At Ambitious about Autism, we're currently looking for a Corporate Partnerships Officer (MAT cover) to join our Fundraising team.
You'll identify and cultivate corporate prospects, supporting on securing income through written application and pitches, whilst managing a portfolio of existing corporate partnerships. You'll build and maintain effective relationships to maximise corporate participation with current and prospective supporters.
You'll proactively identify funding opportunities and use your own initiative to make suggestions on our approach and/or suitable funding areas, devising innovative ways of accessing and engaging companies, as well as organising volunteering opportunities for corporate partners.
You will have:
- Experience of working successfully with corporate funders
- Experience of supporter relationship management with a track record in building successful relationships and raising funds from companies.
- Experience in accurate, timely data recording and CRM
- Excellent communication skills with good written and verbal communication.

About the Youth Endowment Fund
We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.
Every child should grow up safe from harm. Yet far too many are drawn into violence or live with the fear of it. This robs them of opportunity and damages whole communities. Even when violence doesn’t strike directly, we know that the fear of violence has a terrible effect on children’s lives.
The Youth Endowment Fund exists to try and permanently change things. To succeed, we must build an exceptional body of knowledge about violence affecting young people and how we reduce it. This knowledge has to be both rigorous and highly relevant to those making decisions about how to support vulnerable young people. We need to find out what works and what doesn’t through evidence synthesis, data analysis and qualitative research into children’s lives. We need to convert this into highly accessible content on what works, how delivery organisations need to change their practice and how the systems they operate in need to be reformed. We then need to work with the right people that can make change happen, across systems, policies and practice, to have a real impact on reducing violence affecting children’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
Deciding which projects, we should fund and evaluate is key, as is making sure we deliver our funding and evaluations to the highest standards. Our Programme Managers are responsible for identifying, assessing, funding and supporting programmes designed to prevent youth violence.
Programme Managers at YEF come from all walks of life. We look for individuals who may have experience in the youth sector, children’s social care, policing, criminal justice, education or how to involve local residents in making decisions about their own neighbourhoods.
As a Programme Manager at YEF, you will work very closely with our evaluation team to make sure we learn from what’s being implemented and that the organisations we fund are prepared and excited to work with us to find what works.
To achieve this, you will:

Make sure we choose the best organisations to work with by assessing funding applications, critically appraising delivery plans and budgets and getting to know potential grantees. These assessments will help you form recommendations to our senior leadership team about which opportunities to pursue.

Work closely with grantees, external evaluators and our own evaluation team to ensure that the activity we are funding will be evaluable to the highest standards. This requires you to support and advise grantees on how to work in the context of an evaluation – usually, a randomised controlled trial (you don’t have to have experience working on a randomised controlled trial in the past, but it helps!).

Build strong relationships with our grantees and provide them with ongoing management and support through the life of their funding. You will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of grantees and ensuring targets are met and any project risks are effectively mitigated.

Think carefully about how we find the best projects to fund and evaluate, ensuring we can best find what works to keep children safe. To do this you might need to work with colleagues to spot where there has previously been a lack of evidence about what works (we will help you with this!). You would project manage these projects so they are excellently delivered – on time, within budget, and to a high standard. You will help to determine what our commissioning and management processes aim to achieve and design grant application and management processes to achieve it.

You’ll manage our engagement with potential grantees to make sure we are attracting a diverse and promising portfolio of organisations to apply.

Report to our team and external stakeholders regularly on how well the projects we are funding are going, spotting where grantees need support and coming up with how we can best provide that support.

Represent the Youth Endowment Fund at external events, including reporting and presenting to our Grants and Evaluation Committee, who approve all our funding decisions.

Hybrid Working Details
The office is based in Central London, but you don’t have to be. Those living in London and within the 32 London Boroughs are expected to be in the office a minimum of 2 days per week. If you live outside of London and work remotely, you’ll be expected to work from the London office 2 days per month. As part of our commitment to flexible working we will consider a range of options for the successful applicant. All options can be discussed at the interview stage.

Role purpose
Adoption UK is undertaking a major digital transformation, initially focused on CRM and Website developments. Our Digital Transformation Team will drive this change programme, working with colleagues and external digital partners; and subsequently deliver our on-going digital strategy implementation and development.
You will support the Digital Transformation Lead to refine and implement Adoption UK’s digital strategy, to deliver our digital transformation project. Main Purpose of the Post:
Provide advocacy, support, impartial advice, and information to survivors of all ages who have experienced sexual violence at any point in their lives. This includes support within the Criminal Justice System (CJS), as well as delivering informed choices sessions to help survivors decide whether they wish to engage with the CJS process.
Key information:
· We require the post holder to be female under Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR), Schedule 9 (Work; Exceptions), Part 1 (Occupational Requirements), of the Equality Act (2010).

