided.
• Oversee stock management via our fulfilment house and ensure we have high-quality fundraising merchandise.

Product development and innovation

• Seize new opportunities for products, journeys or events which would engage a community fundraising audience, taking a test & learn approach. For this, there will be realistic budgets & an understanding of the investment needed for new ideas.
• Stay up to date with sector trends and maintain a strong understanding of PCR’s existing (and target) supporters to create and implement products and experiences that motivate and inspire.
• Use feedback and data to spot opportunities for the constant improvement of fundraisers’ experience with PCR.
• Work to engage supporters beyond their initial activity, testing ongoing journeys and maximising their life-time value for PCR.

Teamwork

• Alongside line managers within the team, help to oversee the relevant day-to-day work of the Supporter Engagement Officer/ Assistants who are supporting your activities, to ensure effective delivery and collaboration.
• Contribute to team strategy and capacity planning.
• Work with the team to embed our agile ways of working, modelling the principle of collective responsibility.
• Contribute to the improvement of relevant processes & infrastructure to ensure efficiency, compliance & best practice.
• Attend and actively contribute to meetings, sharing new ideas and learnings that might be useful for the wider team.
• Model PCR’s organisational values: innovation, collaboration, accountability & empathy (championing the patient voice).

The Community Fundraising & Events Manager may also get involved with other work to support Public Fundraising activities as appropriate. Attendance will be required at weekend and evening events, for which TOIL will be given.

We have an exciting opportunity to become a member of our farm leadership team as a Skills and Wellbeing Lead. You will lead the Skills and Wellbeing Programme at Oasis City Farm – Southampton, delivering high-quality sessions, therapeutic activities and workshops for adults and young people. With the aim of building knowledge, practical skills, confidence and wellbeing through animal care, gardening and nature-based learning. This will include leading our Adult day service; developing opportunities for farm users to gain qualifications; facilitating wellbeing workshops and provision that build mental health wellbeing; working with the community lead to develop our volunteer and work placement programme; work alongside our garden assistant to lead on our garden project development, ensuring it is sustainable. This role includes line managing a team to enable the above strands of work to be sustainable and impactful for the wider community.

The role will contribute to the day-to-day operation of the farm, supporting animal care and site maintenance through these programmes and community activities in line with the Oasis ethos.
