An exciting opportunity has arisen for a House Unit Manager, Residential to join our Nursing and Quality Team. This role will require the successful candidate to be accountable, alongside a team of Clinical Leads and Deputy House Managers, for leading and managing a team of nursing and care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to children and young people.  

You will be the lead professional responsible for coordinating the overall care and management of the children across a minimum of three Residential Houses and be the key contact for the family and multidisciplinary team.

You will provide clinical and operational leadership across all the Residential Houses providing highly specialised advice to nursing teams and wider professional colleagues as well as be involved in the strategic development of the residential services.

Role Requirements

· In collaboration with the Placement Managers, you will ensure care is appropriately planned and resourced, and you will ensure care is delivered in a safe manner at all times.

· You will be responsible for ensuring that the care in the Houses enables the children to access rehabilitation sessions, clinics, education and leisure activities as scheduled in their timetable.

· You will work as part of a leadership team comprising of a House Unit Manager, 4 x Deputy House Managers / Deputy Clinical Leads and 4 x Clinical Leads.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

This Team management post will take a lead role within Next Link Domestic Abuse services, supporting women, men and children experiencing or who have experienced domestic violence and abuse.

This Manager has primary responsibility for managing an integrated staff team to deliver:

• MARAC representation

Key duties and responsibilities of our Female* IDVA Team Manager

· This IDVA Team Manager post will take responsibility for managing our team of Independent Domestic Violence Advisors operating across South Glos.

· Provide leadership and performance management for the staff team under your remit, manage the services according to service level agreements, ensuring staff work to high professional standards.

· Promote the service through building positive relationships with Survivors, Police, Lighthouse, current and potential referrers.

· Ensure effective access to the service for survivors and encourage their engagement with the service, through multi agency working and service flexibility.

· Co-ordinate and manage referral and support delivery process in line with the referrals and allocations policies and risk assessment procedures, ensuring a quick and effective response to meet client need.

· Determine staff caseloads and manage service and staff capacity, co-ordinating the team’s support of service users using the full range of contact and support methods.

· Ensure risk assessments (including DASH), safety plans, support plans, referrals, and risk management plans are carried out to a high standard and are managed appropriately and that the service is represented at the MARAC.

· Act as organisational MARAC lead jointly with our Service Manager in South Glos.

· Join our team of Safeguarding Officer’s across the organisations.

The successful candidate will:

· Have substantial experience of working with victims/survivors of sexual violence or domestic abuse.

· Team management experience, including staff support, supervision and performance management within the housing, domestic abuse, or similar support sector.

· Extensive experience of trauma informed practice and sensitively assessing and responding to the needs and risks of survivors and children experiencing domestic violence.

· Experience working with multi agency partners e.g. The Police, Social Services and MARAC.

· Experience of delivering presentations and/or training.

· Demonstrable experience of being proactive rather than reactive: focuses on preventing problems in the future rather than just resolving immediate issues.

· A current, full driving licence and access to appropriate motorised transport is essential.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead CPAG’s strategic legal work at an important time in the organisation’s fight to end child poverty. As Head of Strategic Litigation, you will oversee and carry out CPAG’s work using legal cases for positive impact, to benefit families and children in poverty. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of CPAG’s legal work, in addition to managing CPAG’s legal practice and playing an active role in conducting high-profile litigation on a day-to-day basis.

We are looking for someone who is strategically minded and passionate about using the law to advocate for the rights of, and directly improve the lives of, families in poverty. The ideal candidate will be a solicitor (E&W qualified) with substantial post-qualification experience. You will have experience of conducting public law litigation and legal aid (publicly funded) work. You will be able to supervise the casework of colleagues, such as CPAG’s junior or trainee solicitor(s) and welfare benefit advisers, and support the professional development and wellbeing of your team. You may have experience of working with clients in vulnerable situations or with additional needs, for example, survivors of domestic abuse, refugees, disabled people or children and young people.

We are looking to employ a Housing and Welfare Benefits Advisor for Camden Disability Action's Social Welfare Advice services. You will have at least two years' experience providing welfare rights advice and housing casework and have up-to -date knowledge of welfare benefits and housing law, especially relating to Disabled adults.  Your role will be to identify potential income maximisation and provide the support needed to get benefits correctly assessed, and assisting with appeals as well as supporting Disabled people with housing support, including homelessness prevention measures.  You will work in a holistic way, managing and holding complex cases and advocating for clients across statutory services, specialist advice partners and community organisations.

You will be committed to learning more about the Social Model of Disability and you will share our vision for a radically inclusive world where people with differences are never disabled by the society in which they live.

The post is currently funded for 12 months, however it is an organisational priority to secure ongoing funding for this role and to keep growing the size and scope of our advice team.

