Salary:  £28,721.60 pro rata per annum (£35,902 FTE inclusive of £3,990 Southeast weighting)         

Working hours: 28 hours per week across 4 days

Contract: Fixed-term until 31st March 2029

Location: South London (Women’s Centre and community hubs)

Job Purpose

This role leads and delivers a trauma‑informed, co‑produced programme of group activities for women experiencing domestic abuse and in contact with the criminal justice system.

Salary: up to £41,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications

Contract Type: Permanent

Working hours: full-time at 40 hours per week; shift work between 7am-10pm including weekends, bank holidays and occasional sleep-ins

Sleep-ins: £50. Enhanced hourly rates for overtime and bank holidays.  

Location: East Croydon

About the Role

As Team Leader, you will be directly involved in managing a 4 bed specialist short stay Home and looking after children aged 12 to 18 years old with complex needs; including Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Mental Health Disorders, Substance Dependencies and Learning Disabilities.

Whether shift leading or joining in with daily activities, you will also share in the leadership of the team, helping to develop staff by modelling high standards of professionalism.

The successful candidate will have:

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care or equivalent
•  GCSE English and Maths grades A-C.
• One year’s experience working at a level of responsibility with children and young people in a residential setting.
• An understanding of the regulatory framework relating to the provision of residential services for children and young people.
• Good understanding of the needs and risks regarding children in care.
• An understanding of trauma  informed practice.
• Experience of taking on leadership responsibilities in a teamwork setting.
• Ability to build genuine and trusting relationships with young people maintaining at all times high personal and professional standards.
• Excellent communication and team working skills.
• Ability to work shifts, including alternate weekend working and occasional sleep ins.

Through practical, emotional,spiritual, and community-based support, Bridge House helps residents build stability and transition successfully into independent living and integrate into life in the UK. 

We are looking for a full-time Project Leader to lead this exciting new ministry at Bridge House.

About the Role: 

Project Leader – Bridge House 

• You will work as part of a mission team toconfidentlylead and developBridge Housesupportedhousingproject. 

• You will manage the Bridge House support team to develop individual client led support plans for each resident and in providing one to one support for those individuals, always maintaining a high standard of care while also taking on a caseload of residents to support yourself. 

• You will maintain an atmosphere where positive change and growth is encouraged and a place where tenants can take positive steps that will enable them to move on and lead independent and responsible lives. 

• You will share the love of Christ and take opportunities for sharing the gospel with the guests 

• You will assess prospective residents’ suitability to the project. 

Salary:  £37,720 plus benefits 

Location: Bridge House, London Bridge 

WorkingHours:Full-time (40 hours inclusive of lunch breaks) 

Contract: Fixed-Term - 24 months

There is an occupational requirement that the person appointed be an evangelical Christian.
