As a Community Manager, you will take ownership of the day‑to‑day housing management and services within the community, ensuring residents receive the highest standard of support, advice and practical assistance. Your role will focus on resident wellbeing, maintaining an excellent living environment, and building strong relationships that foster a safe, supportive and engaged community atmosphere.
What you’ll do
You will provide hands‑on support to residents, helping them resolve queries, managing expectations and proactively identifying ways to improve their wellbeing. You’ll build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to ensure residents can access the right support, while managing safeguarding responsibilities and risks appropriately. You will oversee repairs, maintenance and estate services, supervise contractors on site, and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and data protection requirements. Your role will also involve supporting community engagement, promoting the use of communal spaces and leading activities that enhance wellbeing. In addition, you will line‑manage a cleaner/grounds team and provide cover for other communities where needed, ensuring consistent, high‑quality service delivery.
This role will require an Enhanced DBS.

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a lasting difference to the lives of vulnerable adults in Oxford?
Our client is looking for 3 people to join the St Mungo’s Rough Sleeping Service as Housing Led Workers on fixed term contracts until March 2027. They are offering 2 Full Time posts (37.5 hours per week), and 1 Part time (22.5 hours per week).
The team will work in partnership with the Oxford Rough Sleeping Service, and in partnership with local partner agencies to provide long term tenancy sustainment support to clients experiencing homelessness. Their aim is to support people to access suitable accommodation; and move-on with the right support in place.
In the role of Housing Led Worker you will work as part of a team to oversee the day-to-day delivery of the service. Managing a caseload of around 15-20 clients you will:
- Provide personalised, flexible support that helps clients access the right services for their mental and physical health, substance use, community engagement, learning, training, and employment.
- Deliver intensive, ongoing support to help clients establish their home, sustain their tenancy, and work towards their personal goals and aspirations.
- Work in partnership with clients, using a creative and strengths-based approach to help people manage tenancy, build independence, and rebuild their lives in the community.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners.
- They will provide support and supervision to help you work independently and comfortably as a lone worker to support clients and effectively manage your own caseload.

Reporting to the Director of Services, as Supported Housing Manager you will have responsibility for the opening and day to day management of a new six unit LGBTQ+ housing scheme, working to create a safe, welcoming and psychologically-informed home environment for all beneficiaries. As Supported Housing Manager you will oversee a small, committed team of frontline staff, and will work to ensure that the support delivered is person-centered, holistic and to the highest quality. Acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will ensure that team members fulfil their duties in safeguarding children and young people in line with company policies, and will work in partnership with a range of agencies to achieve best possible outcomes for all service users. You will also provide training to professionals and support to LGBTQ+ people, ensuring that professionals are working in an LGBTQ+ informed and inclusive way.

Salary
The salary for the Lettings Coordinator post is £28,793 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

About the role
You will ensure you and your team will deliver high quality legal services and manage our Legal Aid Contract, with your main focus being on your own caseload and to manage and supervise the legal teams who are advocating for clients with housing issues, as well as bringing about systemic change. You will be dealing with personnel issues, providing professional support and supervision to your team, including but not limited to, independent file reviews (IFRs), time recording and good case management, as well as carrying your own caseload of housing litigation.
Contributing to the strategic direction of Shelter legal services nationally will be an important aspect of the role too, as will taking the lead on delivering strategic change aligned to Shelter’s strategy and ensuring Legal aid contract requirements and performance targets are met.
You will be able to identify test case opportunities to address systemic bad practice and so achieve change for a greater number of people and will work closely with the Head of Legal Services, the Hub Management Team and teams within Communications, Policy and Campaigns and Business Development. As a key member of the management team, you will also get to play your part in the management of our offices, including attending management team meetings and collaborating with other teams.
About you
1. You will be an experienced housing solicitor, court advocate, carrying your own caseload as well as managing and supervising others.
2. You will have a minimum of 4 years post qualification legal practice experience
3. You will have supervisor status and have substantial knowledge of housing and homelessness law.
4. You are able to carry out research and policy analysis in the areas of housing, homeless and welfare law, produce reports and presentations.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and energetic supervisor or team leader to take up a full-time role within our organisation as a Operations Supervisor to be part of our small and dedicated team. About the role
In this role we will trust you to work with other team members on a caseload of clients delivering personalised support to them.