The role is advertised as hybrid and a minimum of 2 days on site in the NW5 1LB office is essential.

Scope of role

The Debt Advisor is responsible for providing comprehensive, face-to-face debt advice to over-indebted Londoners, tailored to their specific circumstances. This role involves conducting detailed interviews to understand clients’ financial problems, researching options, and helping clients make informed decisions. The advisor ensures income maximisation and provides ongoing casework support, acting on behalf of clients where necessary. Maintaining up-to-date case records and staying informed about relevant legislation, policies, and procedures are crucial aspects of the role. The Debt Advisor is also expected to complete continuous professional development and contribute to the team’s overall objectives by meeting targets, prioritising workloads, and demonstrating financial efficiency.

Our Information and Advice service provides rights-based information, advice and advocacy on Welfare Benefits, Social Care and Housing options; practical assistance with individual grant applications, accessing social tariffs, blue/purple badge and taxi card applications. The service is delivered through a range of channels, including face to face, telephone, email and digital, across Kensington and Chelsea borough.

Talking Money is looking for a compassionate, creative problem solver to join our team of dedicated specialist debt and welfare benefits advisers.

You will help people on low incomes build financial security by providing clear, compassionate and high-quality welfare benefits and debt advice and casework. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to strengthen people’s confidence, understanding and capability and to identifying barriers within local systems (for example, within the local authority) and contributing to efforts to reduce these. 

Your work will be rooted in a person-centred approach—flexible, respectful and tailored to each individual. Everything you do will help us deliver our organisational purpose:

About Talking Money  

Talking Money is an independent charity providing free, expert money advice across Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Demand for our services continues to rise.  

Our approach is:  

• Integrated: addressing debt, benefits, energy/fuel poverty, income and wellbeing together.

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong experience delivering welfare benefits advice and casework to people facing financial hardship. 

• Passion for improving the lives of the people who we work with. 

• A willingness to learn debt advice to a generalist level. 

• Commitment to working collaboratively with colleagues and clients.

Hours: 30 – 37.5 hours a week (0.8 - 1.0 FTE) 

Contract term: Permanent

Location: Hybrid working negotiable but majority of time in office is required to deliver advice as part of a supporting, collaborative team. 

Salary: Grade 5 SCP 19-25 (approx. £32,000 - £35,000 FTE for FY26-27) 

Reporting to: Leadership Team 

Holiday entitlement: 25 days FTE pro rata (rising to 30 days after 5 years) + bank holidays.

SV 2has been supporting victims and survivors of sexual abuse since 1994, and today provides a range of services to anyone in Derbyshire and Derby City who has experienced sexual abuse, assault or violence, including their friends and family members. We support people irrespective of age, gender or when the abuse occurred.

We're looking for a highly motivated ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) to work across Derbyshire. The role will support people aged 18 and over who have experienced sexual abuse or rape at any point. The successful candidate with join our friendly, professional and passionate team, working across Derbyshire remotely and in person.

You might be the right person for the role if you have:

· At least one year’s experience in managing complex client cases

· Experience of building relationships with partner services and other professionals

· Knowledge of issues affecting victims of sexual violence and abuse

· Experience in delivering services in a confidential environment

· Driving licence and access to a car with business insurance

· Knowledge and experience in relation to the Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults and Children

Main Purpose and Scope of the Job:

Working closely with Royal South Hants Hospital and Southampton General Hospital’s Safeguarding Teams, you will provide support and advice hospital-wide, with a focus on Accident and Emergency and Maternity Services.

Assessing the needs of individuals and ensure the service user have a clear pathway of support across services and agencies, both mainstream and specialist.

Working with those experiencing domestic abuse to increase their personal safety, and that of any children, and inform them of their rights and options and to identify the needs of their children and support them to access appropriate services.

Strengthening and developing links and pathways with RSH & Southampton General Hospital colleagues and other partnerships that collaboratively work within the RSH & General.

Promoting awareness of the experiences and needs of those living with domestic abuse, particularly in relation to their mental and physical health.

Stop Domestic Abuse is a proud women-led organisation supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse across Portsmouth and Hampshire. Our vision is a world without domestic abuse, and we work to ensure that it’s ‘everyone’s business.’

We provide refuge and community-based support, delivering in a trauma-informed way for adults, children and young people, tailored to individual needs. Our 19 refuges offer safe, welcoming homes, and across our services we provide one-to-one support and group activities to help improve their safety and to meet others with similar experiences. We support children process their experiences and help regain a sense of safety.

Our UP2U programmes support those seeking to change abusive behaviours, and we also offer specialist support for victims of stalking. We also deliver training to professionals, including the hair and beauty industry, to recognise domestic abuse and connect people to specialist support services.
