About the role:
At Single Homeless Project (SHP), we believe that everyone deserves a place to call home - and the support to make it truly theirs. As a Caseworker in our Tenancy Sustainment Team, you’ll do so much more than help people keep a roof over their heads. You’ll be part of someone’s journey toward stability, growth, and renewed confidence. Whether welcoming someone at the start of their support journey, walking alongside them as they navigate life’s challenges, or supporting them to move on to greater independence, your work will have a lasting impact.
This is a role that develops you as much as it empowers others. Every day brings new opportunities to build trusting relationships, use your creativity to solve real-world problems, and collaborate with a committed team that is shaping the future of housing support across London. You’ll deliver one-to-one, person-led support that enables people to maintain their tenancies, improve their wellbeing, build financial resilience, and engage fully in their communities. Alongside your clients, you’ll draw on a wide network of Single Homeless Project (SHP) and community services to help turn personal goals into meaningful outcomes.
Join us, and you’ll be part of an ambitious, values-led organisation where you’ll grow your skills, stretch your potential, and see the tangible difference your work makes - every single day. About us:
We’re London’s leading homelessness charity – and we get things done.
In a city where hundreds are forced into homelessness every day, our work has never been more needed or more challenging. And we’re not shying away. We’re rolling up our sleeves to make change and helping over 10,000 Londoners every year. We prevent homelessness, provide safe places to live and give people the opportunity to rebuild their lives and transform their futures. And we never give up.
We’re here for Londoners wherever they are on their journey. We start with trust, building relationships that help people feel safe, supported, and ready to move forward. This is a relationship-driven role. You will connect with individuals, community groups, schools and colleges, local organisations and businesses, inspiring them to get involved with Shiloh and become long-term supporters.
You will have the opportunity to be creative and develop new fundraising ideas, while also nurturing the relationships we already have. From community fundraising events and supporter-led activities to corporate partnerships, campaigns and sponsorship opportunities, you will help turn connections into meaningful support for Shiloh.

About you
We are looking for someone who is confident, proactive and passionate about building relationships. You will have at least two years’ experience in community fundraising or a similar relationship-based role, together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of fundraising within the charitable or voluntary sector, donor stewardship, fundraising codes of practice, GDPR, CRM systems and Google Workspace would be an advantage.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable, as the role will involve travelling across South Yorkshire.
Why join Shiloh?
This is an opportunity to join a charity with more than 30 years of experience and impact in Rotherham, at an exciting point in our development. You will be joining a supportive, values-driven team where relationships really matter and where your work will directly contribute to helping people facing homelessness.
We offer:
25 days’ annual leave
6% employer pension contribution after three months
Hybrid and flexible working options
Opportunities for training and personal development
