Job Title: Female Recovery Worker
Location: This residential site, located in Brighton, benefits from great transport links, with Hove Station and several local bus routes nearby. Kindly be aware that step free access is not available at this service.
Salary: £26,200

We are hiring a Recovery Worker to join our Women's Service based which is based in Hove. The service provides low, medium, and high level support to women who have experienced homelessness, criminal justice history, substance use, mental health, and domestic abuse. The role
You will provide high-quality legal advice and representation at IAA Level 2/3 or Solicitor standard. Your diverse casework will range from assisting sponsored workers on high-risk visas, to managing complex human rights cases and supporting victims of modern slavery and trafficking. About you

A 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in law or a related subject.
At least 3 years’ experience providing immigration legal advice in compliance with IAA/SRA standards.
Excellent legal research, analytical, and case management skills, with the ability to manage complex caseloads and tight deadlines.
Outstanding client management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to lay persons clearly and compassionately.

We are seeking a Senior Peer Support Worker to join the team in Lewisham, using personal lived experience of mental health difficulties to provide person-centred, recovery-focused peer support to people on hospital wards and as they are discharged to journey towards being settled in the community. This role will also line manage a Peer Support Worker, providing regular supervision and support, annual appraisals and development opportunities.
The Senior Peer Support Worker will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team within the Unit, assisting in-patients in developing essential skills and coping mechanisms, while promoting overall wellness through strength based and non-directive conversations. They will provide both practical and emotional support, facilitate access to community resources to help individuals maintain their independence while ensuring their wellbeing.

At Likewise, the core of what we do is build meaningful one-to-one relationships with people who are finding life difficult, and use those relationships to help people feel supported and make change.
We're recruiting a Pod Leader to join our Floating Support team. As a Pod Leader, you are the person who holds that relationship with every client in your pod. RCJ Advice is an exceptional Citizens Advice and Law Centre delivering national legal advice services, both frontline and second tier, to people who are unable to afford legal representation and advice. As a Support Worker at Ace of Clubs drop-in day centre supporting people who are homeless and facing adversity, you will play a key role in supporting individuals who may be navigating chaotic lifestyles, trauma, and multiple disadvantages. You will provide practical and emotional support, help people access essential services, and work to empower them to move towards independence.
Your role will involve working directly with service users, managing case records, liaising with partner agencies, and contributing to the smooth running of our busy centre. About the role:
Join us at Single Homeless Project (SHP) as part of our Lewisham Vulnerable Adults Accommodation Service (LVAAS), delivering accommodation-based support across our properties in Brockley and New Cross. This is hands-on, day-to-day work alongside people experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage, where no two days are the same. You’ll build real relationships with clients, supporting them to stabilise, develop life skills and move towards greater independence, while navigating the challenges that can come with housing, health and wider support needs.
As a Project Worker, you’ll be at the centre of the service; working closely with colleagues and partner agencies to coordinate support that genuinely moves people forward. Alongside your client work, you’ll play a key role in keeping the service running safely and smoothly, from maintaining a secure, welcoming environment to staying on top of health and fire safety standards across the properties.

About the role
Our Social Prescribing service supports patients referred by GP practices across Central Islington.Working within a fast, paced, person-centred environment, Social Prescribing Link Workers support individuals to identify what matters most to them and connects with community services, activities and support that improves their well-being and addresses the wider determinants of health.
The service benefits from close collaboration with our Connect service and access to over 120 referral partners, offering a diverse range of opportunities to support residents’ health, wellbeing and independence.

What You’ll Be Doing
As part of a dedicated team of four Social Prescribing Link Workers, seven Connect service colleagues and external partners working in primary care teams, you will:
Work with patients referred by GP practices to provide personalised, strengths based support
Build trusted relationships and support individuals to overcome, social, practical and emotional barriers
Support people to access community-based services, activities and networks
Manage a varied caseload, maintaining accurate and timely records
Work collaboratively with GP practices, primary care teams, colleagues and external partners

About You
Passionate about creating a fairer society and reducing health inequalities
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Have experience of providing person-centred or personalised support (paid or unpaid)
Can work at pace and work across different data-systems and maintain accurate records