2. For survivors reporting to the Police
· Support survivors through the criminal justice system explaining the procedures, the ISVA role, and the client’s rights within the system.
· Liaise with the police and CPS on behalf of survivors and/or with survivors.
· Participate in case conferences with the police, CPS, and prosecuting barrister.
· Support and advocate for clients to access special measures.
· Where appropriate, support survivors to provide a victim impact statement during the trial phase.
3. Quality Assurance
· Maintain confidential client records, sharing and managing information in accordance with PRCCG Policies and Procedures.
· Develop and maintain effective working relationships with agencies supporting survivors.
· Ensure survivors receive the best possible standard of support in line with Rape Crisis National Service Standards.
· Attend and participate in regular Team Meetings, Peer Review Meetings, Reflective Practice and Clinical Supervision.
4. General
· Manage a caseload while taking responsibility for scheduling time off to ensure a healthy work/life balance.
· Work flexible hours where required and dependent on the needs of PRCCG and its service users.

Purpose of the job
To drive forward Thames21’s ‘Thames Valley’ (broadly Oxfordshire/ Buckinghamshire/ Berkshire) catchment areas programme in line with our 5-year plan and future strategies ensuring appropriate integration across Thames21 and partner organisations. This includes building and sustaining a team to reduce diffuse pollution, increase biodiversity, improve water quality, and support agricultural businesses to deliver environmental improvement works and nature friendly farming practices.
The postholder requires operational experience and knowledge at catchment scale as well as project and people management experience. They will take a strategic overview of the programme and guide our growth in the thematical and geographical area, with a particular focus on the following outcomes.
- Work with 20 farmers each year to reduce diffuse pollution at source and flood risk.
- Offer advice on nature-based solutions and grant funding to farmers and landowners.
- Plant 30,000 trees annually.
- Input and support the achievement of other applicable 5-year plan targets. i.e. River restoration and catchment scale monitoring.
- Increase Thames21 presence in the Thames Valley, identifying opportunities, supporting, and complimenting the work of other NGOs and regional Rivers Trusts.
The role is a relatively new area of work for Thames21 and may consist of supporting a range of projects and programmes including Catchment Partnerships, Farm Clusters and Natural Flood Management.
Finally, the postholder will take a lead in progressing Thames21’s resilience strategy i.e. working closely with the Fundraising Team, the Catchment Partnership Team, and partner organisations to increase private and public investment to deliver healthy resilient rivers and catchments.
Additional requirements may include supporting other Thames21 projects and funding applications, as the need arises.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
You will oversee and manage the delivery of diverse projects. You will also develop your team’s scope, strategy and action plan in order to grow the team to deliver 5-year plan targets work closely with expert (e.g. statutory bodies, authorities, NGOs and academics) and non-expert (e.g. community groups and volunteers) stakeholders to develop, fund and deliver projects within the catchments, and oversee their management. You will also work closely with the Assistant/ Head of Improving Rivers and other members of the Thames21 team to develop funding applications and steer the direction of the catchment areas.

Develop and expand the Thames Valley catchment programme in line with Thames21’s 5-year strategy, ensuring integration with other teams.

You may be required to liaise with Adult Social Care and other home providers to coordinate home support. You’ll follow up on calls or visits to ensure the patient is managing well at home. By providing the proper support, patients can be discharged sooner, and the risk of readmission is significantly reduced.

The Policy and Campaigns Manager leads ADUK in championing reforms that pave the way for better access for all disabled people partnered with a highly trained assistance dog. Through dynamic campaigns and impactful initiatives, this role is pivotal to how ADUK amplifies the voices of those whose lives are transformed by these life changing dogs, ensuring that their rights are protected for years to come.
Key Responsibilities
- In partnership with the Executive Director (ED), continue to develop a compelling case for taking a standards-based approach to the training and welfare of assistance dogs.
- Gather, analyse and apply robust evidence to strengthen ADUK’s credibility, influence and voice on key policy and campaigning issues.
- Work with the ED to identify and progress opportunities for ADUK and its members to engage with policymakers, regulators and other decision-makers, and to support positive policy change.
- Develop and deliver written and in-person reports and briefings for different audiences, including politicians, policy officials, and other decision-makers.
- Collaborate with the ED and Head of Education and Allyship to develop relationships with key stakeholders.
- Lead, manage and convene the ADUK Advisory Panel, ensuring it operates effectively and informs ADUK’s policy and campaigning work.
- Monitor legislation and policy developments relevant to assistance dogs and dog welfare and communicate these as appropriate to members.

As an Outreach Worker in Complex Needs, you will be responsible for a caseload of clients who are residing in the Emergency Bed Spaces in London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH) along with clients in TA and some who may be rough sleeping. Ensuring delivery of a high-quality service to individuals experiencing rough sleeping. We work in a compassionate and trauma informed way, ensuring we are promoting client independence and in a client-led manner. Your skills will be vital in supporting operational effectiveness and the team to engage with people who need help most.
You will work closely with the hostel services, local authority partners, statutory and voluntary services, and key stakeholders to ensure an integrated, person-centred approach to tackling rough sleeping. In this role you will:
- Caseload: Caseload of clients who are allocated daily. Providing a person-centred approach to working with clients through: Support needs assessments, Risk assessments, referrals to services, and updating relevant parties on progress of client cases
- Shifts: Planning and conducting outreach shifts on early/mid/late basis on the streets of LBTH to identify and support clients who are rough sleeping.
