Job Description
Provide assertive outreach and engagement activities and undertake assessment for targeted and specialist treatment interventions for young people referred to the service under the supervision of senior staff.
Provide targeted and structured substance use interventions, both 1:1 and group work, for those young people aged 11-25 and their families when required. This will take place within a range of settings including, schools, community settings and home visits.
Provide satellite services away from our central office bases where required, to offer clients a wider choice of accessing substance use services and recovery support, to enable those with specialist requirements to have their needs met in appropriate settings.
Facilitate and support targeted groups, focus groups and service user participation.
Qualifications
· A relevant qualification such as youth work, counselling, health and social care, and/or relevant experience of therapeutic delivery, and alternative suitable qualifications.

About the role
The Senior Individual Giving Executive (Digital Acquisition) will play a key part in the delivery of the Individual Giving programme, producing sector-leading comms and campaigns to recruit and retain supporters. You will work closely with the rest of the IG team and the Fundraising and Communications Department to deliver high-quality, data-led campaigns across a range of marketing channels. About the Service
East London Rape Crisis provides free, confidential specialist support for women and girls who have been raped or experienced any other form of sexual violence or abuse at any time in their lives, regardless of whether or not they have reported to the police. We offer confidential and independent support. Services include advocacy, emotional and practical support, one-to-one counselling and group work.
About You
In the role of Young Women and Girls Advocate you will hold a caseload of young women and girls aged 11-17 years old, who have been subjected to sexual violence. You will support those whose choose to report through the criminal justice process. In addition, the role involves providing broader support to young women and girls to address the multiple impacts of sexual violence. This post involves travel across East London, and a hybrid model of home and office working.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Rape Crisis Service in a supportive feminist organisation. We’re looking for a highly organised and self-motivated woman who is passionate about ending violence against women. You’ll have a ‘can-do’ approach and demonstrable commitment to nia’s feminist approach to supporting women and girls. About the Role
This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting young people through education by acting as the vital link between partner schools and a team of inspirational volunteer mentors.
Working closely with schools, you will coordinate and oversee the successful delivery of the charity's in-school programme, ensuring volunteers have the guidance, support and resources they need to make a lasting difference to pupils' lives. Alongside programme coordination, you will help develop volunteers throughout their year of service, supporting their professional development while building strong relationships with schools and key stakeholders.
The role is predominantly school-based from Monday to Thursday, with most Fridays spent attending training and development sessions at the Birmingham office or online.

About You

You may come from an education, youth work, volunteering, project coordination or community engagement background, although we're open to a range of experiences as long as you have the right skills and passion.
